1141  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 19, 2023, 10:20:47 AM
Well, there are many things to consider in something like this because they want to benefit themselves. Having crypto in which every transaction is verifiable, they can't bear how much they have to be to hide. Maybe they want it all for themselves or nothing else. As long as people are willing to use crypto negatively, there will be people who will fight to have reasonable regulations.

It would be best to consider that it's not the "only one" reason to have regulation but much more.
1142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 19, 2023, 05:49:29 AM
As a trader, things can get difficult and discouraging if you cannot relate with any other person who will have a good understanding of what you are saying concerning trading, to solve that challenge, are you part of any trading community or group that you share tips and new strategies? What other ways can you say you have benefited from being in a community asides sharing of tips and strategies. Are you doing better than when you did things on your own. Can there be any major disadvantage being a member of such a trading groups? What is your advice to people?
What do you mean by relating to other people or another person? You don't need that to trade. You have to understand the market and trade accordingly. I don't believe it's a requirement to have some connection with other people or even be part of a trading community to trade. You can improve yourself in those ways, but it's up to you if you ever go on your own and try to trade on your own.

I don't think there's a big disadvantage, but one main concern is that you will be following a group, which could influence you. You could get lost in all of it and maybe distract yourself from ever trading because the trading community or something influences you.
1143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Asia Pushes Bitcoin Past $25K on: March 19, 2023, 05:04:52 AM
Two of your 3 reasons seem to be the facts why Asia is considering accepting cryptocurrencies. While I somewhat disagree that most Asians have lost faith in banks.

The advancement of digital technology in Asia has really encouraged many developers to contribute to the crypto industry. I've found my country's government friendly to crypto even if they don't approve of it being used as legal tender. That's not a problem, but the point is that Asia is increasingly able to regard these cryptocurrencies as a form of digital development.
Maybe if I can be more specific with the lost faith in banks, maybe with middlemen? Upon analyzing the situation here in my country, there are digital banks that support crypto and you can even buy from them which is a good thing right? What I'm trying to say here is about the traditional and modern ways of banking. I do like some modern banks that you can be flexible with savings and using it as a wallet etc.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 500$ on Stake on a blackjack (in 1 minute) on: March 18, 2023, 01:00:48 PM
I watched your video for a while, great job. It's good that you were recording already at that time. Having an x2 with that high stake means you want to record it live. $250 is a lot, and winning another $250 is great too. That's just going to be heartbreaking if you lose. That's a sigh of relief for you, for sure. Just your everyday gamble I guess.

Theoretically, would you post your losses here if it wasn't a big win for you? Like you recorded it, but you lost?
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 07:48:04 AM
That is an age-old question "What will I do with my BTC?". It's only you who can assess that because the moment that you are going to try to sell or buy, it's still your decision. Believe in something, and maybe you can reap the benefits in the long run, or you could make sure that you have the right mindset that you will accumulate or trade it. Maybe it's good to take advantage, or perhaps not, but make sure you are making the right decisions for yourself, and you won't regret it.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 18, 2023, 06:29:06 AM
Nice thread. Me, I value the looks and feel of the site as well as the bonus and reputation of that site. That will be built upon the experience of users and those that are really trying to make it up the gambling scene. This is a good metric o check if someone wants to set up their own casino and they would be able to thank you after you average everything etc. Some of it might not be as impactful but important to know as well.

Features:Importance:
Huge variety of games and different sections (sports, live tables, etc
Good bonus/reward program
Good looking, intuitive and fast user interface
Good help desk
Strong community/ Reputation
The age of the site
Casino's own token that pays dividends / ability to mine it by gambling

1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 17, 2023, 06:10:55 PM
Yup! that is why there are initial Practices so racers that are new to the Circuit or have a new vehicle will be familiar with the curve and when will they turn to corners, I think the 1st practice tomorrow will be crucial for most racers, and their vehicles as well, well the fastest recorded time in the Jeddah Corniche Circuit was and Audi RS 3 LMS TCR (2021) with a time record of 1:16.986 that was driven by Gilles Magnus, in the 2022 WTCR Race of Saudi Arabia event,
With the free practice in Jeddah, it's definitely seen there that the Red Bulls are still leading even with a rocky start with the two, like with the understeering with their cars but they had managed and they got P1 and P2 for that. The Aston Martins have gotten really good with P3 and P4, and the Mercedes at P5 and P6.

I can't wait the qualifying for this one.

1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: March 17, 2023, 05:59:06 PM
Upon searching the "POKT" and Pocket Network, you meant this, right?

https://www.pokt.network/

It will be worthwhile if it goes viral or something, but having an infinite supply could cause problems for an investor. The value of the token we want to decrease has a higher chance of being worthless because of that infinite supply. It's going to be turmoil.
1149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Asia Pushes Bitcoin Past $25K on: March 17, 2023, 05:22:36 AM
Generally, Asia is more accepting of Bitcoin. In general, I could think of a couple of things why.
  • Asia has been technologically advanced in recent years
  • Lack of trust in Banks
  • Transferring money has become easier

That is the current trend in the world, and Asia is at the front of it. I think it will continue in the next decade and hope it will rise in price.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 16, 2023, 03:49:28 PM
You may have a different interpretation of it, OP. From my perspective, he is trying to say that it's like a bank, not necessarily a bank in which the function is like banks, but the aspect that you could keep money in it.
  • Bitcoin cannot lend out because satoshis have to come somewhere, and it won't magically appear in your account, which means that it cannot lend out.
  • It won't gamble since you must remove it from the bank; it will be invested if you remove it from your address.
  • Move or freeze, Bitcoin won't do that to itself

It's a playful thing with "being your bank," IMO. I need to see how it deceives newbies. As long as they ask what it is about, it cannot fool anyone, or it's not something that is taken to be a scammy type of thing.

Additionally, as long as you send BTC to someone who accepts it, it will be paid with Bitcoin. That's already an application.
1151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need to receive satoshi from a big wallet on: March 16, 2023, 03:40:52 PM
That's a specific ask that you have. Someone would not be willing to do that and move from a particular address with at least 500 BTC and move a little bit of it. They may be aiming for having a dormant wallet and not carrying anything, but that's a big ask IMO. Why would they even do it in the first place?

Maybe look for addresses with that kind of amount and find the owner of it and ask them. I'm sure there are tools that you can use to search if they posted the specific address or not. I highly doubt it, though.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 15, 2023, 03:38:23 PM
This is my 1st time posting here and because I may have a liking to Racing but this is F1 racing well, it is still racing, and upon reading the previous post and seeing the upcoming practices and main matches that are upcoming, seeing the Bahrain GP Red bull team really outdid the Bahrain GP in both F1 driver  have gotten the 1st and the 2nd spot, Max Verstappen on the 1st position while Sergio Perez on the 2nd position, Well I love Ferrari (the car) but they just landed in the 4th position and the 19th position well looking at the Bahrain International Circuit I think it is quite easy, but in the next Circuit it is going to be quite difficult for most of the racers, well that's because of the absurd form of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and because it contains the most corners in the entire F1 calendar with 24 corners if I am not mistaken and here is the Jeddah Corniche Circuit Map,
What makes it challenging is the track itself, for sure. Like the long straights and flowing corners, you really have to be careful by maintaining high speeds while doing those corners you know. There are tight turns that really push you to the edge and I think there would be some action in the actual race or something. The track is definitely hard, and it's a new track so less practice for them and less reference data.
1153  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware of changing withdrawal address when using CEX on: March 15, 2023, 02:03:34 PM
Are you sure they are like that? It's been a while since I have tried Poloniex but maybe with Justin Sun being at the helm, maybe it's one of the things to do?

In other exchanges like Binance, you could have multiple withdrawal addresses as long as you verify and have the OTP correct and other authenticators needed and it could be done. Just like what others said, it might be because of unusual activity and not just based on the withdrawal itself or something.
1154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience on Bitcoin on: March 15, 2023, 01:08:17 PM
This is typically the initial reaction of those people who don't believe in it at first, even when introduced the first time. It's about time you should consider that it could rise in price somehow, which would be the best thing you would do. And if you think that, then you would only be swayed by other people for some of your different opportunities. You wouldn't regret that if you could do it consistently and know why you are doing the actions. I'd appreciate it if you could do it.

Don't get me wrong here; it will be to have a solid belief, especially if you are discussing opportunities with your money, that will continue unless something better happens. That's what happens, and you have to stay strong.
1155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Startup for Technical Indicator Alarms on: March 15, 2023, 09:10:43 AM
Good idea; in a way, one major part of your alarms would be automatically pinging. Maybe a customized ping and notification would help you identify if it's time to short or long? The specific ring could immediately give you an idea of what direction the market is going, so you would have that immediate reaction to the market ASAP.

Additionally, customization with other things with the phone would be ideal, like vibration or something like that.

I love the idea of having it customized to my liking so it would be easy to get the information.
1156  Economy / Speculation / Re: 26k mark finally breached on: March 15, 2023, 05:38:30 AM
Many people have cashed out their holdings with the recent rise in price and taking advantage of it for the short-term needs that we all have. That's where human nature reflects in the current economy, which is happening and shows in the market. This definitely feels like the old times when it was shown to us that there would be a rise in price again and it could lead us to further heights.

Hopefully, once more we are at that top that we all want. I'm not sure if it could sustain that level, but I hope we do.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Test on: March 14, 2023, 06:04:21 PM
"Little or No Indication of Gambling Addiction"

This is what I got from the test. I believe that's true for my case since I do not seek gambling any time of the day. I think it could be worse if I had continuously won in gambling and felt that profit from gambling, you know? The hook, but I failed and have a little sense of it, TBH.

Check yourself and be honest about what you are going through. In that way, you will be okay.
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin pump on March 12 on: March 14, 2023, 06:23:52 AM
Now I know the reason why it has increased in price. That's a lot, and you could've made money when it was down. That's the hard part of trading and knowing when to buy and sell. You will never know what could happen in the short term, especially in the long run. Who would've expected that it would go down and immediately rise again? That's just the volatility that we are experiencing.

There is a lot of money in the market, and imagine that $1bn is just a drop, like what?? That's a lot in some countries.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 13, 2023, 05:21:14 AM
Also it was a strange race for Gasly. He was P20 but somehow climbed up so fast and nearly had fastest lap of the race if it weren't for Zhou on the very end. He ended the race P9.
The rookies didn't fair too well in this race so they need more experience on the tracks if they want to place anywhere near the top among the best.
Why was it strange? Gasly had a great race for sure. The rookies needs a good car and I hope their team could give it to them. I believe that it's more of a car thing rather than a driver thing. But of course the strategy how to handle overtaking needs experience and they don't have that much yet. Let's see.
It was Gasly who was in 20th place during the race who had managed to make up 11 places to take 9th.
That is what was strange from the former Alpha Tauri driver turned into a Ricciardo overnight. You remember how Daniel ended the season last year?
Keeps that stellar performance right for the end of the season is bad and no wonder he went to Red Bull as a backup for the top guns.
Gasly's performance out of qualifying was dead last. Remember his result after Q1? I guess not because I didn't see him getting into the place he ended up.
I understand. At least now it's at the start of the season and I hope that his stellar performance continues as he said, he already has points up the board already. With his performance, he definitely is surprised as well. At least his team could be fired up for the next GP and hopefully, they would deliver again. We will see the performance soon.
1160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 13, 2023, 02:32:59 AM
Suppose you accumulate everything that you have with any cases that has something to do with alcohol, and the people involved in it are intoxicated. In that case, almost everything isn't what we want to be, which will be negative. Hence, it's highly likely to be negative and a negative experience.

I tried studying intoxicated once when I was in college. I don't think I could finish the chapter we have a quiz on. I tried, but it was hard; I just wanted to sleep. But that's just me.

You could be lucky in trading, but that's what happens in anything, right? There should be luck with you. I doubt you can decide when you are drunk or something.
