Thanks you bro. I understand this. But can i choise ANY coin of this list? or not?

You should be able to set it to pay out to any of the coins zpool.ca is exchanging.  However, not sure why anyone would want to unless you really believe the altcoin you want to paid out in is going to skyrocket.

The way zpool works is it that whatever coins you mine, it gets exchanged to BTC first.  If you want it to get paid in another altcoin, it would then exchange your earned BTC into the altcoin you choose to get paid in.  You're getting your earnings exchanged twice, so potential for loss in fees and it takes longer since you have to wait for each transaction to mature.
correct.  your shares are sold on market.

your BTC credit of shares come out of future coins mined instead of being sent to exchange....   Slightly complex, but simpler once you understand the circle of sales/buys the pool does.  It circles on the fact that you are sharing your credit with other miners;  can't take their credit from it unless the pool knows what it actually sells for.   Since your credit is sold and being bought from miners on the pool;  the price of sale is known and it can be then bought from the pool with your credited BTC.

hi dev

algo nist5  wrong payout .. please check ..

Wallet: CaSeBbvjHUcz6PtisWfYcKxc4tcK2NSWsU

mineing

your statement does not make sense and is contradictory.  Im not a dev, but I can help you get your problem solved quickly.

Ill try to ask a few questions to and figure this out:

What coin are you trying to get paid in?   NIST5 is an algo;  there are 4 coins under that algo....
Are you mining on the NIST5 port?
Please post your full miner launch string.  I want to be sure you are connecting properly.

2 x vega64 + 2 vega56 Cryptonite rig testing in progress using the Colorful B250 8-slot motherboard with WIN10, LGA1511 Celeron, 8GB DDR4, 64GB M2-Sata SSD. This board has 8 x 6pin input to power the mobo and 8 x 6pin output to GPUs.

Notes:
1. May need to change that M2 to 120GB because cast-amd-xmr miner seems to need a lot of virtual memory to  run properly.
2. I have 5 more Vega64s still unboxed, final config maybe 2 rigs with 4 x Vega64s and 1 x Vegas56 = 5 x GPU rig - the D1800 maybe able to do the job.
3. If the overall power can be contained around 1400w-1600w and good temps with 8 x GPU - I will do a full blown 8 x Vega64 rig with the Colorful board. Spacing will be tight!

At what point is the SSD going to be detrimentally effected by the swap space?   If its a static DAG file... I could see it being ok.... but, that's a lot of read/writes on a SSD if its written a bunch.....

I know a 128Gb SSD is probably cheaper than a 64Gb SODimm would ever be...... but the thought did cross my mind.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gridseed 5 chip Keeping it at 1mhs Help on: December 02, 2017, 09:54:08 PM
Hi guys new here i have some Gridseed 5 chips and need some advice

When i connect to pool the hashrate starts off at 1mhs+ but then drops down to it's standard rate

How do i keep it up at the high hashrate it starts at?

Thanks in advance

It is not that fast.   Its a part of the delta of share calculation.   Your device is only as fast as it is: ~330Kh.

Looks like theres a V2.0 of the ONDA board:

ONDA B250 BTC-D8P(Ver:2.0) http://www.onda.cn/MotherBoard_Specifications.aspx?id=376

anyone else notice ddr3 spec on the v2.0?

Crackfoo, i'm trying config the address for your pool with the value #xnsub, but's not working.

My config it's like this: -o stratum+tcp://xevan.mine.zpool.ca:3739#xnsub

But i'm always get this error :

failed to resolve <wrong URL?> xevan.mine.zpool.ca:3739#x:24]

Why this is happen? Is there a way to fix this problem?

it's possible the miner you're using isn't coded to recognize the xnsub.

This is what it looks like;  notice how its not storing whats after the #x properly......

But this is a flag for ASICS; Typically sg/ccminer will have extranonce on by default...

what are you using this on?  I see a -o, so obviously you are putting this into one of the sg/ccminer or other variants.....

Yes i'm using the value #xnsub in a sgminer xevan version.

The question is, even without this value the pool doesn't allow to mining. Why?

Is there a minimun hash rate for GPUS start to mine?

no minimum, but difficulty may need to be set manually if auto doesn't work.

you will see hashrate poolside once valid shares are sent poolside.

do not use xnsub on this miner.

run it normal; and look at your page;  it will almost certainly be enabled by default.....  As mentioned before;  the #xnsub is a flag introduced into the miner app incorporated in standalone asics.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 01, 2017, 11:33:42 PM
i guess they dont work on this pool.
i put #skipcbcheck and #xnsub on the url but they only send a few shares then shut down.. Sad

also for some reason, my compac miners dont like this pool either.. after 24 hours of mining my stats only shows in khs not ghs and the shares show 0%

Is it an ASIC?
What miner app are you using?
What miner(s)/hardware are you controlling with this software that you are reporting the issue with?

As a small test:
On your wallet page, connect without #xnsub.
Look at the "Miners: <your payout address>"table,  and you will see your miner listed at the bottom of that table.   One of the columns is "ES**"  Does extranonce report as on?  You will see a green check mark if so.

Almost all miner apps have ES on by default nowadays, some have it as a parameter in the build/makefile (--extranonce or something along those lines), and some accept it as a parameter of the stratum URL.  I have yet to see it configured on a ccminer or sgminer variant to take the extranonce flag from the url and not a separate command line input....

So please, answer the above questions;  they will help me resolve your problem for you... as extranonce helps with overall workunit efficiency.

I did actually change it to PH a long time ago. I just noticed the other day I didn’t actually change the units in the stratum server. So now they are actually mBTC/PH/Day

OK awesome.  Just looking out for those crazy errors, and this one fit the bill Wink

I see the mainpage update now that i've double checked it....

It was just odd to see profitability in the hundreds of mBTC again....   Felt like a flashback to year or two ago for a hot minute Wink

Ive noticed microsoft quietly squeezing people out of 7 like apple does with their IOS devices....

Machines that weren't buggy before, are now.... considerably so.

Several of them get false activation retractions causing a reload of the OS.... very strange stuff happening with 7 that never ever happened to me before.

@crackfoo:

SHA256 has some pretty crazy profitability numbers today... did you just change the normalization ratio on it?  I don't see it denoted as per ph or anything....

Maybe a crazy exchange API again?
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ROI question on mining rigs on: December 01, 2017, 06:50:28 AM
for mining;  the only thing you can factor in is the payback/ROI total vs. the value of the gear if liquidated for sale.  This is true scaling roi in my eyes.

but I don't count on getting things by a time.  I am just excitedwhenever anything is coming in.  Especially is it has paid itself physically off, and/or its profitability margin takes theoretical ROI sooner then the 6-3 month mark.

I see the "pending" blue line in the graph shot back up.  So I guess that means Poloniex is now operational?

Yobit you mean. Yeah I just enabled it again not too long ago.

Cheers

I assume this is related to the yobit ddos?

The connection using the value #xnsub doesn´t work for any address or algo in zpool.

The lack of this value in configuration could bring problems in connectios or to receive works from pool ?

Yes it does.

Every time I use it with a bitmain miner, it works for me.  Its supposed to be added to the stratum link.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: November 29, 2017, 09:41:20 AM
Well I cashed some at 9900
I cashed some at 10,400

At this point I may cash everything.

Not much coin left to cash been cashing in every day since we got over 8000.

Even S7s are going online now Phil.... every single ounce of hash now will make money.

I found a box of Gridseed Orbs in the store room.... cant recall how this thing worked - it needs a Raspberry Pi?

I used a pi with minera installed..... was pretty painless and auto-rebooted on dead devices =)  I still have a few 4-stacks of orbs somewhere myself....

And theres a 30Mh scrypt unit (zeus?) that I could try and fix....

Hi crackfoo
tell me, if I change my purse for zcash, the exchange for the pool will be as it happens, first in btc then zcash or immediately in zcash?

you can't do this.  the address would be different and the balance does not transfer.

Check if the pool mines zcash... it may not....

my first rma today of a 1080 ti  the msi aero  is not detected   on 3 different boards.

We had 2 MSI 1080 (non Ti) Aero GPUs arrive defective from the factory in the same order earlier this year (both of them would overheat within a few minutes even with reduced power limits and 100% fan). We also had a MSI Armor 1080 purchased around the same time that was wonky (all sorts of errors on multiple test machines) and got RMAed at the same time. This was when the mining craze was getting ridiculous and I think Quality Control was rushed and really sloppy on that batch from MSI.

they saids 15 to 35 days turn around.. so  that would be dec 13 to Jan 2  wonder which one it will be closer to Grin

I am shifting more towards evga the last orders.

I repaired the asus   blower by pulling the blower fan and putting this fan on the casing

https://www.amazon.com/Bgears-b-Blaster-90mm-Bearing-Extreme/dp/B0043GQJ5M/ref=sr_1_1?

I may order this one

https://www.amazon.com/Bgears-b-Blaster-90x38-Cooling-System/dp/B073V2YJPT/ref=sr_1_cc_2?

I just got my replacement gtx980 fans from amazon....

take the fan off the heatsync, and look at the label in the rear.  search the part number, im pretty sure you will find results and it fitting multiple models (such as r-series AMD, and nvidia alike)

This is what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M4L4V7L

I needed to clip a little plastic tab off mine for mounting, but it fit fine otherwise.  some GFX cards had a screw/mount there.

Hope it helps Wink

Thanks for having a look Jared...
It is strange because I have "fiber" connection which is very stable most of the time. I don't know how I can fix it.

it could be a node along the way.....  something lets say with a failing cache getting glitchy....  start with a traceroute... but, im a little out of words otherwise.  its a complex diagnostic.

I just had a look to my account and my BTC amount has been sent in the middle of night.
So okay, I just have one BTC amount to fiil now to stop use my old BTC adress...

And for info my yesterday hashrate on the pool concerning what @toxikk sayed :

Well, I did say there were some flooding on x11 yesterday but for you, there must be other issues you need to look at. Here is zpool's D3's:

http://zpool.ca/?address=1LDQNsknrP6VUDdd1aqGWxoW9HBgYezEyZ

I took a peek myself today at your wallet, and it shows lots of bad connections between you and the pool;  either your ISP is dropping packets along the way, or you are continually re-handshaking....

I get this behavior myself when my cellular internet starts misbehaving.... so this is causing problems for you for sure.  Being on a VPN link;  its not nearly as bad as my ISP disconnects are relatively transparent to that internet 'link'.

Adress already posted some post upper.

Your most recent posts about a problem started here:

Hi,
I started to mine on your pool with two BTC adress, the amount for a payment is not suffisant. I want want to use an another adress now (with DASH adress and payment in fact).
If I give you the two adress could you please forced the payment or transfer on another adress Huh
Take the fee you want for this, I just want to "close" these BTC account adress....  Roll Eyes
I am pretty sure this is not going to happen.   Mine to payout on the addresses if you wish to claim.  Pretty simple.   Plus;  no addresses were mentioned.

In fact, crackfoo replied publicly:
Message here, message to your personal mailbox on forum and no answer anywhere  Angry Angry

IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE AN ANSWER !!!!!!!!!!?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

May I have to spam you as most as I can on twitter...?

You’re welcome to change to DASH at anytime. The system isn’t designed to force payments or move them around.

I am willing to bet he responded to the support ticket with this info too.

So next It brings me to you saying:
Same problem than @toxikk....
Could depend of the algo we mine...

And no payout for my BTC amount  Huh But okay for my Dash, I don't understand why...

and you say you are having an issue with pool disconnects\ because thats what toxikk was speaking about....  But you are speaking about your two btc addresses you want combined and pushed to another wallet.
Imagine someone got your two wallet addresses and asked crackfoo to do the same for them.  how does he know who really owns them?   The terms of payouts have always been clearly printed on page 1.  If you stick to them, you will get a payout.

Crackfoo already answered this many pages ago right when you asked.

The V2.0 board looks interesting...

I dont like the vertical HDMI port;  I know they were saving space, but damn... flimsy looking... eek.

I like the re-positioning of the ATX power, but not the location.  over by the CPU was smarter. you would have to extend the power cable on a pico to reach, and the cable for ATX from a PSU would have to go under the gpu's... more mess there... I want airflow there.

They removed the +4 1x connectors;  I could live with that.

replacing that many molex/sata plugs with that many PCIE plugs does not make sense in a wattage standpoint.....  I think it could have had fewer.... plus, forcing the psu to be in a odd/undesired location.
