1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 ⚡🚀[ ANN ] DOGDATA : Dog Owners Blockchain IEO on BitForex on: April 20, 2020, 09:17:54 AM
The OP is not a member of the project, he is just the bounty manager with limited knowledge on the project. You can the project telegram group (https://t.me/Dogdata ) for more information or get answers to your questions. At this point any OP either bounty manager should request for a community manager with enough information on the project for the thread. It is not proper if interested members dont get response from this thread
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 19, 2020, 11:45:56 AM
It is very relevant and important problem that any startup can engage at a very low hardcap, exchanges and escrow company can also look into it. The idea will be on the solution to communication with all users and security of their coins. Like every financial institution they might need first acquaintance with third party before the confidentially in later. It is important the currency is available for everybody for use and transaction irrespective of their physical inabilities.
1143  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the Halving affect the BTC price? on: April 19, 2020, 11:21:53 AM
If miners btc reward reduced from 12.5 to 6.25 using the same amount of electric energy and other resources, after selling at loss for a long time as 1 year, it is expected that the motivation will be low and transaction might also be slower. History showed that there might not be an instant price response and the recent pandemic may also affect investment in a space that had endured dump for that long. Since most fund in the past had always come from altcoins, I expect a steady altcoin season rise after the halving and pandemic is controlled. Investment in mining is more expensive and we have more wealthy miners that may not sell at the low price which could lead to more scarce asset, scarcity is likely to pump the price.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: April 18, 2020, 10:11:59 AM
China can only consider this after the crisis had been reduced to the minimal. have thought on the gap the asset fills in the time of crisis but those in the crisis at a point are no more concern about the toilet paper and fund but the food in store, protecting themselves and mourning the victims. After the crisis Governments, Financial institute and internet media will consider another form of keeping asset/fund and transacting with each other fast, secure, decentralized, no third party and a level of anonymity.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 09:56:06 AM
What anyone should consider is if any purchase of the asset will be profitable? ultimate yes, it will be profitable, something in x10 more but the huddle like every business is when, how long it will take to take this profit from the parabolic boom? It wont be wise to predict to anyone that the price may never dump from where it is at the moment into the bull-run. The volatility has the advantage and disadvantage and every investors should learn to be long-term.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Bill Would Give Americans $2,000 A Month Until Economy Recovers on: April 17, 2020, 08:59:38 AM
With this amount of new USD money in the economy, I believe the BTC and other main cryptos will fly us quickly.

I hope that you understand that you can't give money that you do not have. This means they will have to make money. So they will print money and give it away for people to spend.

They'll dillute the dolladr and make it worth even less and that 2000 that people will think is a lot will kick them in the ass a year later when they'll have to pay $20 for a pack of cigarettes.
This is not just happening in America but even to some countries who gives financial assistance to all senior citizens and persons with disabilities and even to those citizens who are not able to go their work because of covid 19. This means printing more money until this crisis comes to an end.
America has more casualties than any other country and this put more pressure on them than any other government, the Government had also enjoyed support of everyone to put a palliative measure for the citizens. The pressure will reflect on the country's economy than any other country and the currency will lose a lot of value. Every Government is just trying all available ideas, no exact solution for now and Vaccine will be more reliable
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam attempt? Or Nothing to panic? on: April 17, 2020, 08:35:49 AM
We have to be really pessimistic in such cases. absolutely no joke because this is a serious problem. I know that there were quite a few fraudulent exchanges but now it appears in an exchange called the top 10 volumes!
I think CMC should have more accurate data on these top exchanges because it only uses bots more than any other platform. Besides, we should not once again believe in the top exchanges that CMC recommends, we should participate in exchanges that have a large community and we can always see that the CEO of exchange is always active. I suggest it is Binance, Huobi.
Coingecko get better assessment of exchanges and had improved on it since the year begun. Sadly, some of the centralized exchanges like binance, huobi etc may be on top of it for a long time, this is also an indication of what to expect in centralized exchanges. None of the decentralized exchanges is in the top 20 exchanges both on CMC and Coingecko, they keep losing trust of users with unattractive developments and fake volume.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: April 16, 2020, 10:22:54 AM
It's so obvious that CORONAVIRUS has really hurt the world economy as a whole which has also extended the harm to crypto market but I believe we will be out of this in due time.

The only due time is when we already have a proven vaccine, so far there are 21 countries racing to test new vaccines for Corona we are all racing for time every seconds count because the infected are increasing, I wonder what company would be the first to come out with a vaccine.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/these-nine-companies-are-working-on-coronavirus-treatments-or-vaccines-heres-where-things-stand-2020-03-06
Vaccines for Corona right now are just a way for countries to encourage their people about to stay at home, lockdown or just put hope in them. You should check the long history of SARS 2003 and it didn't have vaccines. MERS also didn't have vaccines. We missed the golden time to effectively remove Corona at the early, unlike SARS and MERS and now the only hope left are vaccines.
The medical control of drugs also affect the fatality of the pandemic in some countries, the control is good but can be misused by the same authority. Unlike in some countries where anyone can get to the Pharmacy store to buy Hydrochloroquine, Azithromycin and Zinc (that is recommend by some USA doctors), administer and get well soon. This is told to reduce the fatality case in places like Nigeria and some other African countries.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Bill Would Give Americans $2,000 A Month Until Economy Recovers on: April 16, 2020, 10:12:48 AM
Its a good palliative measure for those without money or income in this crisis but planning to get back demand should not be objective. With same mind of rescuing the economy he plans to remove laws that prevent lockdown and social distancing. First, there is no immediate way to handle inflation in coming days with the fund in circulation.  Secondly, the leadership might need to take caution on putting too much priority on economy than lives of the citizen, demand and relax of lockdown wont be substitute to lives and may ever be the greatest mistake they made. As we have decided to take enough time in this period, so be it
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO NEWS:FBI Warns COVID-19 Scammers Are Targeting Crypto Holders. on: April 15, 2020, 10:58:00 AM
Countries like USA, China, Germany and UK are very important to the space especially with the value of currency and the size of economy. Any comment from America security agents on cryptocurrency is a type of advert for the space and could increase adoption with newer investors. With the period so far, cryptocurrency and gold are still the only asset to withstand the pressure of price dump from the crisis. This will go a long way in the sentiment of the space in coming months.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 15, 2020, 10:46:37 AM
Bitcoin is protecting the price at the moment, staying above $5000 as the price resistance in the pandemic. The only challenge will be after halving and nothing looks attractive to the coin but if the price can stay above $5000 all thtough the crisis and post halving, a level of sentiment would have been achieved.
The stimulus package from most developed countries will be a positive add up to the space. After the quick inflation from the printed money then we expect a quick deflation as well where the bull market picks up and progresses. The space will need this 3-5 important months to know where we head.

1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In times of turmoil, is Bitcoin really a safe-haven asset? on: April 06, 2020, 10:31:34 PM
Bitcoin is not in competition with Gold and I understand you will describe Gold to have done better though they dont any platform of competition. Bitcoin was design to link with main event and that had shown is relevance in use but I dont understand the type of exchange (decentralized or centralized) affect the price of bitcoin. The pandemic crisis comes once in long while and no project will define itself to handle such crisis but bitcoin IMO had done so well to pick from the dump in short period.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens on: April 05, 2020, 10:28:14 PM
Who would have thought that exchange tokens can be huge as they are today? Back in 2017 I never thought that exchange can use token on their platform and make it very valuable, look at binance exchange and Okex exchange, very profitable they are today for every early adopters, any ways that's that, how about now? What exchange do you think will be huge in near future?
Binance coin is becoming more success, only Binance has different service or product. Okex and huobi exchange also doing good. Before Binance dex, this coin price was dump as usual others coin. Without high volume exchange, exchange coin is worthless.
Binance had been a trailblazer with some feature of its exchange coin, most exchange are now adopting most of the use. its strong, reliable and productive utility for token in the space, exchange coin has one of the ability for manipulation as well. Binance burning of token had been very effective in managing token price and coin scarcity. The sentiment of exchange token had improved over time, which makes it enjoy the high volume trade.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 04, 2020, 07:16:15 PM
Could be higher now, the market is down and investors are not looking for new coins so those developers they are just gone after getting funded we have so many projects recently that scammed so many investors like Adab IronX, if the project is scam so are the bounties, you will either not going to get it or if you got it it will have no value in the market.
I was also going to post this 90% is less now they are nearly 98% or 99% as most of projects are not good and attractive and investors also have nothing serious in them most of them are just waste of time nothing else I also have many thousands coins with no worth and they will never been in good in future.
Why the percentage of scam might have increase is the reduction in IEO/ICOs as a whole. Smart bounty managers that can analyse project and detect scam are virtually inactive, so the available bounties are mostly handled by inexperienced bounty managers. Asides the fact that they cant recognize scam they also dont know how to strike a deal with good reward, cant have token in there custody or hand it over to escrow. They are also push around by bounty participants with bad decisions.
1156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus hoax in Italy on: April 03, 2020, 06:32:34 PM
It was explained many times before.

Corona isn't going to disappear like flu unless there is an effective cure. The deaths are around only 10k in Italy... for now.

What's your excuse gonna be when we see 100k+ deaths in a few months?
Whenever i see the prediction of over 100k+, whereby expecting worse senerio,I like to ask if the death for the masses or the less privilege? If we understand that this crisis can hit anyone, old and young even those without underlining ailment unlike earlier predicted. We might have to have to give more urgency to adopt any provision for cure. China has given enough example and we understand that the whole country may not have to die before we arrest the situation.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kiyosaki believes in Bitcoin on: April 03, 2020, 04:05:56 PM
Not only that, there are many people and businessmen who believe in Bitcoin. In my opinion, Tesla's CEO Elon Musk believes in Bitcoin and crypto money, but does not express it clearly. Even the most recent Bill Gates said he had changed his mind.
Unfortunately, we cannot reach a place with only these views. For us, larger-scale developments that will affect daily life
To add to the list is Jack dorsey (twitter ) and Mark Zukerberg (Facebook), the 2 top used social media platform in the globe. Jack promised to make some commitment to the space this year and made several tweets last year to support bitcoin, i feel the pandemics situation could limit it this year. Facebook also plan to launch its coin but there are more important situation in health that could suspend the decision of the government to approve it. Other branches of Microsoft are involve in cryptocurrency especially Microsoft Azure.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto changes. on: April 03, 2020, 01:50:54 PM
it is because they are limiting the transactions for over the world and stop trading for a while but they forgot the whales those are the people who can be responsible for this changes
the whales they are diving into the dip and grabbing the opportunity collect coins as many as they can because the halving will be coming in the next few months and expect that the market price of the coins will back to huge changes
The limitation in the market was not created by traders, it was created by the space especially the exchanges and other transaction platform. It was meant to manage the panic and contain the price drop.
Whales are not buying because of halving, to know what influence the big volume exchanges with manipulation will be surprising. If whales plan to manipulate it is mostly done on exchanges and if buying order was already there. It is better to know when to sell
1159  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Toilet Papet Token Scam on: April 03, 2020, 01:35:46 PM
Have seen this on the social media and thought it was a joke, we really laughed over it but to see it here after some hours that Yobit pick it and list is outrageous. When wil lyobit stop putting itself on top of the list of scam exchange? It is disgracing even for any new one interested in token to see some ridiculous news like this. I read the token was meant for purchase of toilet Paper and delivery at doorstep but was not expecting such early adoption
1160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on DEX's - What's your experience? on: April 02, 2020, 07:30:34 PM
Been playing around with the Blocknet DEX lately, and it seems like the most activity is on the BLOCK/LTC trading pair. Recently seen some DIVI/BLOCK trading going on as well, but really would love to see more trading on DEX's like this as I personally love to trade without giving up my personal details.

What's your own experiences with DEX's? Which one do you like the most, etc?

The best thing about using a DEX is no registration. My first DEX experience was on IDEX but as soon as they started acting like a centralized exchange I stopped using it. I mean why would a DEX need registration.

I then shifted to Binance DEX, liked it but there is zero volume on almost all the pairs now therefore stopped using it too. At the moment not using any DEX.
I share the same experience with IDEX and left when registration started, also left etherdelta and Forkdelta a long time ago, etherdelta after the hack and forkdelta got unhealthy to me. Other DEX do not have the same volume like in the ERC20. DEX had been safe with records but new exchanges dont get as many listed new token that can engage trade.
