Great Idea!
1022  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BitPenny.com: Sustainable Mining (NEW: Open-Source Client) on: June 01, 2012, 02:37:10 AM
So is my pool connection correct in that the last block was 4-28-12?

Well the last block was ~800 hours ago. 800/24= ~33 days, so yes.

1025  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: How to find the SDK version I'm running? on: May 31, 2012, 03:35:53 AM
download and run gpu caps viewer > opencl page. if you have "ati stream" its 2.1. if you have AMD APP and its version number starts with a 7 (793 or something like that), its sdk 2.4 or 2.5. If it starts with an 8 (like 831) then its 2.6 or 2.7.

Thanks a ton!
Code:
OpenCL 1.1 AMD-APP-SDK-v2.5 (793.1) FULL_PROFILE

1027  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: fluctuations in total network hashing speed on: May 31, 2012, 01:07:00 AM
Sometimes, the block takes 15 minutes, and others, 5 minutes.

This doesn't even describe it enough. Sometimes its <1 minute between blocks, hell sometimes its even an hour+.
1028  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / How to find the SDK version I'm running? on: May 31, 2012, 12:47:11 AM
So months ago I am fairly certain that I patched 2.5 onto Catalyst 12.1 but I am unsure, how can I check which SDK version is installed and running on my system?

something is wrong xD
This was mentioned a few times already.
A temporary fix was implemented now Smiley
Did this fix cause the "found in" block times on the stats page to all show nulls?

Haha Tycho you so funny.

Started newest I0coind last night.  Having problem of daemon dropping connections and not wanting to download the block chain. Hopefully when I get home from work the block chain will be downloaded.  I updated the database and delete all the i0coin transactions and generations that went on the forked block chain. I'll try again tonight to start up merged mining again. Sorry for the delay.

My daemon seems to be working fine. Odd.
1034  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 25 Ghash - Solo mine? Or GPUMax? on: May 30, 2012, 09:06:17 PM
So, your advanced level mathematics led you to the conclusion that I am making .8 BTC per Ghash.

My low, low level, redneck, grew up in the country shooting guns and riding dirtbikes math got me to .9 BTC per Ghash.

I guess my education isn't that bad after all.

Here is a post I found:

Does anyone have a good approximation for a MH/s to shares conversion?  Say I have 10 GH/s.....how many shares would that produce in 1 hour?

one diff 1 share ~= 2^32 hashes.

1 GH/s * 60 * 60 = 3.6E+12 hashes per hour.

So 3.6E12 / 2^32 = ~838 shares (diff 1) per hour per GH/s

10 GH/s would be 10x that or ~8380 shares per hour.

So, about 838 shares an hour Per GH/s. You have 25GH/s so that's approx. 20950 shares an hour (838*25).

20950*0.00004PPS=0.838BTC an Hour.

That's if your PPS is 0.00004/share on GPUMax of course.

So you should make 0.838*24 a day, aka 20.112BTC.

Just saw 2 threads about potentially fraudulent paypals, don't get scammed ask for ID. For OP.

I have had a successful paypal/btc transaction with R-, I don't think he would scam anyone.
