If I need to explain bitcoins to friends I would first show them a quick video on what bitcoin is and what they can do with it and then run them through the official bitcoin site to pick up a wallet of their choosing and then I would gift them a paper wallet with some bitcoins on it.

Friends
Prepare for a new dark age. Today the JPY trades at 117 which is a signal we are in for a big big crash.
The era of the USA is finally over. Soon the western world will self destruct and we will enter a new dark age.
The future is here. AS western civilization self destructs over the coming weeks and months let us be thankful we are alive and have each other to keep our positive momentum going.
Maybe this could become another strong moment where btc gain value and popularity among users... Why trust a "bank" that print money and limit you account ?I think we are entering in a new age, where btc could be one of strongest tool for this time. that's exactly what i ask it to myself everyday , along the ages, there is something in people that makes them forget, never learn and try to build something better...let's hope that this time, is the time for the change with our lovely tool, the bitcoin. Maybe because bitcoin is fucking useless Can you buy your groceries with btc? Pay your taxes? Repair your car? Buy your clothes? Because I can't. Not even talking about the fact that I'm not paid in btc so I HAVE TO go through a bank... My god. Haven't you THOUGHT to look up decent btc debit cards, such as Bit-X? In case you haven't, I recommend you look that up. Crying out crisis is no way to do it until someone looks up all the options. Maybe you weren't informed of such debit cards? Is there any monthly maintenance fee for the debit card and can it be used with local ATMs to withdraw your bitcoin balance into cash? I tried looking for a FAQ on their site but couldn't find any.

I am not from the area but your post made me curious and I would like to ask if you don't mind do you want these snails for sale to restaurants or you will do photoshoots with them for magazines? I am pretty much astonished there is a market for that kind of thing

Do you know any service sites like Fiverr that pay you in bitcoins for doing micro jobs and you don't have to wait till the end of the month?

I have used Mycelium on my Android tablet and Copay on my Microsoft Lumia phone and both are working great. On the browser I have used the Blockchain wallet which is newcomers friendly.

Are there any mobile solutions for encrypting and decrypting PGP messages or you need to open browsers and pasting the strings in them? I was looking into that Telegram app the other day. Has anyone used it?

I am wondering if there is a list with all the countries where you need a little bit of money to live very well. You could buy a vacation house for example and enjoy yourself for quite some time every year.
I don't know if live could be that great. After a while the locals will know who the owner of this house is. A foreigner with money! The people will beg you for a bit of money as soon as you start to go out in the streets. When you're gone they will break into your house and steal everything which could be useful. Yes this is a likely situation but I was thinking more about a small not luxurious villa or a bungalow where you could spend some time in the summer. Obviously one would spend his/her time with outdoor activities and exploring the country. This is simply to offset the cost living in a hotel for example.

It's a magnet for scammers and thieves because it's very easy to be loaned out to people and unlike other financial instruments the transactions are irrevocable so most of the time people take it and off to the woods.

I am reading this kind of news nowadays with a big grain of salt because last year I think the specialists on Wall Street said bitcoins would be $5000 by the end of the year and whatnot.

I am interested in H1Z1 because it's like 50% off right now till January 4th. Any chance to get that?

I don't think bitcoins will sky rocket to $10 000 more likely to be around $300 by the end of the year again.

So Human Resources your 'Campaign managers' are nitpicking on peoples' post quality while you are endorsing a massive link spam yourself? Hypocrisy much?

I don't know about bitcoins plural, but there are certainly better ways to earn some decent satoshi without clicking 1,000,000 captchas.
1.Bitcoin surveys Get paid to fill out boring surveys, listen to music or videos or signup for offers eg. bitcoinget.com, ninjaclix.com 2.Social Post whatever and get paid when people upvote it eg. sato.sh
I guess any other way I can think of to get free bitcoins would be painfully slow, or would cost money... so not so free
Good luck finding your coins!
Really there are bitcoin surveys now? But bitcoin is built around anonymity and surveys in general ask for a lot of personal information right?
