181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right to advice other people against gambling for personal reasons like?? on: April 06, 2024, 03:07:10 PM
Do you guys think it's OK to advice other gamblers to quit gambling simply because of your own bad experience, does your bad experience mean that every other gambler out there will also have the same bad experience?
I will like some really useful discussions around this topic.
I will prefer to let people know not to use high amount of money to gamble. But if they continue to gamble and spending more than they expected on gambling in a way they can not control it, they should just quit for gambling not to affect them in a bad way. Gambling addiction is not good at all and it is what that I against.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 06, 2024, 03:01:30 PM
Then, why not create a platform for predicting the performance of any cryptocurrency or a platform for predicting future trends in the market or both?
There are prediction sites for cryptocurrencies but do not believe in all what you see and know that nobody knows the future. In prediction, there are inaccuracies. When Luna for example was launched, many of the sites predicted good future for the coins, but you can see how Luna and UST users lost money. You will see many of the coin developers paying to promote their coins and they will not mind if investors later lose.
183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Martingale strategy With Stop Loss on: April 06, 2024, 10:56:00 AM
Martingale strategy is very risky. You may be a scalper and start trading, the more you increase the leverage as you are losing which is the martingale strategy, the more will be the losses if the coin you are trading is still going against your position. Although, it is true that if you increase the money and enter when losing, the price to start making profit will be closer but it is very dangerous. But if you can start it with a very low amount of money and still using your money to get closer to the mark price, it is better as it will make the liquidation price not closer but still also as profitable as it can be, also as the lose as it can be.
184  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just another gambling addict story. on: April 06, 2024, 07:03:51 AM
Do you guys have other solutions to this kind of problem? Because that's all I can think of. He will probably lay low for a month or two but he will be back to gambling again.
He said if his mother do not pay the money that he is going to kill himself. I think this is more than an addiction but the child is very wicked. His parent should try send him to rehabilitation center but I do not think this kind of children may want to listen. If he listens, that is the best thing to help him with. His parent should explain everything he did shared they got to the rehab center.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: April 05, 2024, 10:25:04 PM
What is your opinion towards my research that online casino gambling has more of possesed players who stakes to make profits while the land base gambling is more of players who stakes for funs?
Land based casinos are more fun but where is your research report? We need to know the methodology and the how it is done and the number of people you used for the research and which countries they are from and if they are truly people that are gambling. If you can not provide all that but just come up with something like this, you are saying rubbish.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you consider yourself, the family and gambling? on: April 05, 2024, 06:53:25 PM
1. At what age will you allow your child to start gambling? that is if you will even allow for that at all?
2. At what age do you see yourself quit gambling? that is also if some of us are going to ever do so?
3. Ever since you have started gambling, have you ever achieve a satisfying level that makes you think it has good impact on you?
4. Would you have missed out on anything if you were not a gambler?
1. At 18 when he has the adult right. But I will always advice him or her about how dangerous gambling can be.
2. I can not quit gambling. As long as my brain can function good, I will continue to gamble.
3.  It has bad impact on me when I was addicted. But I am no more addicted and I like to gamble.
4. Gambling is not a necessity.
187  Other / Meta / Re: Is gambling problem or anything related to addiction is an off-topic? on: April 05, 2024, 02:38:00 PM
It is possible that some moderators are bored already as they see more topics to be about gambling discussion. But in my opinion, I think gambling addiction threads should be on gambling discussion. It is one if the benefits we have on the gambling discussion board for people to avoid gambling addiction.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Exchanges with low leverage settings on: April 05, 2024, 09:48:21 AM
I have gone through major exchanges to know if I can be able to adjust the leverage in a way that I will be able to self exclude myself from high leverage for certain period of time that I wish.

Example is an exchange that has 200x leverage for bitcoin. But in a way that I can set it to 5x and not able to set it above 5x until certain period of time that I specify like 1 year. Is there an exchange that has that feature?
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 05, 2024, 09:14:52 AM
You do not need to give him this kind of advice. You can advice him about how bitcoin is a good investment and that he can invest in it, but do not take it to the level of involving his parent company. Let him be the one to make that thinking and decision by himself. If bitcoin price start falling after he invested his father company money on it, he will start to blame you, even though the price of bitcoin will later still increase above the price he started investing.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos (2) on: April 05, 2024, 08:38:20 AM
I just wanted you guys to shed some light on me about this specific topic that I created on the other forum recently so I will be having additional knowledge based on your personal experiences.
If you are not new to many casinos on this forum, I means the casinos that have their official threads on the gambling board, you have nothing to worry yourself about. We have many reputable casinos on this forum than telegram casinos that some may lead to scam. I have been using some casinos on this forum and the are excellent.

I have seen some casinos on telegram before but I have not tried any of it.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle emotions when you lose during trading. on: April 05, 2024, 08:21:27 AM
Do not overtrade and keep money management tight, if you trade spot only overtrade is unlikely to happen since you put Entry Take profit, and stop loss and  yo go not to watch and stick to the monitor all day long at least this happen to me. FInaly if you still like using leverage trading know when to take profit and know when to stop
First is that you can trade spot and overtrade. If you do not want to trade more than necessary, it comes from how discipline you are in trading and how you are not greedy.

Second is that you can decide not to use TP and SL in spot. There is also TP and SL in future trading.
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your gambling experiences shared here could serve as lessons to others on: April 05, 2024, 08:14:35 AM
Let us say I earn $200 weekly. I use $5 to gamble weekly. I call it gambling budget and it should not be more than $5, but it can be less. If I gamble more than that, I see it as irresponsible gambling habit. I have lost a lot of money in addiction before but gambling now is fun and  the little amount of money I use, make me to make better predictions. I always said that if someone do not use gambling to look for money, the person has no problem. People lose because they want to earn from gambling.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Binance/Bybit. Is that possible to hedge a futures contract with PUT option? on: April 05, 2024, 07:04:08 AM
I mean the type of hedging where the liquidation price of futures contract will be neglected if I purchase a Put option (yeap, I use leverage).
I do not really understand you and it would be good if you explain yourself better. Although I do not know much about options trading but I know that if it involves leveraging, that means it involves liquidation. In any trading that a trader uses leverage, liquidation can not be ruled out.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle emotions when you lose during trading. on: April 04, 2024, 02:37:37 PM
Overtrading is not good at all. It is bad for health and also it might lead to losses. But if a trader is good, as he is making money from trading, it will enliven him to be opening positions more often but and checking the market also more often. This is not good at all. Too much trading is not good.

One of the cause of failure in trading is too much leverage. But also the coin that we are using to trade is very important. You can be a good trader but the coin you are trading can be causing losses. Do not trade shit coins.

A trader should always know that trading is as risky as gambling. This is very important. The risk should be minimize with good strategies and also aiming for profit.
195  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much gambling can change a person and how low his mind can go. on: April 04, 2024, 07:13:10 AM
That is gambling for greedy people. It will let the family not to have trust on the gambler as he is stealing his father money to gamble. It would be good to advice the child and let him know that gambling will not just do him good if he is greedy with it and just want to win at all cost thinking gambling can bring him money. People that think like this in the past are not having good testimony about gambling. If you are not able to be using the money that you can afford to lose to gamble, then do not gamble at all.
196  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling kills the fun in these two cases on: April 03, 2024, 08:29:22 PM
Do not make gambling your only source of income or your only means of entertainment, as this will eliminate the first goal of gambling, which is pleasure.
My take on this is to not make gambling your source of income at all. Gambling is too risky to be made a source of income. People that are making it a source of income are failing as they lose more than win.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 03, 2024, 07:43:56 PM
The socialization and the entertaining environment that you will get from bricks and mortar casinos, you can not get that from online casinos. While online casinos can be easily accessed and also can help in having privacy. You can see that they have different advantages also. Bricks and mortar casino will because of this still be existing.
198  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling addiction is not about the money you could win; it's about the "win" it on: April 03, 2024, 10:44:57 AM
It doesn't matter if someone is rich or poor, we all start gambling for fun & easy profit. The stakes are different, everyone has their own limit and perception of a min bet & big win.
Rich men prefer other means of entertainment also and not depend on gambling like people that are not rich that are looking for a day to win jackpot and win huge amount of money. I can say that rich people are more sensible and avoidinf irresponsible gambling than people that are not rich.

It's not a question of how someone becomes too addicted to gambling, I think we are all addicted, so the real question is how well we are able to control it. Without control, anyone (rich or poor) can lose everything they have and get into debt on top of that.
You are right. But non rich people gamble to make money and that makes rich people to be different because they do not look for money from gambling the way people that are not rich are looking for money.
199  Other / Meta / Re: Can moderators edit a users post? on: April 03, 2024, 07:22:03 AM
I see a lot of unproductive, nonconstructive replies here.  Now that EFS has answered the question at hand, perhaps OP could lock the thread?
That is what that should be done. OP supoose to lock this thread because his question has been answered and it is a staff that perfectly answered it. I do not think anyone will post on this thread again but some people will just want to post to have enough posts for the campaign they are posting for and start repeating what that has been posted before but which is annoying.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your latest big win from gambling? on: April 03, 2024, 06:48:52 AM
I really want to know how you do feel after your latest big win. Do you increase your betting stake with mindset( if I lose it’s not my hard earned money) or will you maintain your staking status quo.
I do not increase my staking if I win big. I continue to play as usual with small amount of money, or going in all in all at ones if I do not have time during the week, but with still small amount of money like $5 to $25. I feel good if I win big but because I bet with small amount of money and because I am going for just little odds, my winnings are not big. But if I win big, I will not use the money to gamble at all but use it for something else.
