I would use 1BTC to buy BitCoin Novelty coins and swim in them! Well, I would try to swim in them Tongue

I send you a PM.

Well I already made a very simple BitCoin price ticker. That isn't hard at all. What else do you want except widgets (those are easy too).
Just a simple page, where you type in how many Bitcoins you want to check the price on and it shows up in the currency you selected, the widgets page doesn't really matter at this point just prefer to have a basic price site first.
Does it have to have constant live updates (like Preev.com)? Or you just type in the price, press enter and it shows the price without reloading the site?

Um, would it be harder to do with constant live updates.
Well if the prices updates, the value you were typing would disappear. I would have to create a way around it. It isn't hard, but it's extra work. Tongue

Damn, this is a genius idea. I will keep this in mind for when someone really pisses me of  Roll Eyes
10508  Economy / Services / Re: FreeBitCoin on: August 30, 2013, 02:59:24 PM
I guess it's written in .NET. Just get a program which is able to read the code from the program. Then you simply check if it contains suspicious stuff. That isn't hard at all.
I would do it right now if I had decent internet, but I don't. So yeah. If nobody did this within 4 hours, I will check it out myself ;p
10509  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk++ script - v0.1.29 on: August 30, 2013, 02:49:07 PM
well yeah, this one works. BUT I can't vote now "error: bad password" Cheesy

edit: fixed. works.
Yeah, somehow settings are reset at every update.
10510  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk++ script - v0.1.29 on: August 30, 2013, 02:07:09 PM
update: for some reason, there are 2 scripts running now

1. bto-plusone (wtf?)
2. BitcoinTalk++

The first one. That is the official name. BitCoinTalk++ is the name of the Chrome Extension

that's the problem!

the update re-installs bitcointalk++ instead of updating bto-plusone
Tampermonkey downloaded them both for me. Oh wait, I am using the BitCoinTalk++ one. Just use that one.
It works and I see no Asterisk.
10511  Economy / Services / Re: Digital & Traditional Artist! on: August 30, 2013, 02:05:03 PM
Damn, they look awesome! I really like the second one o.o

10513  Economy / Goods / Re: Serp error coin on: August 30, 2013, 12:56:00 PM
Hey everyone.  The coin in question here is labeled 16J2e and it's full address is <a href="https://blockchain.info/address/16J2e5LGkMTAjn7JZt4o78od4KKS9ZXf4P">16J2e5LGkMTAjn7JZt4o78od4KKS9ZXf4P</a>.  During the creation process I used blockchain.info's api to get the first bits.  Apparently there was a timing or indexing issue there because the bits returned ended up changing.  Lesson learned, I'll not rely on that method in the future.

I have not found any other coin that is mislabeled but I will be running a script to verify them all here shortly.  For reference on the coins already produced the labeled address and the full bitcoin address can be verified below:

http://serpco.in/bits.txt

Ahh thanks serp for the address and clarification.

Anyway, like I said, this thread is just for me to see what possible offers would be. If there none, that's perfectly fine by me  Smiley
Well there are a few offers ;p

10515  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk++ script - v0.1.28 on: August 30, 2013, 12:20:29 PM
I have updated to the latest version (I'm using Tampermonkey) but I still see that darn Asterisk. Tongue

Buy one rose each day and give it to one random young girl. Prett sure it'll make many girls feel better Smiley

and you will get many suspicious looks from their parents
Hahaha indeed. He could better print some cards with something on it like: "You are awesome. Don't listen to anyone who tells you different" and give those away.
10519  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum "stuck" - showing unverified transactions on: August 30, 2013, 09:14:17 AM
Switch to different servers a few times. That always works for me.

Idea: Maybe it would be a good idea to start a race if there aren't 5 people after a full hour of waiting. Sometimes I need to wait hours for that fifth person Tongue
