1062  Economy / Marketplace / [HELP ME!] Starting an online store that accepts BTC & PP on: February 24, 2013, 11:51:32 AM
Hi Guys!

I need a bit of help to start a website.  I'm REALLY REALLY rusty with mySQL/PHP/Java/html etc. and want to just use a site that has an eCommerce site builder without having to code the site at all.

Now I know there are TONS out there but I want one that can incorporate a Bitcoin shopping cart and a Paypal shopping cart. I'm having trouble finding any helpful guides out there.

Any suggestions on Hosting, or domain name registering as well would be AWESOME! (An all-in-one domain name/hosting/site builder would be EVEN BETTER!)

Thanks Cheesy
1063  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitcoinASIC refund fiasco is BitPay's fault on: February 23, 2013, 12:31:59 PM
and only let him withdraw at the current USD rate.

Wouldn't that make them richer?
1064  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Newest Update From BFL on Chips on: February 23, 2013, 12:29:54 PM
Cocaine is insanely expensive here in Australia so there's not really a market for cocaine which has been cheaply free-based.  Those who can afford coke - which ranges from $300 - $600 per gram here - can afford to pay for coke which has been free-based properly.  Crystal methamphetamine is a lot cheaper.

Well, where I am it's about the same price.  It's lasts way longer tho Smiley

Like the Kiwis do ...

Kiwis eat chups.

I can't eat chups, can't chew bro.
1065  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Newest Update From BFL on Chips on: February 23, 2013, 02:09:45 AM

You made me lol Smiley

Also, I've never seen crack ANYWHERE in Australia Tongue

Better bet is...

I don't think I could bet on any of em right now.

*sighs*

Face it: You have been fucked again.

Ya mum's face is...

Micon  Cheesy
So....seeing your attitude about BFL is quite perplexing to me  Roll Eyes

BFL_Josh made Micon look like a fool. Micon spends his days now chucking tantrums over forums, made up websites (whose sole purpose is for self promotion), and what ever other medium he can get his weird skinny hands on.
1069  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Newest Update From BFL on Chips on: February 22, 2013, 11:34:53 AM
At this stage BFL would be better off saying "mid-March" and pleasantly surprising people by being ready to ship early than giving another overly optimistic "worst case scenario" and failing to meet it.  22 February was supposed to be the "worst case scenario".

I'm also curious about how much their units weigh because $88 for international shipping sounds way too low.

Are you friggin serious?  Their units would weight 500g - 1kg MAX.

I got a large package from the US with a computer case in it that weighed over 5kg sent for $55.  It only took 4 business days to arrive in Australia.

So no, $88 is a ridiculous price for international shipping.

I'm being a smartarse Smiley

I got BTC5 riding on BFL delivering before 1st March. (That's currently US$153.25 folks!)
1071  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement - ASIC mining processor by Butterfly Labs on: February 22, 2013, 10:57:48 AM

How many $$$ are you going to lose in this bet? http://bitbet.us/bet/7/bfl-will-deliver-asic-devices-before-march-1st/

I'm not going to give specifics, but...

More than $10, but less than $10,000.

Pretty cute that every post of mine here gets deleted.  Sick censorship.  Gmaxwell, I presume.

I agree, you're posts should NEVER be deleted.

It's the only way people know how much of a corrupt, slimy, stalkerish, cowardly, egotistical, and the unethical blowhard you are.
1073  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement - ASIC mining processor by Butterfly Labs on: February 22, 2013, 10:00:03 AM

BFL seriously fucked a ton of suckers up the ass with their PRE-ORDER bullshit.

    Grin Grin Grin

dude, they're all guilty of it.

Avalon "SHIPPED" 4.5 weeks ago!  Only 2 (maybe 3?) still delivered.

bASIC?  pre-order and fall over.

I'd shut the fuck up if I were you, NOT ONE company has delivered mass ASIC yet.

NOT BLOODY ANY ONE OF EM!!

EDIT : Sorry to crack it.  I'm just getting pissed off at this WHOLE situation.  I wish ASICs for bitcoin mining had never been thought up.  It's just giving everyone the shits and starting arguments amongst ourselves.

I can't help you, because you think I'm a dipshit.   Undecided

You don't seriously have over 900 sites registered?

I won't judge...promise Smiley

1078  Other / Off-topic / Need Advice : Opening Online BTC Stores & domains purchasing on: February 21, 2013, 03:34:22 PM
Hi Guys! I need some advice...

I want to setup a couple of online stores (1 for me and 1 for the mrs).

-What's a faily cheap way to do this?
-I need a noob solution.  I've forgotten all the PHP/JAVA/MYSQL/HTML I learnt 12 years ago, and I don't have much time to relearn. Also my wife needs to be able to run one of the online stores (she's no programmer, but she's not silly either)
-The stores only need to be able to sell maybe up to 100 different items
-bitpay and maybe paypal as payment solutions

I'd also like to get some domains and park them for future use, or direct them to the sites I'm building (if my first projects go well I can open more stores Smiley)
-inexpensive way to do this?
-Easily Transfer parked domains to hosted webpage
-easy redirects to another page
-parking/redirects for maybe 5-15 sites.  I'm not one of these dipshits that sit on 900 premo sites for years and years.

I'd really appreciate any advice you guys could give!  I'm really hoping to start selling stuff to you guys (and the world) with 6 months.  I may have a baby on the way, and need ways to supplement my income. Also the wife is keen to sell her products to give herself something to do when she's at home all day (after leaving her current workplace).

Getting my foot in the door financially before bitcoin EXPLODES is important to me.  I know this shit is the future! Cheesy

I love Picard, but I see myself more of an Archer.

Jonathan Archer is really based on my real life.

You see, I used to bounce around from person to person (my workmates called it leaping). Everyday I'd leap from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap... will be the leap home.

Then I sat on my arse for about 10 years.

I got bored with that and got myself a beagle, promoted myself to Captain and managed to be about the only interesting thing and a fairly boring TV Show.

I'm now back on my arse doing nearly nothing (does bitcoin mining count?)

1080  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why isn't someone at BFL cancelling and refunding my order? Son has Cancer!!!!!! on: February 21, 2013, 01:38:01 PM
Also, I'm not really one to ask people for anything, but my son's life is at stake here.

I hope you're not trying to scam us, no offence.

If I was a religious man I'd pray for you. I really really hope it all works out and everything gets better for you and your family.
