1101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First bull run - how to not sell too early? on: October 23, 2023, 10:52:29 AM
Any advice or individual plan when it comes to selling in bull run?
My advise is for you to make analysis of when to sell. I think bitcoin may first face the first resistance at $100000. But it might go higher if the price continue to hit $100000 over and over. I am expecting more than $100000 though.

But nobody can know what the all-time-high of bitcoin can be and which means no one can answer you accurately.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KCGI. What next? on: October 23, 2023, 10:47:28 AM
In full meaning, it is called King's Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), sponsored by Bitget exchange.

I am not a Bitget user and I was not attracted enough to join.

The reason I do not join something like this is because I believe more in the money that I make from trading myself, instead of depending on what may never be mine.
1103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Reward for a Trading Mentor on: October 23, 2023, 10:17:36 AM
Mate, are you are this is not a bad idea. Having more than 1 mentor will be demanding and distracting. 3 good traders have different strategies and one person learn from 3 different experts as mentors will be distracting. At a point you may not know whose strategy to apply and whose to ignore.

I will advise he have one mentor and use the forum advice to augment, things will be fine.
No you do not understand me. Let me quote myself:

If you are looking for a mentor, you may look for like three good traders that can mentor you....You can then price it to see what would happen. Go for only one mentor with a better price.

You should be able to understand now.

All I meant is if he wants to go for mentoring, he can go if he wishes for it, but he should not just go directly to one mentor but to like three mentors and go for the one with the low services fee, but still the among the ones he know to be the best. He can know how good they are from their trading history page which they will show him.
1104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 31 days later.. Testing own strategy on: October 23, 2023, 07:33:10 AM
There were several interesting comments, with some people saying it's a good return for spot trading, while others felt it's a very low return due to the high risk and volatility in the cryptocurrency market. Some mentioned that for a small capital, it might not be worth the effort for such a small gain. I'd like to address some of the points that came up in the post.
20% annual profit is good, it is better than losses. If you are trading, as you are increasing your risks, you are increasing the probability of you to lose. With low amount of money, likely you may want to use leverage which is riskier. It is good to go slow in trading than thinking big that can result to losses.

**Risk Management:**
The strategy divided my capital, and the  involves making multiple purchases as the price drops, averaging the cost, and selling when a certain profit-taking level is reached. In the Google Sheet I'll share, there's a sheet defining the risk and why I consider it a medium-to-low risk strategy.
Indicators has not be helpful for me like this but averaging has helped me to later make profit in the opened position that I was losing before, but because I started small and average it as the price against me, I later won big. But this is also risky if not done carefully.

Strategies and price analyses are the most important part of trading.
1105  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Low trading fee on MEXC on: October 23, 2023, 07:18:18 AM
This has been the case for some time now and according to this[1], it is a promotional offer. It's difficult to say when they're going to bring the fees back, but many exchanges have done that in the past to attract users, I highly doubt they would keep it this way forever.

[1] https://support.mexc.com/hc/en-001/articles/17101730313113--MEXC-Mega-Offer-Zero-Fee-Spot-Trading-
That link is about the MEXC spot market, what about the future trading fee? I think 0% for market makers and 0.01% for market takers is still very low. Is this how it has been or the exchange is also having a promotional offer for future trading fee which makes it this considerably low?

I think I like the exchange but the only thing I wish the exchange could have is multiasset mode or a unified trading account, but which some trader will not like though as they see opening position with multiple currencies to be risky. To open a position with a single currency, I think the exchange would be good.
1106  Economy / Exchanges / Low trading fee on MEXC on: October 23, 2023, 07:09:03 AM
I like to use many exchanges instead of depending on one, I decided to try MEXC recently to know how it is because I know it is an exchange people can still use without KYC to some level and because it is one if the leading exchanges. I registered and went to their trading fee and I was surprised with what I saw. The trading fee has been the lowest that I have seen on exchanges.

The trading fee in the spot market for all trading pair is 0% for both markers and takers.
The trading fee in the future market is 0% for makers and 0.01% for takers I'm for this USDT-M and Coin-M

Is this kind of promotional offer?

If not because it is a good exchange, I would have thought that I should not accept what seems to be too good to be true. But their withdrawal fee is kind of high. I still prefer OKX withdraw fee among all the exchanges that I am using.
1107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade Medex on: October 22, 2023, 10:45:05 AM
I do not know the reason some people will not go for the trustworthy sites that are very common but instead prefer to go for sites that their domain has just been created not quite long and that are for scammers.

If it is because the fake or scam exchanges are using something related to reward to lure people, it should be known that people should avoid too good to be true tactics of the scammers.

If true that this happened, sorry for your friend.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 09:30:56 AM
Just in case, what amount will be looking like a nice hit for you to leave a casino just immediately for maybe your first, second or third hit on the machine as you have just walked in?
I make use of online casinos which can be more addicting which is one of the things that I put in mind. If it is $1 that I used at first and won like $3, I stopped for that day. I can do that with $2 next. Then with $3 next. Then with $4 to $10 which would be my last game. That is if I do not want to lose. But if it is for fun, I use low amount of money to continue playing regardless if I gain or lose.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 09:23:34 AM
Yesterday, I booked a bet, but, fine if difficult to stake, because I thought the game was going to be lost. But here it is I won the best. I stake the bet at $0.13, and I won $49 in total. I have gotten several winnings in the past week, but I would like to say that I didn't expect the game to play accordingly the way I predicted it. Why? Because I haven't bet on the same predictions throughout all the games before, but yesterday I did it. That's why I said I didn't expect to win the game.
But according to the gamblers that I have known, including myself in the past, as you win this games, you may be thinking to increase the money that you are using to stake, do not do that, just continue to play with low amount of money as you are doing it now. Congrats, you are a good gambler for betting as low as $0.13 on accumulated matches.
1110  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Binance really the most liquid crypto-futures platform? on: October 21, 2023, 10:09:26 PM
I have made use of OKX and Bybit very well and I like their derivative trading. If it is volume, my trades are often filled fast also in spot market, not only in future market.

The only reason I use Binance more is the trading fee which is lower.

I have used Kucoin before and it was also good. I do not really like their trading fee. I have also used HTX and it was also good but I do not like the trading fee.

I was addicted to Bybit but their trading fee is a bit higher than Binance. Aside that, it is a good exchange for me. Also OKX which I used very well last year was excellent. It even has low withdrawal fee than Binance.

I hate Binance because the exchange is too centralized and encouraging their customers to use BEP20 network. If you deposited BEP20 token, it is very fast for you to move it to your derivative market account, but if you deposit other coin, it will take many minutes if not up to almost one hours sometimes for some coins. I remember when I deposited USDT on arbitrum network on Binance, it mire than 20 minutes before I was able to move it on my future account there, unlike on Bybit which is faster.

About the fee, Binance will soon unlist BUSD, and the fee will increased as people will only use USDT trading pairs, although still slightly cheaper than on most exchanges. Without the fee, I would have left Binance since long time ago.
1111  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it possible to convert BTC to other alt coins inside trust wallet directly ? on: October 21, 2023, 05:07:22 AM
You should be able to convert bitcoin to other coins on trust wallet. I saw this when I clicked on swap but I do not know if it will work or not:

But what I know is that you can swap between tokens and their coin that have the blockchain. Example is that you can swap between ERC20 tokens or ether.

I am not still sure if swapping with bitcoin would work because bitcoin is not having any token but which I think some developers are working on due to taproot that makes it possible.
1112  Economy / Reputation / Re: Recently woke up asking for a loan on: October 20, 2023, 08:51:10 PM
I won't say that it's a 100% or definitely scam attempt, but it seems so suspicious.
It is 100% scam.

He has no merit in the last 120 days and he has no campaign.

Thank you for this. Some of them can put on signature and avatar of a campaign to deceive, but I expected loaners will first look at the spreadsheet of the campaign before borrowing anyone loan.

The only reason a loaner can borrow him the money is if he has collateral like altcoins. People can easily convert altcoins now and not likely what would happen.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 20, 2023, 03:02:20 PM
Bitcoin price has been in a range between $25K and $32K since March 2023, which is 7 months as posting. Hopefully that's something we can all agree on!

When do you think price will break-out of this range (see poll above)? What direction do you think price will break-out in (up or down)?
No one can answer that. If anyone gets it correctly, it is just a guess.

Bears were confident that $25K would break as support twice over and were wrong. Bulls were confident that $32K would break as resistance and were wrong. Likely the bulls will be wrong again.
I am more of the bears as bitcoin increased to $30000 in this past, but it is confusing right now. But I think if bitcoin spot ETF is not approved, this may not change.

I am still expecting $25000 again but I do not know yet until I see what happens in the next 2 to 5 days.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 20, 2023, 09:15:40 AM
Will you go ahead and provide them all they require from you for account verification, so they can process your withdrawal request, or will you willingly forfeit such amount of money back to the casino on the account that your private information is more expensive than that amount of money you have own from them?
I like going for reputable sites. If I win $70000, I do not care about KYC but the money won and I will do KYC immediately. What can be the problem is for the gambling site not to be capable of paying the money, it can not be a scam site that will sell people's KYC to other people to use. Also in reputed sites that you have use KYC to verify before, not that they are better because any site can misuse customers KYC.
1115  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.com to re-enable EUR deposits/withdrawals on: October 20, 2023, 07:05:07 AM
How exactly it became much easier? From what I understand, these new partners will replace Paysafe who was a payment gateway for them and as far as I know, they didn't have anything to do with Binance debit card.
Sorry that I quote you, but I want to understand something, I am not from Europe. Without the euro deposit and withdrawal, but people in the countries that spend euro can still make use of P2P to transfer euro and crypto within themselves using the Binance exchange? If that is possible, I do not know what people just like about these third-party payment gateways when Binance itself is third-party. Also if not possible on centralized exchange, it is possible on decentralized exchanges.
1116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stay away from this ( scam allert for arbitrage traders) on: October 20, 2023, 06:12:41 AM
In the future, any claim like 20% gains in a day is just too good to be true and a scam.
20% ROI in a day is possible in trading, but that does not mean it is possible everyday. In risky trading like that, a day of significant loss would come and the net profit would still be of significant loss. I mean if someone is not following the ways of the scammers by being the victim. I noticed that some sites and impersonating scammers are using promising ROI to look for victims and everything they are saying are not real but fake in a way to scam.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 19, 2023, 06:01:27 PM
If gambling ads are banned and kids do not see such a thing, this will reduce the way kids are gambling. In my country as an example, there are gambling ads everywhere, on YouTube and TV channels, in a way kids can easily know that they can go online to gamble. It is true that gambling is in the mind of humans naturally, but the explanation of the kids that you explained is different from the land based and online gambling because there is nio way that can lead to addiction.
1118  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin’s long-term investors own over 76% of all BTC for the first time on: October 19, 2023, 01:41:39 PM
This is according to Glassnode and I saw it on the news

https://www.tradingview.com/news/cointelegraph:b63b789df094b:0-hodling-hard-bitcoin-s-long-term-investors-own-over-76-of-all-btc-for-the-first-time/
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-long-term-investors-own-76-percent-btc

If people are not selling 76% of bitcoin that are in circulation, it means people are holding it and you know what this could mean for the next halving and the approval of spot bitcoin ETF by the US SEC.

HODL
1119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: October 19, 2023, 01:36:04 PM
From various sequences of problems and many aspects that can be associated, I become doubtful with the price development of Bitcoin which in the event of this war is enlarged, so as usual Bitcoin will experience a price decline, even though we know it is not just bitcoin that will be a victim of this conflict happen.

I do not mean to frighten or make FUD, I just want to discuss to share thoughts, but for an bitcoin intelligent investor, how do you respond to conflicts that have probability to suppress Bitcoin prices?
I wish for no war but what if there is war, what makes you think that the price of bitcoin will fall?

Some people will always see something to say about the price of bitcoin not to rise. It is good for you not to think like that because the bull run period is very near. Buy and hold bitcoin is my advise. People should not think about any war but think that the price of bitcoin will increase. I have started to DCA and if the price of bitcoin does not fall below $20000 again, I will buy more bitcoin some weeks to halving.

Some people are saying there is possibility that third world war has begun, but which I will not believe for it not to affect my bitcoin investment.

Bitcoin’s long-term investors own over 76% of all BTC for the first time
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 19, 2023, 11:47:50 AM
The most important thing is to have a gambling budget. If you have gambling budget, you will know the percentage of money that you put into gambling. I for example, I use not more than 5% of my weekly income to gamble and it can not be more than that.

If I win, I stop for the day, even if the amount won is small.

If I lose and getting up to my weekly gambling budget, I quit gambling for that day.

These are what I have been doing and they have helped me to have a good gambling habit.
