1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 22, 2012, 02:38:59 PM
This thing is fixed.

Lies. Care to bet that it's fixed since you're so sure? I'm sure I'll win. How's 10,000BTC?

ROFL

Why don't we just whip out our dicks and have a sword fight?

(And what a stupid response to begin with......as if there is any objective way to bet on whether another bet is fixed)

Jesum.....have any of you bettors really thought this through?

Don't you think a guy willing to put up $100,000 with 2:1 just MIGHT know something you don't?

Alarm bells are ringing.

interesting question is where who will be the insurance for this MNW bet?

I think it is pretty clear MNW thinks/knows there is no way he loses the bet.  It has the appearance that he is taking risk, when in fact he is not.

Its like the guy betting huge on a fixed boxing match.  He might look like a risk taker to a uninformed bystander, but in reality he is anything but.

This thing is fixed.

You must fold at every bluff, I reckon. Grin

Hardly.  Poker does not have the element of someone else knowing any more than you (excluding a cheat).  The information is symetric.

Here it is 180 flipped degrees....the opportunities for asymetrical information are MYRIAD.

It's actually 1:1 (or "2 for 1") but that thought has crossed my mind as well.

Ahhh, I see that now.....my bad.

My point remains the same.  Anytime someone is so eager to wager 100K, red flags should be going up everywhere.

~50 for RIG and a bit over 25 for BFLS at the moment.

Sweet....thanks for the info.

1.5 Coins
1109  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] BFLS - Bitcoin Mining & Sales on: August 22, 2012, 12:14:47 AM
Rigs dividends are paid to RIG and BFLS is paid to BFLS.

The units did not generate as much in funds last week, but it was still above PPS.  I have been turning down the GPUs that I was supplementing BLFS with slowly, but surely.

With regards to RIG, my cut comes in the form of 10% of the shares go to me for operating costs, so there's no ongoing costs as it were for the shares you own.  I just keep 10% (or 605 shares) of a RIG if I sell all the shares.  So 5453 shares go up for sale for a rig, basically, and you need 6058 to trade in for a rig.

So how many GH/s are you slinging?

1112  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] BFLS - Bitcoin Mining & Sales on: August 21, 2012, 08:08:13 PM
Whatever the rigs earn that week is divided evenly.

Ahhhh, so your cut came up front, and no ongoing expenses is subtracted from mining revenue?

How many GH/s is BFLS?

Bitlane, I have a buyer that is interested in you Pirate account.  PM Me if you are interested in selling it.

As much as I appreciate the offer, rather than use PM, I must publicly DECLINE......for 3 reasons:

1) I would be a complete douche to leverage a 3rd party and expose my risk to them.

2) I have EVERY intention of seeing this through to the bitter, agonizing end....AS I SEE FIT.....because frankly, what else would I do with my time ?

Man, love you or hate you.....

You provide endless entertainment.

Reminds me of the old saying, "sure he is an idiot, but he is our idiot dammit!"
1114  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Bitcorp Mining Company - BTCMC 60+ GH/s, clear ASIC upgrade path. on: August 21, 2012, 07:00:35 PM
Looks like we will soon be bringing on another 10+ GH/s in hashing power.

This will most likely be our last expansion until the ASIC armageddon.  We will re-assess the situation if/when the BFL ASICs hit the market.

We would like to once again gently point out to market participants the following:

BTCMC now has approximately 7 MH/s per share.
BTCMC now has approximately .45 BTC per share of cash and equipment.

If you buy a share in BTCMC anywhere in the .50 BTC range, you are essentially getting hashes for free.  Just food for thought for the individuals still paying ridiculous premiums for bonds with no claim on the underlying assets.

Looking for some clarification on the dividend per share......

1117  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] BF Singles or Fgpa mining rigs at a reasonable price on: August 21, 2012, 06:31:49 PM
I got some money to invest in mining and would like to buy up BF singles or any FGPA mining rigs at a reasonable price. PM me or reply here is you got any. Thanks!

Problem is, noone wants to sell them at a reasonable price.  Angry
define reasonable......

The floor on one single is the trade in value (599).  Add to that expected BTC/USD earnings until ASIC (roughly $400), and you arrive at a value of $999.

You expect someone to ask for less than that for what reason?  Kindness?

832Mh/s is about $3.5/day. You're putting the estimated ASIC ship time at ~4 months, or the end of the year. I think they're ship in half that time, so I put the value of each Single closer to $800.

Lot of faith in BFL you have.  Judging by their past time tables, you are being just a bit optimistic.

I will sell as many singles as you want to take down at $1,000 each.

Supposedly payments are starting to show up...in the bs&t payment thread, at least one person claims to have received his/her 4k owed bitcoins from pirate.

That was a troll......keep reading the thread.

No payments yet.
