1121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware of changing withdrawal address when using CEX on: March 15, 2023, 02:03:34 PM
Are you sure they are like that? It's been a while since I have tried Poloniex but maybe with Justin Sun being at the helm, maybe it's one of the things to do?

In other exchanges like Binance, you could have multiple withdrawal addresses as long as you verify and have the OTP correct and other authenticators needed and it could be done. Just like what others said, it might be because of unusual activity and not just based on the withdrawal itself or something.
1122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience on Bitcoin on: March 15, 2023, 01:08:17 PM
This is typically the initial reaction of those people who don't believe in it at first, even when introduced the first time. It's about time you should consider that it could rise in price somehow, which would be the best thing you would do. And if you think that, then you would only be swayed by other people for some of your different opportunities. You wouldn't regret that if you could do it consistently and know why you are doing the actions. I'd appreciate it if you could do it.

Don't get me wrong here; it will be to have a solid belief, especially if you are discussing opportunities with your money, that will continue unless something better happens. That's what happens, and you have to stay strong.
1123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Startup for Technical Indicator Alarms on: March 15, 2023, 09:10:43 AM
Good idea; in a way, one major part of your alarms would be automatically pinging. Maybe a customized ping and notification would help you identify if it's time to short or long? The specific ring could immediately give you an idea of what direction the market is going, so you would have that immediate reaction to the market ASAP.

Additionally, customization with other things with the phone would be ideal, like vibration or something like that.

I love the idea of having it customized to my liking so it would be easy to get the information.
1124  Economy / Speculation / Re: 26k mark finally breached on: March 15, 2023, 05:38:30 AM
Many people have cashed out their holdings with the recent rise in price and taking advantage of it for the short-term needs that we all have. That's where human nature reflects in the current economy, which is happening and shows in the market. This definitely feels like the old times when it was shown to us that there would be a rise in price again and it could lead us to further heights.

Hopefully, once more we are at that top that we all want. I'm not sure if it could sustain that level, but I hope we do.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Test on: March 14, 2023, 06:04:21 PM
"Little or No Indication of Gambling Addiction"

This is what I got from the test. I believe that's true for my case since I do not seek gambling any time of the day. I think it could be worse if I had continuously won in gambling and felt that profit from gambling, you know? The hook, but I failed and have a little sense of it, TBH.

Check yourself and be honest about what you are going through. In that way, you will be okay.
1126  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin pump on March 12 on: March 14, 2023, 06:23:52 AM
Now I know the reason why it has increased in price. That's a lot, and you could've made money when it was down. That's the hard part of trading and knowing when to buy and sell. You will never know what could happen in the short term, especially in the long run. Who would've expected that it would go down and immediately rise again? That's just the volatility that we are experiencing.

There is a lot of money in the market, and imagine that $1bn is just a drop, like what?? That's a lot in some countries.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 13, 2023, 05:21:14 AM
Also it was a strange race for Gasly. He was P20 but somehow climbed up so fast and nearly had fastest lap of the race if it weren't for Zhou on the very end. He ended the race P9.
The rookies didn't fair too well in this race so they need more experience on the tracks if they want to place anywhere near the top among the best.
Why was it strange? Gasly had a great race for sure. The rookies needs a good car and I hope their team could give it to them. I believe that it's more of a car thing rather than a driver thing. But of course the strategy how to handle overtaking needs experience and they don't have that much yet. Let's see.
It was Gasly who was in 20th place during the race who had managed to make up 11 places to take 9th.
That is what was strange from the former Alpha Tauri driver turned into a Ricciardo overnight. You remember how Daniel ended the season last year?
Keeps that stellar performance right for the end of the season is bad and no wonder he went to Red Bull as a backup for the top guns.
Gasly's performance out of qualifying was dead last. Remember his result after Q1? I guess not because I didn't see him getting into the place he ended up.
I understand. At least now it's at the start of the season and I hope that his stellar performance continues as he said, he already has points up the board already. With his performance, he definitely is surprised as well. At least his team could be fired up for the next GP and hopefully, they would deliver again. We will see the performance soon.
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 13, 2023, 02:32:59 AM
Suppose you accumulate everything that you have with any cases that has something to do with alcohol, and the people involved in it are intoxicated. In that case, almost everything isn't what we want to be, which will be negative. Hence, it's highly likely to be negative and a negative experience.

I tried studying intoxicated once when I was in college. I don't think I could finish the chapter we have a quiz on. I tried, but it was hard; I just wanted to sleep. But that's just me.

You could be lucky in trading, but that's what happens in anything, right? There should be luck with you. I doubt you can decide when you are drunk or something.

Well, I thought about it, but since the bets were on the current matches, the time is limited plus there was no time, it would be better if the OP gave his predictions on bets for the upcoming matches that will take place, say, during the coming week, then users will have time to analyze and maybe try.
Oof. I didn't try to check the actual matches posted. It's a fast ongoing one. There are two things to consider here.

  • If you were to bet already (current match), you would know the results of going with OP's shared bets immediately after the match.
  • If you were to bet already (upcoming match), you could add your insight

The first is time-constrained and would have an immediate result after a few hours. The other could supplement your bets or decision if you will go into it.

Yeah, OP. You should maybe try to post upcoming matches to see it and maybe add some inputs for discussion.
1130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 12, 2023, 02:59:42 PM
Many members have posted useful threads to help you decide what to get. I would add some ideas that I think haven't been posted yet.

I think you should have at least three wallets.
  • Cold wallet - this will be your main reserve or HODL wallet
  • Semi-cold wallet - Maybe use as a wallet to receive stuff that you put out to the world
  • Hot wallet - your everyday spending wallet. Ideally, the one in your smartphone

If you are a crypto enthusiast, having at least three for different reasons would be best. Mainly it will be about security, and you need to invest in a great hardware wallet. Using a suitable hot wallet in your country would be one of the best things to use.

Are you really excited to share this one? Based on your experience?

Italy 🇮🇹: serial A
Spezia vs Inter Milano away to win full-time A-2 1.40 odds
Portugal 🇵🇹: Liga 1
Porto vs Estoril home to win full-time H-1 1.20 odds
[Kazakhstan 🇰🇿: premier league
Atyrau vs Kaisar kyzylorda home win or draw full-time H-1x 1.35 odds

I think the odds are a way of a sure thing in that sense, but you can never really know until it is done. But if you are in for the thrill of it, why not?

Anybody here bet on the OP posted?
1133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think that I have discovered something new on Bitcointalk on: March 10, 2023, 05:00:12 PM
I don't think I was able to use that feature ever. All I do is click the edit button aligned with the "quote" and "delete" buttons and do it manually. It will definitely save you time and wouldn't have to load another page just when editing your post. Might have seen it in my peripherals but definitely not used with me lol.

Thanks for sharing OP.

That's not a new feature.
Click here and see a post made in 2015, where a user was talking about quick edit button.
Thanks for sharing this thread. Looks like a good read.

*Tried using the edit now when reading the thread posted by hosseinimr93, and it's cool to use.
**It seems that the hidden features thread are mostly disabled now like the "who" is online
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: March 10, 2023, 04:27:38 PM
The majority of cryptocurrencies are tied up with Bitcoin in one way or another. For sure if you are saying crypto, then you can automatically assume that it's connected to Bitcoin since it's the first one and pairs are definitely paired with it and that's how altcoins are being affected once significant price changes happen like today.

Just look at the market and you will see how deep BTC is in every cryptocurrency.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 10, 2023, 02:20:29 PM
How are you now, OP? You would've turned your 0.005 into a 40% gain if you would've just won that; sadly, that's not your day. Try again next week.

Kidding aside, you should be wary of what you will do with your funds, especially if you receive it in a casino account, because it's prone to be played upon or even the company's tactic. Kidding only; it does hint at a "wanted to be played" type of feeling.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 09, 2023, 03:10:27 PM
I think that's the marketing part. If you are in their website, they have succeeded to lure you in and they have that plan of action to keep you there. I think members like you are the ones who are smart because you read the terms and conditions first before anything else.

Better understand first what you are going to do before anything else. In my experience, I didn't know at one time in a bonus deposit made by me that you had to really play it and it just ate my first deposit. Lol
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is launching a new project during bear market a good idea?? 🤔 on: March 09, 2023, 05:21:41 AM
In general, if we are talking about just launching it, many projects have since risen in price since the bear market, and they have started during the bear market since 2017. IIRC, that's Axie Infinity, and they had boomed with their project when it became mainstream. It's just that it can't be sustained, and I had a hard time having an entry with the new players to play it. It needed to be more sustainable.

When you have done your project, you will find a sustainable way. That's what you need to be successful.
1138  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 09, 2023, 03:10:31 AM
I don't get the point of having many children. Wouldn't it be more challenging for people to do it? I think it's going to be a challenge if you have more children and be someone who will be another addition to the population that would create "needs" to have that effect on the economy.

Don't you think it will be even worse for the child? The more demand, the more it would be hard for the people in the country.

As long as the country isn't developing, the salary increase wouldn't happen. Better to have a great leader.
1139  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 08, 2023, 01:34:05 PM
Well, it's known that he created PayPal, so he would probably do something similar and integrate it with Twitter. It should be for social media only, but it seems that it's going to be more than that now. I mean, if you have that power to make it more useful I guess.

More stuff to come in the future and more revealed. Lol
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: March 07, 2023, 04:58:57 PM
If you're trying to say that the robbers were upset because they thought that Bitcoin is something tangible, then that isn't warm-hearted. Maybe they don't know how it works and base their value on BTC with rumors that it's worth a lot and probably tried to get something.

They probably expected something different, but it's just fiat inside, which is still not bad, TBH. Better than nothing.
