Can checks be revoked? That would be bad because you can't get back your bitcoins right?

Yes, and i will sell them at 500 per coin and then buy more when the price drops.
I seriously doubt that you are such a whale investor in bitcoins that you can manipulate the price solely by yourself. While I do believe there will be a good amount of resistance at $500, the price is going to inevitably fetch higher prices in the spring of next year because of the halving fiasco that's about to come. So if I were you, I would just wait until then. How much do you think the price will raise after the halving?

Has anyone used the Copay wallet? It can be used on all platforms and seems pretty convenient because there is an app and it's not web-based.
i downloaded copay and have tried it , good wallet we can back up import export key and we get full acces but... I am more familiar and accustomed to xapo and now I use xapo for daily spending Blockchain is best wallet always apart from that you can try multibit to have for the big transaction. It has the offline and online support in that and Electrum is much faster and reliable with low level internet connection too But Blockchain wallet has been sometimes not accessible and I had problems trying to make any transactions.

In France, Paymium is officially recognized (and you can use it in many European countries). You can use services that will be "like a bank". Xapo for example will keep your bitcoins and give you a debit card to withdraw and pay in FIAT, that can be considered as a very simple banking service. You can also "lock" your stash into USD on a service like coinapult, it can be useful for small e-commerce if you don't want to deal with volatility and also don't want to deal with -for example- BitPay.
That is interesting but is there a service that will pay you an interest for holding your bitcoins?

My worst mistake is that I didn't start to get involved sooner

What happened to Real Madrid?

Isn't the volatility of bitcoins too great for the banks to be comfortable dealing with it? It will be like playing the stock market for them.

I thought, he talks about Bitcoin cos his company (McAfee) is started to accept Bitcoin for the payment. The fact is doesn't like what I expected I heard he stepped down from the CEO position and is now running for president?

I would invest it in some business to get more dividends out of it.

I have read about CPU-mined coins but I don't think a laptop grade CPU will be any efficient though.

It is all hype created by media. They run out of hot topics and here we go - back to the standard "Hunt for Satoshi" theme. Identity of Satoshi is very interesting news, so it is hard to blame media and journalists for trying to uncover this secret. Even though they don't have any solid proofs and basically are running in circles - but show must go on.
Yeah these breaking news about Satoshi Nakamoto are designed to sell their newspapers and magazines and make them more money.
