I have around 5 or 6 BTC waiting to be paid! Btw.. WHERE can I see a summary of my income, I only see the income after each worker entry but dashboard is totally empty, no content at all.

Okay, as long as your Withdraw address is filled in (My Account, Edit Account) you will receive your coins when they are sent out. They are sent out daily. Patience.

On a side note, now time to try out the new Litecoin Pool.

I'm confused why anyone would want to use Litecoin.  It seems to be a worthless currency, and it uses CPU time, a lot of it at that, to generate them.  Why bother and use the extra electricity and heat?

M

Its more profitable to mine with a CPU then bitcoin is. Plus I don't pay for electricity, so I'm just putting my CPU to good use. I make an extra few cents a day. Smiley

Aww, you just made my litecoin node useless. Ah well, I'll leave it running anyway.

Mined 3 LTC blocks with P2Pool already in two days with only 21kH/s, good luck for the pool, bad luck for me.  Undecided

i've been taking stats over the last few weeks and my percentages are at 6.4% bonus, selling at higher prices and waiting, not just dumping

That's smart too. Are you going through GPUMax? I'm also running through GPUMax at .00004/share to maximize profits. Cheesy
1114  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [82 GH/s] Bitparking Pool - PPS 2.5% fee - Merge Mining BTC, NMC, I0C, IXC, DVC on: May 15, 2012, 04:07:04 AM
Did some calculating, with 5000 shares you would mine here:

0.14065 BTC
287.790 DVC
17.4952 I0C
6.52840 IXC
0.37300 NMC

And going by the last price on Vircurex...

287.790 DVC = 0.00085 BTC
17.4952 I0C = 0.00526 BTC
6.52840 IXC = 0.00233 BTC
0.37300 NMC = 0.00298 BTC

Add that to your total BTC mined:

0.01142+
0.14065=
0.15207 BTC

Now, say your mining for 100% PPS. You would only make 0.14424123 BTC a day.

So to sum this up, even with the 2.5% fee, your still making approx. 105% Profits mining here.
Correct me if my math is wrong! Grin

I am thinking of starting a new p2pool with 2 min shares instead of 10second shares.  This should reduce all the long polling and help with a lot of issues p2pool has. This may enable FPGAs to be usable with p2pool also.  Any comments?

I'm all for it, I don't see why not. Cheesy

Hi Tittiez,
It is on my list of TODOs but I must admit I am pushing to get the groundwork done for supporting encrypted wallets so have not worked on it. Supporting encrypted wallets is long overdue so I am going to work on that (and the background work needed to support it) pretty much exclusively until it is done. Sorry.

Jim

Okay, I understand and I agree that it needs to get done.

I'm almost in despair, so I wrote to Jim and copy it here
Hope someome will help me to resolve this big trouble.

1120  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: list all pools that allow to mine with BTC-address as username and no password on: May 14, 2012, 10:06:01 AM
I don't believe P2Pmining.com sends generated coins directly, but sends normal transactions for payouts, so sending direct to an exchange shouldn't be a problem. They also merge-mine. I have not used P2Pmining.com myself, however, so I may be mistaken on a detail or two for them.

They send the merged coins directly after they go through 120 Confirms, and Bitcoins autopay out when your balance is at least .5, but you can manually pay out too.
