Heh, is that a pool already, or another coin with the same ticker (FLT) ?

pool mining testing with small hash power.

I even don't know if it is worth to mine this coin yet.

anyone interesting, so I would open it for public mining.

I'd point my miners at this pool given the chance  Grin

Stop claiming 0% fees for the pool when there is a 2% compulsory "donation". It's bullshit, probably sums up the coin really.

The donation is NOT compulsory and you can allways change it to 0%. So, please, don't be so rude.

Nope, I tried to change it and it said I was below the permitted amount.

You've since changed the settings
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMO] EmotiCoin - keep smiling :) - pool with 0% fee !!! on: March 02, 2014, 04:22:17 PM
My account will not let me payout.  I cannot add my address, the box is just greyed out.

Please help DEV - Sent PM, no reply yet.

You need to confirm by email, but don't bother, the coin is 100% scam rather than the usual 99% Smiley

I recommend you go mine air or emc2, both look promising and diff isn't stupid yet.

Looks like someone's mining on the node, loads of rejects, barely any accepted, new block every few seconds without pause.....

Who knows, maybe the pool is on the same VPS.  Cheesy

Well I've given fifteen mins, got two blocks and about 150 rejected, launch sucks, going off to mine something a teeny tiny bit less scammy....  Grin

Let me explain the reason why stealth ninja lauches are BAD and open to being total scams

+ had to compile from sources, 15 minutes late compared to Windows users.

Dual boot is the answer here.

Pool:

https://emc2.suprnova.cc

0.5 % Fee, Stratum + VDiff etc.

There is something weird with the daemon, fixing now, Solomine !

Why are you spamming us with a pool that won't accept registrations?  Huh

You're a troll. Its not spam!

 Smiley

Oh dear.... and I was just going to do your maths for you, oh well, tough shit.

It is spam when it serves no useful purpose, like advertising a pool you can't join....

Please.. someone put up a working pool. I have 10MH I want to throw at this ASAP.

Mine solo, Diff is incredibly low !

Fuck... My computer guy who sets me up is in a rush, he says it takes long to set up 5 rigs to solomine, that means 5 wallets.

How long should the set up take so I can tell him hes crazy and it take no time. am I right?

let all rigs mine to the the same wallet in the network...

how to do that? What is the conf file  for that?

Forget it, you don't have time to learn it now, just get them going solo asap

It should take no more than 10 mins plus the time it takes to sync (very little with a new coin), your computer guy doesn't know his shit.

1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: March 01, 2014, 02:15:36 PM
I posted over on the Lazycoins exchange thread on behalf of AIRcoin. Looks like they open up shop on Sunday. The devs may want to contact them about being added. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471779.0

Once we've launched on a more reputable, working exchange we will start spreading to more. But so far we've turned down several offers and have been in negotiation to open on a larger exchange. Our own launch plans are in the works. We're fine with staying off an exchange for a few more days if it means we can make a huge impact when we do arrive, and that we can trust the exchange will still be around in a month's time. This also gives us time to roll out updates like Kimoto's Gravity Well before major interest spikes.

In other words, the quietness behind this coin is not a mistake, it's deliberate, as we plan our strategy for launching on an exchange.

This negotiation with the exchanges is confusing me, how are you turning down offers? The exchanges don't need the dev's permission or cooperation to start trading, they only need the wallet. Many coins end up on exchanges as a complete surprise to the devs. Why is Aircoin treated differently?

Been mining for 20 mins and have 300 coins confirmed, going ok, but prolly won't spend much time on it.....
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STC] StormCoin - Taking The CryptoCurrency World By Storm [Scrypt][STC] on: February 28, 2014, 06:08:59 AM
If u can please upload the wallet with files in the right directions that would be nice. I guess I uploaded my wallet where I was editing items in the blockchain

Just unzip and run everything in the resulting wallet, alter .conf and point your miner at the qt.

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
gen=0

Brilliant! Another way to lose money "gox style".
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Melange [SPICE] - The Spice Must Flow! on: February 27, 2014, 01:51:48 PM
Is it now safe to assume that, since the dev hasn't been seen since launch day, this coin has been abandoned?
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: February 25, 2014, 02:20:11 AM
Our development team has decided to Subsidize pool fees to encourage many pools being set up.

For pools with hashrates over 15M/H on that day:

1. Cryptsy
2. Bter
3. Poloniex
4. BTC-E

But we are willing to pursue and focus our campaign on whatever exchange that the users consider the best, ideal choice for opening the coin on.

We are looking for exchanges with high volume, many coins, and an exceptional API. Which of those four exchanges (or ones that we have overlooked) do you feel is best suited for AIRcoin?

We should note that any and all exchanges must conform to the laws within their state and country regarding cryptocurrency exchanges.

Coinmarket.io and Mcxnow are both very responsive sites, a joy to use, and I think they are both bigger than Poloniex.

Cryptsy is always lethargic and sometimes unusable, I'm not that keen on them. Getting coins in and out of Cryptsy is always slow in my experience.

BTC-E has a very limited coin market choice, I wouldn't really consider them major in that sense.

Bter is just strange and often problematic - withdrawals can be painfully slow.

I do like Poloniex, but it is rather low volume.
