Aaah, but maybe your hand was stationary, and it was your body (and the rest of Earth and the Universe) that was moving downwards?
If there's one thing I've learned so far in life, it is that everything is normally not what it seems. Question everything.

Number of correct answers: 8 Crook You have decided to deceive us by selecting most of the answers at random. Probably, you are too busy trading at the Bitcoin exchange, or solving problems concerning overheating at your farm? Otherwise, you clicked at random because you know nothing about cryptocurrency. Fun quiz, some questions were confusingly worded (probably down to dodgy translation, I think the hashing speed question had an answer of "6ГX/s" ??)

I really think there's gonna be huge buying pressure well above the $300 mark.
I hope I'm right.

If you're a cheapskate like me and haven't got glasses/3d TV, set it up on "side-by-side cross eyed" and go cross eyed until the 2 pictures overlap. If you are used to stereograms (magic eye 3d pictures) then you can do it pretty well. fucks up your vision for a while afterward though haha.
A good 3d film on youtube is "Unbeleafable" - girl skateboarding vid in a fake forest, it's sick. There's a;so some cool basejumping and close proximity wingsuit shit on there which is pretty epic...

The only type of 'gambling' I put a fair amount of money into is poker, and that's because you don't play the house, just other players who are in the same position as you, so it's a fair playing field and comes down to skill (and a bit of luck).
Aye, I've been trying to convince some friends that poker is totally different from other casino gambling. I like to think I'm a reasonably good poker player (turned 1 BTC into 5 BTC on seals over a few months), but some of my friends think it's all about knowing the percentages, and nothing more. I'm gonna try and set up a game soon and hopefully bleed em all dry hehe. I think NL holdem is about 60% luck/40% skill, but this obviously depends on what type of game you are playing (tourney/cash game), and Pot Limit would have more luck involved as it's easier to call more cards for cheap.

http://lotorainbow.com.br/en/default.aspSo I came across this site which claims a method for picking sets of numbers with a higher chance of winning. I've been reading through the different pages, and I think it's almost certainly bullshit to be honest, but I don't quite understand what their method is exactly... It seems to be based on looking at different groups of numbers that are more likely to appear than other groups, so not predicting the exact numbers per se, just sets of numbers than seem to occur more often. It reminds me of an old converstation I had with a relative who has a Masters in Statistics - I said that I thought that if 5 numbers were drawn that were all the same colour/group of 10 numbers (eg 1,2,3,4,5), then there would be less chance of another number from that group of 10 being drawn last (such as 6/7/8/9/10) as there are only 5 numbers left to draw in this group, with 10 numbers in all the other groups. But he explained that each individual number drawn is totally independent, and has no relation to any of the previous numbers picked. So therefore, the fact that all the first numbers were the same colour/group of 10, has no effect on which group the last number will be from. So therefore, even if 1,2,3,4,5 all come out, and your last pick was, say, 6, 6 has no more chance of being drawn last than any of the other numbers (6-49 or whatever) - all numbers have the same chance no matter what the previous numbers drawn were. Seems legit. So yeah, I call bullshit, but if someone here can explain why I'm wrong, please do!

GMO, NWO....eugenica it is all conected lol, what? Even if you do think that GM stuff is dangerous, why does it have to link in with all that conspiracy theory shite? That's the problem with "activists" like you, although you speak some truths, you lose your credibility when you start linking everything together with no proof or evidence. It's one thing to say it's dangerous, another thing entirely to start saying it's some master NWO eugenics plan.... I personally think that GM food is perfectly safe if it's done carefully - I would say the main danger is cross-pollination, that could cause for example some sort of strain of super-plants (triffids if you will) that could upset the local eco-system. Unlikely though. I don't agree with these hugely powerful corporations basically doing what the hell they like, however, with no regard for anything/anyone else. Also don't agree with the french dude going to prison, but that case has nothing to do with GMO as far as I can see?

The analogy to Bitcoin's serious taint problem fails because most gold owners are anonymous.
It also fails because the percentage of gold that is tracked on a globally coordinated ledger is 0%.
Yes indeed the overzealous continue to be shamed.
Why you guys protest against truth so much. Why not accept reality and leave your delusions behind.
Once again AnonyMint, how do you expect the logistics of confiscating the coins to work? Your "coin taint theory" states that once all coins are tainted, then they will eventually all be subject to confiscation, correct? I don't see how this can work on a global scale, too many people with BTC, not enough money or personnel to achieve. I asked you this in another thread, but you just answered by saying that "the IRS will do an audit and then you'll be prosecuted, everyone else will get the message and eventually comply" or something along those lines. What if you pay the correct tax on any BTC you cash out for fiat? If I was going to launder money I certainly wouldn't use a bank account, that would be dumb. Granted, the IRS couldrandomly turn up at your house and search for gold/diamonds in your basement. But I wouldn't keep large amounts of gold or diamonds in my basement. How could they even get a warrant for searching, say, the top 100 largest BTC holders RL addresses, if there is no concrete evidence of money laundering? Surely this would cause uproar if the press found out? Are you saying that even if you genuinely haven't done anything illegal, you will still get audited and thrown in jail just for having "tainted coins"?? Oh and nice thread Peter R, sorry for the hijack...

Anonymint, I get your points about anonymity (I've read a lot of your posts re: tainted coins/regulation/anonymity etc.)
Can you just explain one thing - the logistics of actually tracking down EVERY bitcoin owner/exchange customer IRL. I understand that with regulated exchanges there will be MORE chance of being tracked down, but I still think you're looking too much into the technicalities. For a start, there are anonymous exchanges like localbitcoins.
But even if peoples IP addresses/identities/RL addresses are logged, are LE going to go round everyone's house, arrest them and throw them in jail? It seems unlikely to me, I mean we're talking about millions of people, worldwide.

Yeah, it seems that electric cars in particular are stuck in that so-called "chasm of uncertainty" (the bit just before the s-curve goes exponential) I think the reason is that petrol/diesel cars have just been cheaper and more fun to drive for the last 100 years. That also makes me bullish on bitcoin, because it is actually cheaper to use and more fun than fiat currency IMHO.

The Swiss franc is pretty strong, compared to most other currencies atm, as it's purchasing power is pretty stable against the other big currencies. Someone I know works for a financial firm in Zurich, and he's very happy to be paid in CHF.
It is tied to the Euro now. Central bank policy. CHF strength is history. Interesting, I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the info.

Some of you are in danger of losing your salvation, with the kinds of things you say to me, with the perverse pic and such
But it's Jesus, how can you be perverted to your own Messiah??! BLASPHEMY!

EDIT2: I just noticed that jesus has the most horrifying hairy camel toe, now that not very christian is it?! LOL. After u said this, I see it too. Edit: I think it's balls. Possible. I guess that's a little more christian (seeing as balls are for procreation). So the question is, was teabagging invented by the devil?

God created all things THROUGH Jesus Christ
I see him everywhere... when will more people start to understand that we are hard-wired to recognize patterns in nature, most scientists believe that is one reason why homo sapiens became so successful. Unfortunately our "pattern recognition" can be tricked, especially with things that resemble faces/other humans... the image is the infamous "face on Mars", which was obviously not a face when re-photographed with better cameras years later. EDIT: I know you were being sarcastic btw mate EDIT2: I just noticed that jesus has the most horrifying hairy camel toe, now that not very christian is it?!

Nope, you created this God thing only to cope with your existence. I am coping with my existence and that I am nothing more than atoms stuck together, so I needn't such a fictional entity . Well put, it reminded me of this track by YTCracker (of Bitcoin Baron fame ) https://soundcloud.com/ytcracker/ytcracker-supernova-swagI am totally happy with the fact that we're made up of atoms that were created billions of years ago in a supernova far, far away. In fact I think it's awesome, way more interesting (and way more likely) than any religion or god-based theory.
