I think FXO can compete with PD by lowering the pay per post to match PD and then they can get more advertising
Or lowing the parcipants to let's say 15-20. But the reasons are maybe not finance.

how could it be finance? this is a huge company

It's fairly obvious what is happening with trading of this coin. There isn't any dumping happening.

Due to the volatility in (low) price, it's very feasible to quickly increase your holdings by relatively high percentages. Think of it this way: if you sell at 5 and buy back at 4, you pick up an additional 20% worth of coin. It's not about making money on trades ATM with this coin, it's about taking advantage of volatility to increase holdings. The lower the value, the higher the return. How else would anyone explain 5+ BTC orders on both sides? It's the reason Mintpal is so popular as an exchange. With high trade volume there is extremely high volatility, and those that pay enough attention can pick up small amounts of money all day long by hedging themselves and staring at the screen for changes.

Trades between 4 and 3 pick up an 33% increase, etc. The value will not increase as it is extremely profitable to trade on these low numbers. We need to do something drastic to pull the coin out of single digits.

i've always seen this "advantage" but never traded this....at the end you gamble

1126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: July 14, 2014, 07:02:25 PM
i'm pretty sure i would get slaughtered in forex. trading bitcoin has been easy for me, but lots more professionals and much higher leverage necessary in forex. in bitcoin, if i'm wrong on a long call, i can just baghold. Smiley

the only problem is that you are trading faith. there is no garantee that BTC will always rise longterm. probably bagholders wont loose in the end, but what if BTC never goes over 700 again? many people will cry
1127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: July 14, 2014, 05:55:45 PM
volatily is as high as you want....you modify it with leverage as high as 500 on some brokers
A few brokers offer 1:3000 leverage. Wink

I wouldn't trust such a broker
There is a few such as FXGlory and Instaforex that are licensed and established. I presume they allow it so that they make more from losing traders and spreads. Tongue

anyways, 500 is enough, even for a scalper
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: July 14, 2014, 03:40:00 PM
Most traders are probably between 14-16 and can't get their parents permission :p
Good ol' bitcoin.. letting people gamble and trade etc.

Right now you have to catch almost 10 US$ price difference just to break even (profits go to commision) on one buy/sell cycle.

it's about $3,50 on fxopen for me

that's 0,5%

on forex it get's as low as 0.0025% (2.5 units of base currency for 100,000 on fxopen's ecn for example)

also spread on forex get's as low as 0,01% (one pip), while in BTC you often have 0,5% spread
1131  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 14, 2014, 02:14:34 PM
also recieved again
1132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: July 14, 2014, 12:21:31 PM
Because:

Low volatility

+

High commissions

=

Less room for profit

you never traded Forex

volatily is as high as you want....you modify it with leverage as high as 500 on some brokers

commissions are wayyyy lower...it often takes minutes only to break even

How can I be assured that the BTT ID confirmation was done right?
I've got the confirmation e-mail and sent a PM to "Mac Red", but the site http://www.koracoin.com/checkbttid
gives me the same reply:

Your BTT ID was found. Make sure you have verified it too. At the moment you can do this by sending a PM to BTT user "Mac Red". Thank you.
Thanks!  Smiley

You sent me a PM so you can be assured (or if you posted in that other topic you can be assured as well). Simple as that.

@chuyengia2244
lol no, september 1 is not correct. At least not when it comes to the list of stakeholders. I'd say it's probable (but not 100% sure) the list will be made public sometime this week.

Spetember 1 is a long time for stake but can't wait for list .

if this is caused by good planning, it's a good sign

Sad news.

Was the best campaign I've ever seen.

Guess I'll take a look at the affiliate page.

at least they anounce it one week before it stops...once more proofing professionalism

so what makes a coin grow in price? is it realy feautures? or isn't it planned pumps?

i think that there are the feature promises. some dev's only give the promise. that there will be BIG features which will be implemented in the future, but most of them only are promises by itself. but the people like these promises.... there are only a few coins out there, which i trust.

so NFD is one of these. MaWo for example dont make only useless promises, he offers us real futures. i wrote alot with him, and he is really hard on developing nice things for us.

BTW there was a asking of MaWo for new features ! Not really many people replied here desired features Wink soo, offer ure wishes and they will come true  Wink

important are smart pump & dumps of NFD users too. this give us for NFD a LIVE and growing 24h volume on the exchanges, which will list us higher on the BTER frontend for example and attract more people, to get in NFD  Smiley

well, i wonder why the askside is so huuuge.....i mean, it doesn't mean nothing for the future price,...but why are people selling millions that low?
I'm buying...

buy us to 11 sats  Grin

Sounds weird alright - clearly a lot of people here were very excited about the project, and it sounds like things had been going well.

Anyway, I've managed to download the chain and extract all the distribution transactions. So keep your original private keys/wallets - those addresses will all get a LottoShares distribution. 7080 per address.

You should be able to find your address here.

https://github.com/LottoShares/lottoshares/blob/master/release/thirtypercent2.txt

I see my original address at 1703 on your list.

I have 800k Sharecoin in another wallet that I 'saved' from the exchange LOL

I don't get what he is doing....where is the [ann]?
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - The only coin backed up by a real bussiness on: July 13, 2014, 11:26:35 PM
Does anybody have the original distribution list for this coin? Was it a fair initial distribution? I'd like to make a distribution of a new coin to the users.

distribuit system was "genious".....he had a site with a form which worked automaticly by checking users id

Is the chain still live? Maybe I could pull user's addresses out of the block chain?

I'm launching a new project tomorrow and I want as wide a distribution as possible - if there's a list here that's good, it'll be good to get distribution and user's here can get a little back too.

can't help you man

junk dev and junk coin

dev was good, but dark side of the force took him
i think if his dark side wasn't appear, his exchange and coins will be success for now
he has good exchange with nice future, but he decided to "make a quick profit" by scamming us all Sad

watch out for new exchanges, maybe it's own by ziplibrary

I still don't understand why he did it

maybe he had debts or something like this
