Does anyone know where this is and is going there after the convention? Would be nice to walk there with someone.

Just bought a 5 year anniversary bitcoin from NewLiberty. It looks and feels awesome.
10127  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: September 27, 2013, 08:22:40 AM
Is it possible to still buy a ticket at the entrance today?

Yes.
Doors are open already come on over.
Where do you guys sit? I want to buy one of these nice coins. They were around 0.3 BTC right?
10128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MultiBit to Mycelium Wallet on: September 27, 2013, 06:04:44 AM
Maybe he has a reason to temporarily store them there. For example a BitCoin Convention? A quick buying trip in Berlin's BitCoin district? How would you guys now.

Anyway, I have Mycelium on my tablet and I know how to import it. Open the option menu, go to "Key Management" and press the "+". There you can add a private key. If you do not see it, then it is possible that you have to enable the expert option under "Settings"
10129  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: September 27, 2013, 05:47:53 AM
I, personally, am thinking of placing somekind of adblock check on my website. If you block my ads, I will block your payment Grin
10130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mcxNOW on: September 26, 2013, 08:29:30 PM
Some people don't like the operator of the site, but I personally am a very happy user for a couple of months now.
The site is super fast, easy to use and I'm pretty sure it will grow fast now that it offers interest payments and mcxfee shares.
I am going with this. I really like mcxNOW and never had any problems. The website always worked great and RealSolid is a very nice and trustworthy guy as far as I know. Always quickly replies to problems and questions, so at this moment I see no reason to doubt him.

We should make clear agreements where we meet and how late. To avoid things like this. Tongue

So, are we doing this tomorrow?

Quote
Friday the 27th: Conference has started, and likely plans will evolve, but if nothing is set into motion come to the famous Cafe Sound Garden (rated top 10 bars) in Jordaan at 7:30 PM for networking and chitchat (only a few minutes walk from conference) Site: http://www.cafesoundgarden.nl Map: http://goo.gl/YulcMM
Sounds good to me. I don't know any bars / cafes in Amsterdam, so I am down with everything Grin

Is it only me, or are no ads showing up from Bitads? I don't seem to be getting any ads on any of the websites that I have them on, yet I am still paying for them. Has something changed where I have to had Adblock disabled now or something?
I think that the hoster is laggy, which is the reason it doesn't get displayed.
Nvm. AdBlock blocks the ads for some reason.

Everybody is enjoying them self at the conference and I am just sitting here listening to a lecture about the RIP and OSPF protocol. Embarrassed
At least it's interesting.
Kinda. Not really something I need to know for my further job. I want to/will be a programmer, so why would I care about how the Internet works? Tongue

If you are writing code for a telco it could help.  BGP is for the bigger players, but OSPF and RIP are still abundant.
It still sounds like more fun than sitting in a Heathrow lounge waiting on a connecting flight, which is where I am now.
Well, you are right about that.

I hope everybody had a great day at the convention! Have fun meeting each other. I will be there tomorrow and I am excited as hell!

What up? And get well!

Not sure, just keep blacking out at random times, did it in the middle of a lab session. Sad times for pingu.
Meh, that sucks. Good luck with that dude.
