after about 10hr mining my estimates say 0.007 and i have almost 2mhs...weird no?

What is your rejection rate? HW error rate?

Keep in mind that the server doesn't accept invalid shares, so what it is accepting will only be a subset produced by your overall hash.

nah everything is good on my side. i got about 0.2 payout in 24hr over at middlecoin. ill give it a go for at least 48hrs

mining is shit now anyways Smiley

How the hell did you get 0.2 BTC in 24 hrs with 2mh?  With 5.5mh it's a struggle to get to 0.1.

I don't believe that figure for a second.  He must be missing a 0 or couple.

There's not much you'll be able to do about the rejects (that's all on the coins), but you got 0 HW errors so you've done really all you can do.

Hell, even on Middlecoin a month ago i was doing .1 est. payout per day.. now if i'm lucky i get .04-.05 here or on any of the other multicoin pools.

That being said, i've found that my only hedge against such bad mining times is lowering my watt usage...and my 7950s REALLY like .95-1.0 @ 950/1350.

Also traded all my 7970s in for 7950s.

Mind,
This is my payout history for the last few weeks.

Alt mining, even most prof., has been sucking lately.

Disregard the last couple days (rig problems)

This is with ~2.6mhs, with 0 HW errors according to CGMiner.

Also, hello mindragon!  Smiley

There is no "loyalty" in a multicoin pool that hits the best prof coins.

In fact, it's the other way around.

In unrelated news, I cashed out a couple of BTC in my Coinbase account to my bank and the funds arrived in less than 24 hours, in fact, overnight. Shocked
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: October 02, 2013, 10:52:34 AM
Any sort of intensity over 18 is really not worth it in terms of the added power consumption.

My 7950s @ 1100/1600 @ 1.1v:
 @ 18i do 630khs @ 200w
 @ 19i they do 645khs @ 220w
 @ 20i they do 655khs @ 240w

So as you can see i'm literally consuming an extra 120w for ~another 100khs when the intensity is set full blast @ 20.

The same could be said even for intensity 18, but the jump in wattage from 17 to 18 is negligible but 18 still produces an extra 20-25khs over 17.

Tried a few times and really like it, but the reject rate is also killing me. Is it the coin or the pool problem?

Was the coin.

Back down to .48% rejection rate for current round as of this posting.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: October 01, 2013, 11:38:41 AM
For the last week, whenever I look at the stats I see something like this.

I have about 1,3 MH/s and no other pool gives me such ridiculously high reject rate, not to mention the grossly understated hash rate for all 3 workers (3 identical ATIs 5870).

I an running multiple 7xxx cards and my reject rates have always been low on HC.

Must be your config.

Nah, this pool is great. I was dealing with the quirks of multiple coins manually. That was an headache.

That said, there's one thing miners will have to consider. When switching coins, the connection is interrupted for some seconds or no work is available. You must take into consideration what those 50+ daily start/stop cicles (and so, temperature variations) do to your videocards in the long term, specially if you're using --auto-fan. If you mine here, I suggest you undervolt, don't push them too far or take a serious look at cooling

Um, do you have any scientific support of such a claim?  Not tryin' to flame, but first time i've ever heard that theory.

If anything, the disruption on each start/stop cycle is like giving the cards a mini-break.

Either way, my cards are all in the low 70s C range, and every little disconnect / reconnect only drops their temps maybe 5-10C before the server kicks back up.

Wow..  I hope the good news your about to tell us is that we can expect the results to be more like today's results going forward..

Bummer..  Spoke too soon..  Why is it that all the sudden Est dropped almost 50%?HuhHuh?

But I will say that so far I see no major difference in profits between here, middlcoin, and Multpool... Nothing that really sets any of these apart from the other...

I remember Middlecoin to be wildly unpredictable in actual earnings.  More often than not i'd be getting the short end of the stick.

If this pool can normalize what i *should* be getting per my hash rate / prof then i'm a very happy camper.

Since starting, a hashrate @ 2.4mhs.

9/19 and 9/23 my rigs had some troubles.

Other than that, my deposits have been very very close to predicted @ .045.

Get some backup pools enabled, don't let those cards stop digging!!

I really should.

Yeah not sure what is up with today but it's looking to be the worst in a long long time.

What gets me is that i'm in Texas, oil capital of the country, and i still pay 13.5 cents per kw.
