1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin retirement plan with a disturbing length of years. on: June 25, 2023, 10:07:47 AM
It's not disturbing, it's doable.

16years look like something too far in the future but it's not impossible to plan towards such period of time with Bitcoin, with many institutions getting into Bitcoin, it looks like something that can easily survive the next 20 years.

If you can't do this, that's you, please do not talk your friend out of this great plan of his, and moreover this is a plan target with just 20% of his income, I have no reason not to even encourage him.

with 20% of his monthly income, it shows that he understands the risks, be more encouraging to him instead.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 25, 2023, 09:09:31 AM
I will like to ask how you are going to cheat a gambling casino, and even if you have a way you won't get away with it, because if there is any bug in their system and you make any money through their weakness, that's stealing, you will be lucky to withdraw from the casino and don't forget that they are the one to process the payment, if you are lucky you can withdraw before they know that something is up and don't ever come back to that platform again, if you do, they will wait for you to make some money and they will deduct what you steal from them before.

There was a time where you can make free money on freebitco platform with some script and some people are lucky to cater away with good amount of Bitcoin, this was years back, but those who are late to the not working script and try to use the script paid the ultimate price for all the money the platform have lost, the team are aware of the script and everyone that uses the script lost all their money.

Yes you can cheat but don't go round looking for a way to cheat, some casinos are waiting for people like you, they know how to deal with cheaters.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 25, 2023, 08:04:50 AM
Ok, today I decided to look around me and view those that are gambling addicts, there is one truth that's been hiding from me before, all of these gamblers are from poor backgrounds, they are from families that have fallen apart, mother is living separate from father, one was an abandoned child that no one in the family cares about, one lost his mother at a very small age and the father is nowhere to be found, none of them came from a solid rocked family.

Is it fine to say that this was why they are addicted to gambling? Is it fine to say that poor way of living their lives is a part to why they see gambling as their only savior and final way out? Because it's true that only the poor people become a gambling addict, to them, this is their only chance to have a good life.

The reason why I gamble without much worries is because I made more money than what I use for gambling, it's not even up to 10% of my monthly income and I also do not use more than I have budgeted for gambling too, maybe I don't become an addict because I don't see gambling as my problem solver?
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is next for Bitcoin? Seems like the only winners are early adopters unless on: June 23, 2023, 07:52:18 AM
1. Forget the opportunity you missed in the past, it's not coming back anymore, and now the same opportunity is still present because Bitcoin keeps growing in value.

2. You don't need a lot of money to buy Bitcoin right now, this is the mistake that many new investors made, they think that since 1 Bitcoin is now 30,000$ they can't afford it, you will be fine with 0.003-0.0100 BTC, think about the future, if 1 BTC goes to 300,000$ you won't be able to afford 0.01BTC at the time.

3. Don't focus on 1 BTC or even the half, the satoshis will be worth a lot in the future and you will regret not having some piece of the pie when you can.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 23, 2023, 07:08:00 AM
You don't know the owner, but what makes you sure to deposit bitcoin to exchange?.

what makes you sure that your Bitcoin arrived safely and was not taken away by the owner?

I always thought that,
same as banks, I don't want to save it for long time, because banks often go bankrupt, and the owner run overseas.
LMAO, so where do you keep your money if not in the Bank? In my country the bankruptcy only happened once and that's years back, I have been keeping money in banks since I was 15 years old and I've never lost a penny to the Banks.

If you have to use a crypto exchange, you need to use the popular or biggest ones, before you there are millions of people using the exchange and if there is a problem, you would see a lot of reviews online about the problem.

If people are using the exchange then your money is safe for transactions on the exchange, for that day or the next, I don't advice to leave the funds on the exchange like it's a bank, once you are through with your trades, move your funds out.

Those who got caught in exchanges going bankrupt left their assets on the exchange as if it's the bank..
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 23, 2023, 06:22:10 AM
There is nothing to think about once you become a gambling addict, your sense of thinking will be shut down, and the only thing left in your brain is when you will make it with gambling, you will keep dreaming about how you will buy a mansion and Lamborghini.

If you put in the strength to change a gambler, you could get somewhere for a few days and weeks, and once you leave them alone, they will start dreaming of the possibility that they could win a shot, a single shot will turn into 100s of a failed attempt and money would have been spent too many times already.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Between futures trading and gambling on: June 23, 2023, 05:29:06 AM
There are many gamblers that can gamble just to have some fun and make money in the process and there are some that focus on gambling only to make money so I would like to ask such people a question.

would you prefer to gamble in a casino and make some money or learn about futures trading and make some money?

Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has Bitcoin suddenly jumped above $30,000? - 06/21/23 on: June 22, 2023, 09:27:11 AM
What do you expect? The following big companies are gearing up for the possible ETF approval and this time it looks possible

Invesco
Wisdom Tree
Black Rock
Fidelity

The bullish news is that many more bigger companies can still join the list soon, the crypto market needs this generally, if Bitcoin is ever going to reach a new all time high in near future, new loads of money needs to swing into the market, and maybe this is it.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Categories of Unrealistic Sports Betting Expectations on: June 22, 2023, 08:04:06 AM
Unrealistic gains in betting is only possible through sports bet, or maybe I should say that more easier with sports bet, not the other ways like Roulette and Slots, if you time the match perfectly and also you are not out of the luck swap yet, but a professional football lover can make this happen easily vs Slots gamblers.

In order for this to happen, you will still need a lucky charm, regardless of how good you are at this.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 22, 2023, 07:06:54 AM
Just imagine how we need to change the system of health care and society so that we can identify psychological problems at an early stage, because most people will never admit that they have any problems on a psychological level, although very many people have such problems to a greater or lesser extent.

In my opinion in order to do that we would have to introduce stricter control over each of us, and no one would like that, so society will never get rid of inadequate behavior of a certain percentage of people. We'll just have to accept it and be more attentive to our children and loved ones to protect our families from it.
While a more adequate treatment for those which suffer from a condition that is mostly on their minds would be great, the price we will have to pay as a society is too high, after all in these days in which people are connected with each other all the time and they share almost anything too, the only time they do not do so is when they are alone with their thoughts, if people were also forced to share whatever little private thoughts they have left they will surely complain about it and any reform on this regard will be quickly suppressed.

A good alternative remedy is not to let those who you love to stay alone.

If you will take some time to spend with them, the chance that they will divert some of their attentions and that will help
them to speak about something. Though there are people who are not vocal but the companionship will allow them to
lose focus on what they are doing. It helps not to let them getting addicted.
This was once a failed experiment to me, we've done it before for a family friend that got addicted to gambling and things look better and I personally spend a week with this fella just to make sure he won't be alone, I thought him few other things that can keep him busy and make money in the process, but after several months he went back into gambling, my point is when are you not going to leave them?

There will be a time where they will be alone, the best way to beat gambling adddict is if the gambler is willing to beat the addict himself, they need to put in the work themselves, and that's when the chains of addiction will break finally.

If you are the only one that has the mind to save a gambling addict from addiction, you have alreday failed before you begin.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: June 21, 2023, 09:05:51 AM
Wait, all this for a single shot? A single roll? Are you on steroids or something? And this looks very enticing, meaning many people wont say no to it, which makes this a losing game, I will like to hear from you OP, do you end up taking the shot? What really happened after?

I pity people like you, thinking they are good at what they do but gambling is a no man's land, we are all lost, and only those who take little risks get by easily.

Always pay more attention to the money you have right now, not the money you plan to win because it's not certain you will have more money at the end of the day.

Always let your risk factor on gambling be about what you can afford to lose for that day
1032  Economy / Economics / SEC fighting for the publics my ass on: June 21, 2023, 08:05:49 AM
So this was the ultimate plan all along....

For real? Now this will confuse many people that thinks that SEC are fight for the public, I knew they are trying to benefit from.crypto, but some fools still believe that they are trying to save us from the hands of people like FTX, now this is all you are gonna get..

A centralized exchange that's in the pocket of the very government entities, brave to all the SEC supporters out here, and those that are too blind to see a thing, even while Binance exchange was a centralized exchange, the government still don't have the power to take over the exchange, it's why they use SEC ro fight CZ, and now they come out with their shit bag platform.

So the existence of CBDC and now the government crypto exchange, what does this tell you? They want the money, they want the bags, it's why they are mad that they aren't a part of crypto space from the start, it's why they hated the new millionaires that operates exchanges right under their noses..

Now these people can really keep track of your freaking lives and money, congratulations.

It's always about the money and will always be, know this and accept peace.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock and Fidelity both apply for bitcoin ETFs on: June 21, 2023, 07:20:32 AM
Let's hope that at least one gets endorsed this time around, I have been hearing about ETF endorsement for year's and none ever became a reality, so that's why I am not going to take this very serious, it could be a dead end on the long run.

If at least an ETF gets authorized, it will be an enormous effect for Bitcoin and the entire crypto space and honestly, I will considered this year investors as the lucky ones because the sound of 'getting into crypto investment very early' will make even more sense right now, as many money we've never seen before will enter into the crypto market.

What we have left now is the hope, I do hope this won't be a time wasting hope wishing all over again.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 20, 2023, 09:33:55 AM
Everyone is free to give his own interpretation on women interaction with gambling but what we will all arrived at is that we cannot compare the rate of women participation to that of men in gambling, maybe we can give some reasons like how women were believed to be weaker vessels unlike men in most cases, their dedication and commitments to the house and the family especially in taking care of the children at home, lastly maybe our women may not have that boldness of taking risk associated to gambling because some depends on their earnings to take care of the family.
Women gamble less than men because women love money more than men and don't like to waste money. But nowadays women have also progressed a lot and women are working extensively as an alternative to men, so women are gradually getting involved in gambling as well too. But while women have gambled less than men so far, it doesn't seem like such a difference will exist in the future days
Things have changed so much, now women like taking risks with money, I am not sure about gambling but I am pretty sure about investment, the world is getting tougher every year and women have no choice but to start going the extra path of getting money like their men, I have two female friends, one is a hardcore crypto investor, believe me when I said "hardcore", she can be considered a crypto investment expert who takes risks that some men aren't even ready to take, my other female friend still feel hesitant with crypto investment but she likes other investments like land better.

I would love to know if you have ever seen an addicted female gambler before, i can't imagine a female getting addicted to gambling, I have never seen one but if there is it will be extremely bad.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2023, 08:02:51 AM
Using Bitcoin as day to day payment besides investment is getting harder, I would rather just keep my Bitcoin and use other coins for means of payment you know @GreatArkansas but I will love to accept Bitcoin as means of payment more than spending the Bitcoin.

In my past struggles, I have limited my daily food just to have enough for investment, but that took an effect on me, because I got slimmer, but I was able to get what I needed, that struggle was the sacrifice, it's why I believe nothing comes easily and nothing is for free.

I don't want to think about a world where food and surviving is the only last hope left for humankind, it will be bloodier, and even bigger tech won't be able to safe anyone, I appreciate the existence of Bitcoin because that's why I am present today talking in a good mood and healthy lifestyle.

By the way, Bitcoin won't still go centralized because of the world economic depression.
1036  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Can we ever have this again in 2023? on: June 20, 2023, 07:08:55 AM
Yeah freebitco still gives free Bitcoin till today and it's more like a faucet but you need to claim every hour, the amount giving out today is extremely low and it will take a long time before you reach your withdrawal limit, thinks have changed and time have passed, Bitcoin is now the big daddy of amazing value, no one dares give it up easily.

But OP, why do you feel the need to recreate this topic again? It makes no sense if someone has already done it before, this is not those news that need to be share few times on the forum to warn people about some hacks that's ongoing so as to reach many people in a short time.

It makes no sense to create this again.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 06:31:25 AM
The betting agent is to blame, gambling has no room for creditors and such rules should be printed out on cardboard and visible to all incoming gamblers, if this debtor is gambling through online casino will he be able to gamble as a debtor? There is no room for such.

This is one of the disadvantages for casino owners, giving faces for people that want to gamble without to money, and when the losses gets bigger the gambler's life will be at risk because of threats and this could lead to suicide.

I do not recommend offline casinos but if anyone is running such, say no to debts because you are not helping your business and you are not helping gamblers, I see this as a way to ruin gamblers lives easily, because you can tell that addiction is real.

In mainland China, some casinos willingly give gamblers the access to gamble on debit and this cost them their lives, until a new law was Installed in this once ruthless city.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 19, 2023, 11:46:06 AM
Since gambling companies are registered companies, is it possible that they have stocks? Is there anyway to invest in a gambling stock? Or let's say gambling related stocks? I am thinking that if this is possible then this could be one of the ways to get the best out of gambling and investment, I can't help but think that most gambling companies in the U.S are almost successful, only little to none run of out business in few years, gambling is a lucrative business, so I need answers if this is possible. Thanks

1039  Economy / Exchanges / When scammers lacks crypto updates on: June 19, 2023, 10:01:20 AM
This all started with the issue on the MEXC exchange and I had no choice than to look for help on the MEXC telegram group and someone did helped me out, and later she started texting me on telegram about crypto discussions and stuff.

She asked questions about which projects I am currently buying and if I know anything about crypto mining and these brought us good discussions for a while, later she claimed she no longer work for MEXC that she is now a Binance Employee..at first it makes sense because this discussion lasted for months.

I let all this in because she helped, I never let my guide down in any way, I was also waiting for a possible scam habit like referring me to a link, sending me a suspicious link, or a copycat website to steal my fund, I don't trust anyone online.

Fast forward to days ago, I brought up the issue surrounding Binance and SEC, for discussion sake, you know, to learn one or two things, to my own surprise, she knew nothing about that, this was where things aren't looking right, she never knew that Binance got sued.

That's when I started asking questions, and she end up blocking me, I guess we are having those good conversations for months to make me lose my guard, she must be waiting for a perfect time to use me and rob me.

Since she once helped me, she planned to use that on me and take advantage of me I guess, this is where I learned that not following what is happening in the crypto space as an investor is wrong.

It's good to always stay informed about what's happening around crypto lately, get a crypto news app on your phone or subscribe to crypto news feeds online to stay informed, this person was busted because she knew nothing that's presently happening with the exchange company she claimed she is working for.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Way to Introduce Bitcoin to Relatives, Spouse or Family on: June 19, 2023, 08:06:32 AM
I don't like reading a long post like this OP, sorry about that but my reply is going to be about your topic because I already have an idea where all this is heading.

I don't just introduce Bitcoin to anyone, that includes my family members too, I have to look very well before leaping, because some people in the family are not always welcoming, they are in a mood that only encourages them to shut you the hell up.

Some are disbelievers, they always want to talk you out of everything you have in mind and even your goals, so the type of people that I like introducing Bitcoin to are those that are looking for ways to make money online, at least they have something to do with the internet and they are not illiterate.

After that I always make sure they are ready for the risks, and the responsibility of blaming themselves if they lost their private keys or if someone steals their Bitcoin, I always make sure they are the ones ready to face the good and the bad side of Bitcoin.

I always prevent myself from helping them do the buying and things, they must be willing to do the readings and learn how to trade on an exchange and buy Bitcoin too, I will never put myself in the position of doing such for anyone.
