921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becoming centrally planned: Communist on: January 26, 2016, 08:53:27 PM
But communism usually means the wealth is spread evenly among the population while capitalism usually involves a closed circle of people controlling the wealth of a nation.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: European Union Wants to Surveil not Regulate Bitcoin on: January 26, 2016, 07:22:14 PM
Bitcoin is notorious for its use in money laundering purchasing illegal drugs and guns but it's not its fault. The people are to blame for this they should regulate the people not the virtual currencies.

924  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened to the flow of new topics here? on: January 26, 2016, 05:18:19 PM
I think after the Halving or a fork this subforum will be alive with new threads because every major change spurs new economic situations people like to talk about.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: Will EU regulations on BTC change? on: January 26, 2016, 05:11:38 PM
I hope there will be no regulation on Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general. Regulation means more taxes being imposed on us.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we earn bitcoin by Torrent seeding ? on: January 26, 2016, 05:07:29 PM
Some uploaders accept donations in bitcoins. If the torrent is of a great value to you just consider donating. You can earn some coins uploading TV series or other media.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much decentralization is "enough?" on: January 26, 2016, 05:04:05 PM
If there is a close circle of developers who decide what direction Bitcoin is heading to I think it's more centralized than decentralized.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great news 4 European Bitcoiners on: January 26, 2016, 09:28:34 AM
Well the politicians will just stay away for now but if the prices go above $1000 they will want to regulate cryptos to make us pay taxes.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How China's Plans to Launch Its Own Currency Might Affect Bitcoin on: January 26, 2016, 09:23:48 AM
The Chinese banks maybe want to have a better control over the currency so they are going to improve the digital transactions makes sense to me.
930  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: January 26, 2016, 09:21:13 AM
I read in an article yesterday that some guy in Finland bought a new Tesla car for 140k euros paid in bitcoins. Just makes you save up more every day and chase your dreams.
931  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: some faucet website are racist on: January 24, 2016, 10:42:23 AM
Is this really a thing? I thought everyone gets the same rewards at the faucets regardless of what country they are connecting from.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The average user just want's Bitcoin to work!!!!! on: January 24, 2016, 10:38:58 AM
I am just an average user of Bitcoin. I may not know every intricate thing about the crypto currency but I expect my transactions at the coffee shop to confirm in under 10 minutes.
933  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: January 24, 2016, 07:38:06 AM
I am anxious to rely only on bitcoins at the moment the price is very unstable and with your regular job you get a stable income you can be sure of.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Comes First: Block Size or Halving? on: January 24, 2016, 07:24:00 AM
I think we will get first the halving and then the block size adjustment will follow. I hope these events will cause the price to increase Smiley
935  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HELP My Coins were just STOLEN FROM CRYPTSY!! on: January 24, 2016, 07:19:36 AM
By the way has anyone provided any information to the whereabouts of the hacker? If the coins are returned then maybe the people will get their balances back.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgo's opinion on: January 24, 2016, 07:13:51 AM
I may need to move my coins to a BitGo wallet because of their Instant feature which looks very promising.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Online ELECTRONICS store that accept bitcoins on: January 23, 2016, 07:36:16 PM

didn't know this, must be somethign recent, but do they ship everything? or just limited to some items

Overstock sell to Europe too. You just have to contend with paying tax, vast shipping costs and waiting forever. I really can't believe Newegg could possibly be cheaper considering how much choice there is in Europe.

I have always found Overstock prices to be the most expensive ever when browsing through the online bitcoin stores. Yes they ship to everywhere but the prices are just offputting.
938  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Auction Site - New, but needed service. on: January 23, 2016, 02:48:36 PM
The interface looks clear and user-friendly and looks like you are using a free WeBid auction script and I think it would be better if you customize that with your own brand name. Also the auctions and users and clock on the top right corner would be better in black letters.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: January 23, 2016, 01:07:52 PM
If there is no major crash incoming this is the perfect moment to buy some coins when the price is sub-$400. I don't think it's possible to go back down to $300 isn't it?
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia joins North Korea - blocks bitcoin exchanges on: January 23, 2016, 08:13:41 AM
What does Russia have to lose by letting their people use Bitcoin? They have no reason to ban exchanges.

The Russian government wants to exert control over their citizens. Allowing them to have a financial freedom in the form of anonymous Bitcoin is a threat.
