1061  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 27, 2012, 07:21:11 AM
Why would anybody in their right mine request a summary of THIS thread?

Why would you question a question?
1062  Other / Off-topic / Re: .tc domain registrar -godaddy on: May 27, 2012, 07:20:27 AM
payb.tc needs renewing soon, and i was thinking of using this opportunity to move from godaddy (puke) to namecheap.

however just like sopa, namecheap doesn't support .tc domains.

so, can anyone recommend a .tc registrar that i can spend my money on?

http://iwantmyname.com/ does .tc transfers, and they seem to have a 20% off transfer special for .tc too.

(Found from a google search)

Is I0C mining still working?  We seem to be off on some kind of fork since it shows that we've solved almost every consecutive block for the past few hours.

I0C chain is fucked up, apparently there was a massive rollback on the chain. P2PMining seems to be the only ones mining, and difficulty has dropped to less then 1000. Vircurex seems to still be hosting the chain too still, somehow.

Yeah Bitparking has:

2012-05-26: i0coin is temporarily disabled due to issues with the i0coin chain. I'm investigating and will reenable when it's working again.

That in the news. Looks like there will be an update to the i0coin daemon/client soon.

Great! I have a reason to boot up my miner again.
1067  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: if you had 200 GH/s which is the most profitable pool? on: May 26, 2012, 02:52:10 AM
I guess this fits in the thread, sorta. So, does hopping with a lower hashrate still give you a little bonus profit? Like say .5 to 1GH hopping deepbit or bitclockers.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Funcoin - A new pool for litecoin on: May 25, 2012, 07:48:11 PM
What happened to the pool?

Well I have 250MH/s if you want me. I'm pointed at GPUMax so I would mine at your p ;)xy any time they aren't leasing my shares. Also work often leaks to my backup pool, which I would set as this pool.

Edit: Also within a few more weeks I'll be increasing my hashrate to 500MH/s.

Unfortunately for me, I am looking to be your primary target.  The 250-500 setup is perfect, but 24/7 would the best, cause I need to be able to estimate if I lose my stats...   I might crash it and have to pay from my other private server and averaging hash rate would be my fallback.  Might be too risky for me...but Ill pm ya if I get off using a spreadsheet  Wink

Yeah man sorry, but 140%+ PPS beats 111% any day. Cheesy
1070  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: general megahash to shares relationship? on: May 23, 2012, 08:25:37 PM
How does this relate to difficulty?
Current difficulty is 1733207.5138484 (http://blockexplorer.com/q/getdifficulty). How many shares would be produced, with difficulty 1733207.5138484 for every GH/s

Shares are usually difficulty 1.

I will ask piuk about what the extra field is and update it if possible. I think it has changed in the last 24 hours as I tried it ok last night.
The transaction lookup for blockexplorer.com in the MultiBit transactions details dialog still works ok.

Cheers

Seems to be the transaction number. See:

http://blockchain.info/tx-index/3578085/
and
http://blockchain.info/tx-index/3578086/

Are seconds apart. They don't require the transaction hash either.

Seems blockchain.info changed the way URL's work for transactions. Might wanna fix that.
