1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [HODL] My shitcoin fund Aim is x100 minimum on: February 06, 2019, 04:24:45 AM
I also invested on it a couple of days ago and was able to ride the waves. Although it has slowly going down, but I will continue to hold and let's see how Justin will influence the price just like he did on Tron.

Justin is a shiller god. He can make trash worth $10 each. I expect BTT continue to pamp until it dies later. But this somehow shows that the market is so immature they follow Justin anywhere.

Btw, if you're looking for other coins that got dumped heavily, ESSENTIA, LYFE, DICET and TBE might be your choice (not guaranteed that you'll make x100 but I'm pretty sure all of them will suffer like hell when BTC dump).
1163  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TIPS] Motivasi untuk bisa naik Rank & mendapatkan bonus Merit on: February 06, 2019, 04:15:22 AM

1164  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How bitcoin inheritance can be achieved. on: February 06, 2019, 03:53:28 AM
Make a multi-sig (2-3), one key for you, one key for your wife/husband, and one key for your child. If you died, your spouse and your child can move or use the funds. Not the best idea but it should work if you have a family and you can trust them.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep the BitCoins Safe? on: February 05, 2019, 12:25:40 PM
Still we have problem. How are you going to prevent this kind of death case. Every time a case like this is happening we are locking more Bitcoin. There are suppose to be 21 millions of Bitcoin but I doubt at the end ever we will have 15 millions.

The dead of one owner shouldn't be a problem if you use a multi-sig wallet. You can still access the fund with the other keys (depend on your setup).

Anyway, one suggestion would be to build a smart contract which requires to be updated regularly (monthly, yearly and so on) that if it does not get updated, the funds contained whiting the address will be transferred to other address (which ideally their heir address). This way, you don't have to share your private key with somebody else but you can make sure your funds will go to your family when you died.
1166  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-2-4]UK Financial Watchdogs Gives Go-Ahead to Trading Crypto Derivatives on: February 05, 2019, 07:15:58 AM
Nice. Forget US, UK is the next crypto center. But anything that happens in this bear market even though it is positive hardly moves the price. I want to see green candles badly. Hope this will cause some little spike upwards.
1167  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][PREMINE] 🌟 WETCOIN 🌟 PREMINE UNTUK SEMUA ORANG 🌟 ) on: February 05, 2019, 06:55:33 AM

Istilah yang pas menurut ane adalah too good to be true. Silakan dinilai sendiri deh.

1168  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-01]Canada’s largest cryptocurrency exchange goes bust on: February 05, 2019, 06:40:22 AM
And it should have been implemented in Bitcoin long ago. Basically, we need a sort of smart contract done either as a second layer solution or right in the blockchain protocol. For example, to prevent such cases from occurring, you would create a smart contract that should send bitcoins from your wallet to another wallet in case you don't prolong this contract, say, in a month or so (something like "a dead hand"). In this way, if you die, lose private keys or whatever, your bitcoins won't be lost but instead will be legitimately transferred after a specified amount of time

This is a great idea. Is there any development focusing on this matter? Or is this still an idea at the moment?
But I'm not sure if Bitcoin would be able to support this, it should require more complex script, isn't it?
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Government becoming friendlier to bitcoin on: February 05, 2019, 05:46:07 AM
Maybe after that, bounty hunters will no longer demand to undergo a KYC check.

Whatever the act says, I'm not sure it has any relation to bounty hunter. Most project that you promote are doing an ICO, which adds additional layer of definition that can certainly falls to securities, even though the company offers a token/cryptocurrencies. ICO != cryptocurrencies, but ICO is likely the same as IPO. So don't be too hopeful, you can always choose to participate in a bounty that doesn't require KYC though.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TEMCO] TEMCO - Supply Chain Powered by Bitcoin Network, RSK on: February 05, 2019, 05:28:01 AM
The Telegram chat is full of angry bounty hunters who want to get their token asap and sell them on the market. Not great tbh. If I were an investor I'll leave this project asap. Would be better if there's a separate room for bounty and product discussion. But well, they have KIP on their back, isn't it? I think that's not a problem then. But retail investor is surely annoyed because of this.
1171  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TUTORIAL]Memperbaiki Kesalahan Penulisan Bahasa English dengan Grammarly on: February 03, 2019, 03:27:27 AM

1172  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger nano S stucked in bootloader mode on: February 02, 2019, 11:53:14 AM
Have you followed the guide over here?[1] Just did some quick Google search and it seems this problem exist on several devices across different OS. Might be better to contact Ledger support directly instead of bumping this old thread.

1173  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-2-1]Iran to Use its Cryptocurrency in Trades with Europe, UK, Russia and S on: February 02, 2019, 05:36:58 AM
Nice news. More and more states are looking to make their own stable coin. Will Tether dominance died after this?
Seems like US influence will slowly fade from the market, as people can use blockchain and crypto to outclass the US.
1174  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: February 02, 2019, 04:32:19 AM
Big volume exchange binance you can deposit and withdraw without KYC (withdrawal limitation) very interesting experience.

In other words, you can launder your money (2 BTC) for free Cheesy
It's a common practice on several exchanges, maybe do to regulation and stuff, but yeah it's very annoying when you don't know that withdrawal require KYC, and weirdly there is no information about it when you want to deposit. I know they have terms that we can read but somehow it looks like they deliberately leave it like that so some people will fall for this 'trap'.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain is a never ending process? on: February 02, 2019, 04:01:25 AM
Blockchain is having a great influence on the world and most people are putting their faith in this technology very large because it can be applied in many different areas. Currently the world's major banks are using this technology to change the world better

Stop quoting like this. Your reply and what you've quoted doesn't have any correlations.

Bitcoin is the king of blockchain, how ever when bitcoin at higher price all of altcoin and crypto have higher price, we can take care about how blockchain at the future, but we need support how to make bitcoin have higher price every time.

What does king of blockchain means? Seems like people view Bitcoin as some sort of cult leader. Anyway, just because something is priced higher than the other doesn't mean it is the "king", for example: BCH/XRP.
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralisation is harder than you think on: February 02, 2019, 03:37:20 AM
Decentralization may be more difficult, but it does not make it impossible or undesirable for us. Still, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies continue to exist to this day and are completely decentralized. People support it and I think that in the future we will be able to create a good decentralized system.

Seems like you ignore the point in OP and continue to define "decentralization" in your own terms, which is unclear. I'm not really sure what kind of decentralization we're talking about, is it: the power to change the rules, how new money come into circulation, deciding which transaction is valid, and so on.

Either way, I believe this topic is broader than we think and as pooya said, sometimes people mix imagination and reality to support their stance.
1177  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Samsung S10 menyediakan KeyStore untuk dompet cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2019, 07:45:20 AM

1178  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why signing same message with same private key is yielding different signatures? on: February 01, 2019, 06:49:04 AM
a wallet that is implementing RFC6979 (which is what people are talking about here, a deterministic k) is slightly better but i don't think we can really call anyone that doesn't "unsafe" or "less good" than those that do implement it.
read this reply for a better understanding of why it is better to have it than not: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5084787.msg48670739#msg48670739

Thanks, will study it further later.

My first time knowing about this, and it seems very old. Hmm. Why did you choose to use this btw? Why not use popular wallet like Core/Electrum?
1179  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Cold Storage Hardware on: February 01, 2019, 06:26:41 AM
What do you think is a good encryption solution. Just veracrypt whole device/folder ?

Multiple encryption is better I guess. VeraCrypt the folder, veracrypt the veracrypted folder, do it again, and veracrypt the whole device. It should be better than 1 layer encryption, just like 2fa, just my 2 cents.
1180  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-28] VAN ECK: BITCOIN INVESTORS ALSO INVESTING IN GOLD on: February 01, 2019, 04:21:22 AM
Pulling 4000 Bitcoin investors? In other words, ordering investors to shift focus to an asset with more short term potential, and there is some momentum going for gold so it doesn't really surprise me.

It's quite interesting how he stated that 'we pulled 4000 investors'.

Eh guys, where did you read that? I only saw "we polled 4000 investors" = we asked 4000 investors about their investment choice.

Anyway, Van Eck just re-submit their ETF application according to many sources. I wonder will this cause another swing in the near future, but it's clear that the average joe is not interested in Bitcoin because there is no momentum for it to go higher for now.
