May I ask how many hours per day or per week one should be available to maintain the social media tasks? Is there a fixed time frame one should adhere to every day? Thanks.

Selling to people on Localbitcoins is even more dangerous than providing your ID to somewhat 'legitimate' online exchanges in my honest opinion. You are letting random people see your face and possibly knowing the vicinity where you live. What about following you home and figuring out a way to kidnap or coerce you into giving them your big stash of coins? As the guy above me said when you go off the Internet your anonymity is gone immediately.

they are used to help anonymize the criminals, lol. in that case, they will be able to earn more money for the better service for those criminals. lmao.
That is nonsense.. I have never committed any crimes and I am using it. I even feel so strongly about it that I signed up for one of the biggest and reputable mixer's signature campaigns. Your privacy is your business... If you use cash, you have the same anonymity as with the use of any mixer service. If the authorities wants to trace criminals, who use mixer service, they only need to follow the rules of the game and subpoena these services for the information. I do agree that using a mixer increases your anonymity but what happens when you want to exchange some of your bitcoins into fiat? You need to provide your ID to the exchanges to get out your cash. It doesn't make sense to me to bother with mixers unless you send a fraction of your stash through a mixer to conceal your main wallet but this is a different story. I guess if it makes you happy and more secure online more power to you mate.

I don't think it's right to explain bitcoin mining to people who are not tech-literate. It's like explaining how 'magical money' grows in your computer then you harvest it after a week or a month and poof you get cash out of thin air.

Bitcoin is banned only in few countries and the banks and governments don't hinder its adoption that much, it is all down to the people to use Bitcoin or not.

Updated: a chance to win 50USD added to attract more responses to the survey.
Hey this is now a great incentive indeed. Will you have only 1 winner for that $50? Good luck to all participants and I hope your research will be a productive one.

Windows 10 now contains a keylogger. I'm commenting on the problems posted in this forum. I don't use any of the services, so I don't have any direct experience.
What do you mean Windows 10 contains a keylogger? Are you talking about the automatically released data to Microsoft of your daily usage? You can stop that by tinkering with the settings and stopping some services from activating.

Coins mixed, it was pretty quick, took 30 minutes. Blockchain.info taint analysis shows no taint. There may be some problems with the website, it is stuck like this: Other than that everything went well. Everything worked fine on my end received and mixed back the bitcoins to a new address but that page didn't refresh to prompt me that the coins were mixed successfully. Maybe it's just my browser I don't know really.

What is the status on the hunt for the hacker who stole the coins? Has anyone provided info on the matter and claimed the bounty?

This regulation will hit the Japanese exchanges the most because they will need to obtain a license from the government to continue operation. Anyway Japan is a forward-thinking nation they will figure this out no worries

Using Bitcoin is not compulsory in the sense that it's a necessary payment method. If you receive your salary in Bitcoins then yes you 'need' to use them to survive.

You should order a pizza from that place and have the same guy deliver it to your door then offer him a Bitcoin tip he couldn't refuse

Yeah as the guy above me said if you want people to take you seriously here as a newcomer you need to show first some of your past works so your portfolio will impress your future employers.

The problem with all the bitcoin lotteries is how do we know that the person who wins every week is not just an alt of the person organizing the lottery? The problem is not the escrow holding the funds but determining if the winner is legitimate in the first place. That's why all the 'official' lotteries have audits and committees overlooking the process. Because the escrow could be releasing the wins to your alt accounts and no one would be suspecting a thing.

Don't mean to disrespect but aren't your fees a little bit on the steep side? What about the aspiring freelance writers who don't have that amount of cash to pony up?

I think more than 4% of the population is aware of Bitcoin. Now if they want to use it for payments is a whole different story. For example I do know what gold and stocks are. Do I want to buy and use them? No I don't. There is no guarantee that Bitcoin will be used more if Valve add it to the Steam store. But it will spread more awareness within the gaming community.

The prospect of getting 'free' money by buying heavily overpriced mining equipment could skew the judgement even of very prudent people haha. I mean when the greed kicks in you don't think rationally

No I am not a radical Bitcoin supporter who thinks everything else like fiat is pure evil and needs to be eradicated from the face of the Earth. I am just a liberal guy who just tries to balance the advantages and disadvantages of every currency be it digital or not.

What about 'Digital currencies and how they improve the economic status of developing countries around the world'. I have read a couple of articles about Bitcoin getting a widespread adoption in emerging countries and find it pretty interesting.
