1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 card rx 580 rig only shows 4 cards. any idea's on: December 24, 2017, 08:35:13 PM
Can you not give us some more info? What setup are you running? What PSU do you have and he are they connected? You are using powered risers? What sort of voltage are you passing through your gpus? Are they OC? Under volted? Are you 100% sure they all running the same drivers? Same brand of gpu? Give us some more info and maybe someone can help you out better.
1083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in a Bitcoin Bubble on: December 24, 2017, 08:26:23 PM
Stop shitposting noon people talk about this bubble nonesense so often. There is no such thing as a bubble.

Yes we are in a bubble and sometimes it burst, but we will recover soon
If we are indeed in a bubble right now - then I am afraid that Bitcoin might not recover that easily and might be crippled forever.
Ther problem with Bitcoin is fact that we will never know for sure what is going on as the value is based purely on people's view and demand for BTC.
Anyway, follow the twitter of that guy from the Op's posts - apparently he is giving out 0.0002 BTC to everyone Smiley

Well in that case your life expectancy s a bubble too so then why worry about bubbles? Talking like bubbles is what people with their heads n the clouds talk about.

If you start talking about bubbles and are so afraid then just give up and sell all your bitcoins.
1084  Economy / Gambling / Re: New-old-best gambling sites on: December 24, 2017, 07:09:42 PM
Yolodice is a nice place to gamble. There is a very active community and friendly too. All the features you want are there and low withdraw fee because you can choose to have your withdraw done as a batch along with other players. Your account can level up giving you all sorts of benefits and customizable options. Please have a look and give Yolodice a try. Smiley
1085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we have a game similar to Slither.io ? on: December 24, 2017, 06:45:08 PM
I have played that game. It is fun. It would be nice to have a faucet based game with micro transactions. Thought now bitcoin fees are so high it would kill that idea so a better one would be to use an altcoin or better yet the game uses it's own coin. You can have cheaper and more expensive games or even private ones. People could even vote and take bets and make wages for and against players. You would "buy in" when you begin playing by paying for each life and that would go to the pot and a certain % for the site.
1086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen $20 withdrawal fee on: December 24, 2017, 06:38:58 PM
I still wonder how people Gamble unless they whales. It's $20 to deposit for fees and the same to withdraw s you behind $40 already. You have to make $40 profit just to break even. That just increases your chances of going bust and not enjoying yourself. I think it's why many casinos are be offering altcoins as a play option.
1087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think crypto "banks" will emerge someday? on: December 23, 2017, 11:54:20 PM
Of course they will. Even Coinbase and similar sites are already acting essentially as banks (but without the legal guarantees). They keep your private keys for you and provide the paper trail, in exchange for convenience.

When it comes to the financial world, if there is demand for the service somebody will build it (and charge you for it) Smiley

What the hell are you talking about? They own your bitcon then. That's a load of rubbish you talking.

I always have this fear of loss, hacks, amnesia ffs. Those worst case scenarios where you have nothing that connects you to your crypto if something happened. In life, if something like amnesia occurred, I would have a paper trail that would say "hey you have a bank account in your name at this bank" or you have an eTrade account with $200,000 in stock in your name". I would have identifications that are within my reach to get. So worst case scenario, even if I lost my memory in some weird accident, protocols would connect me to my money regardless.

So I wonder if there will be a crypto version of these trails. I understand people love the aspect of anonymity with Bitcoin, but it's not like I'm doing anything shady with my money, or don't plan on paying taxes, so I'm more concerned about always having access to money I've stored under any type of circumstance.

You already have access to your Bitcoin at anytime if you in your privatekey. Are you sure you understand how bitcoin works?
1088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CPU+GPU mining (xmr-stak) on: December 23, 2017, 11:48:50 PM
Why would you want to country mine anyway? Yes you can use could and you together. Just run the miner twice and one set to cpu and the other cpu. If you want the easy way then look at minersgate there you can mne many different coins with both gpu and cpu.

I don't understand why you worried about mining with 1 little cpu on a mining rig or why that could be stopping you from buying gpus.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: December 23, 2017, 11:43:58 PM
Yes of course it will. If not Bitcoin then another crypto currency but one that bg is for sure, a digital currency will replace traditional money or do you expect to use paper forever? People are so silly. xP

Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?
I'm afraid that will happen. Maybe not in the near future. For me, on my own opinion bitcoin can be use as an asset and not a replacement for Fiat money. Besides bitcoin is not legal yet and still many people or community that has no access on the internet where bitcoin technology.

Bitcoin is legal what on Earth are you saying? A community without internet won't be able to do banking transactions either.....

1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: EU decided to outlaw anonymous cryptocurrency transactions on: December 23, 2017, 11:38:05 PM
It's always the low rank accounts that post this FUD crap. Wow do your you believe everything you read online? If s you must believe in many things.

I doubt such a news. It won't be easy to monitor the cryptocurrency world. Is near impossibility. Anonymous coins like monero is hard to trace and even Bitcoin is very difficult to identify owner of a specific transactions even if you are able to track it on the blockchain.

Also why would they gave so much control to exchanges. They not owned by anyone important just an ordinary person. The speak as if officials run exchanges. Doing this wuod make it very easy for scammers to get whatever for they wanted from anyone. People that believe this sort of news are incredibly stupid.
1091  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: If I lost my 24-word phrase for ledger nano s on: December 23, 2017, 11:08:06 PM
Yes you wuod be doomed. Always keep the Private key in as many places as you can. Don't even think if risking using any wallet you don't own the key for. It's simply not worth it. The amount of headache and heart ache you will go through can all be mitigated so long as you keep your key around. So lease please keep multiple copies and make them physical copies because they the best and can be kept offline entirely.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bittrex 0.001 btc withdraw fee -- about 19 usd on: December 23, 2017, 10:22:39 PM
0.001 btc has been the going rate for a long time now. 0.001btc was not so bad before but now with the rise in the price of bitcoin it is too much. One of bitcoins main selling points was the fact that it was very cheap/free and very fast some even calling it instant. We now know that is not the case. I really wish and hope this is sorted out I miss making transactions and I need to pay for things. With the current fees I will only ever buy things in bulk.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chainalysis software for nabbing Tax evaders on: December 23, 2017, 08:53:46 PM
I think it'll be about as effective as alcohol prohibition laws of the early 20th century.

Exactly. It's like trying to catch an eagle with a butterfly net ^^ It would be the most ineffective thing ever and I don't even believe the IRS is doing this I think it's just talk.

IRS contracted to use Chainalysis software for nabbing Tax evaders if they don't pay their fairshare to tax payers fund. Any idea on Chainalaysis tool? Any links for IRS guidelines for filing taxes in US?

there are no reliable chain analysis techniques or software that anyone can use to prove anything. that is how bitcoin is designed.

besides the cost of using something like that and then cost of proving anything is a lot more than simply contacting exchanges like Coinbase and asking them to release their customer information to IRS

.... wait a minute IRS and Coinbase are already doing that Cheesy

Yep that's why I say it's just talk. Whoever said that didn't think very much because it's not possible even.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The wedding that bet on Bitcoin on: December 23, 2017, 08:48:51 PM
What do you mean marry using bitcoin? They asked for Bitcoin as a wedding present.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe the HYPE! BTC trans. confirmed in 22 minutes, BCH took 3 HOURS!!! on: December 23, 2017, 08:47:37 PM
Well thank God I took the extra precautions as recommended and emptied my wallet out. Sold my BCH at 0.21btc. happy with that.
500 Satoshi/byte is still very expensive but you have proved it is getting better and that BCH is not the answer. I honestly don't know what is gong to be done about these huge transfer fees problem.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: December 23, 2017, 08:38:49 PM
Why should we bother to explain that bitcoin is bit a pyramid to people like that anyway? If they don't believe they don't believe, let them think what they want and leave them behind with their fiat and useless investments if they even have any. If you really want to show them it is not a pyramid scheme all you do is tell them to look up the very definition of the word.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin did NOT work for 200.000USD transfer on: December 23, 2017, 01:01:07 AM
Clever enough to criticize bitcoin and clever enough to make $200k yet bot clever enough to realize that 200k might go down for a while but it will go back u way past that.

Also if you want the actual value of bitcoin at the time of transaction you can use a payment processor like bitpay. It's not rocket science and I would be ashamed and feel stupid if I had 200k but didn't know what a payment processor was. I mean holy crap they should know better.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✨✨✨ The Reason We Use Money ✨✨✨ on: December 22, 2017, 10:12:48 PM
Omfg you really are clueless aren't you? This reminds me of the same people who say buying high powered sports cars is a waste because you could have fed so many families with that money. Lol wow. Did you ever think of all the jobs Bitcoin mining has created? Mining machines are made from resources which cones from factories where people work and see employed so they can feed there family making tin and other metaos needed for mining rigs. Then we have the software Devs who make money designing how the mining rigs work. Then we get the miners themselves the people who out the rigs together, the Courier when we spoke paid to deliver it.

How is creating jobs a waste of resources? He eose do you think transactions will be processed? Do you think you'll ur bank hasn't got their own servers that use electricity too? Or do you think banks are magical things that have transactions handled by floating pixies. It is all relative.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: December 22, 2017, 09:58:29 PM
Another problem is people think that high fees = more btc to make for miners but it doesn't. Yes you will make more per transaction but if you only solving 5 per day for 30% of it's total value when you could be solving 50 per day at only 5% of it's value. We need more transactions with lower fees gong through this will benefit miners and users.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Hack Who wants to get rich? on: December 21, 2017, 02:48:13 PM
Well I don't really understand the video or what they talking about I find it hard to believe you can just hack wallets. That sounds like fear mongering. Where are all these supposed hacked wallets? If these guys can hack why would they share this info and rather hack themselves? Also how the hell can you be selling Bitcoin for under the market value. 20% under? Something is definitely wrong.
