1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: October 30, 2018, 02:22:19 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

No l will not cotinue because there's another time to continue if l will continue maybe l can not go home for having no fuel if l lose the game.

Indeed there are other days but as I know, most people will in rush every time they lose a large amount of money and want to chase it as soon as possible even with the very hot money. I think in such situations, people will continue to gamble hoping to get a miracle. And what if they lose, they will think about it later. Stop is the right decision if we don't want to get further problem.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the most important thing on: October 30, 2018, 01:04:13 PM
Of course, besides using a good strategy, patience is also needed in managing Cryptocurrency.
I think there are a lot of people out there who don't have patience and eventually they experience a lot of losses because they don't take into account anything.
I think that in drawing conclusions the decision must be careful and must be patient.

Patience is indeed needed but accuracy in selling and buying is also very decisive. Patience will be more likely to be aimed at those who are in a loss condition. They really have to be patient waiting until their investment value rises again.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: October 30, 2018, 04:43:51 AM
Hard work doesn't work in luck games that depend on rolls and nothing else. If you play dice or slots you can spend months playing and you still won't learn anything new. It only works on skill games like poker. An experienced poker player will read you like an open book.

And mostly that comes from experience by playing over time. Very little because of hard work. A lucky guy can beat you over and over again even if you work "hard" To try to win.

The harder we try in gambling, the more things that will bother our minds. For example, we will find many new strategies that we certainly want to try. Such things will keep us in gambling habit for a long time without a target which will surely bad in the long run. And yes, a newbie can have the better luck than the experienced one. Luck won't care who the person who will get it.
1164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 30, 2018, 03:13:36 AM
Day trading is more profitable than long-term trading. For a newbie without experience and assertiveness, you can not day trading. Long-term trading will be better for you.

Both long and short term trading can be profitable. But if we talk about the easiness, long term trading will be better because we don't need to stay in the trading platform daily and we won't be bothered with every stuffs that might give stress to us.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: October 29, 2018, 02:34:55 PM
I play different kind of games online because it's very entertaining. However, among them I have my favorite, which is sports betting.

In my many years of being a gambling, I have different ups and downs but this sports gambling although I am not still in the profitable side but I am slowly learning how to win it, in addition, the fact that you can watch the game live and see our favorite players, it will only give additional excitement.
I agree, I also play sports betting sometimes and even if I lose it is okay because I am not really addicted into it, I am just playing if I want to and it is enjoyable to watch our favorite team in sports betting.

Betting on sports games is fun especially if we also watch the game. There are expressions that appear both happy and sad and sometimes we shout, swear and so on. I do sports betting also but not too often. Dice is my main game.
1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the Best Coins to Buy? on: October 29, 2018, 10:36:26 AM
In todays conditions - probably it is BTC and only then ETH, then all of the top 10 coins, I'd diverse my portfolio just the way I wrote.

Bitcoin and ethereum are great choice for long term holding. With both coins, I have a confidence even though for example I leave it for some period of time. I do believe that both coins, bitcoin and ethereum, development will keep up to date and the number of its supporters will increase from time to time.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: October 29, 2018, 03:09:04 AM
>> so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them?

Personally, if I know that the person has an addictive personality, then I wouldn't teach them. Alternatively, I would tell them that I don't know enough about the game to teach them or I would tell them to find an online "how to play" guide.

It is better to tell them to start by doing. Ask them to create an account on a gambling site and experiment with all the future using the free/test money a site offers. I am sure, in the last than a week the person will be familiar with 'how to play' thing. But the end result from gambling will depend on each personality. The technical aspect is just a factor to determine whether we will be good or bad in gambling. The other aspect that will be hard to learn is, how to contol our mind during our gambling games.
1168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Education for Cryptocurrency trading? on: October 29, 2018, 02:02:54 AM
Hi

Did anyone find a good place to get a crypto trading education?

Freemium or Premium...

I know some platforms offer it for free (very basic) and there is also Udemy but I am looking for real traders that offer something price-worth:)

Since trading will involve emotion on each actions we made, the basic knowledge will be enough. You need to develop your own skill especially in the field that will involve mood. There are some places that offer trading signal but that isn't the good place to find out an education.
1169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: October 28, 2018, 01:24:39 PM
We should make some researches in regards with the coin where we already lost a lot in it. If there is still possibility for the coin to go up again then it is better to hold it. And if we found something bad about the coin which will ruin the development of the coin, it is better to make  cut the loss and moving forward with the other coins.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: October 28, 2018, 08:47:03 AM
My opinion of a good gambler is that person never come to gamble with a small amount of money. Truly gamblers win only when bets are high.

This is obviously not correct opinion, good gamblers cant be determined by their bet amount. Any rich person can do that and bet it blindly with 50/50 chance, it does not mean they are good gamblers. Good gamblers should be those who can manage themselves during gambling. Including emotion management, money management and others.

Yes, good gamblers cannot be determined from the results obtained but from how a gambler manages his activities so that he does not fall into the valley of misery due to his actions. The ability to manage emotions and finance are two of the most basic things if we wanted to be a good gambler.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: October 28, 2018, 06:09:33 AM
sometimes self-control when gambling is very important. because when you start to lose more than the money that is brought, but your friends prevent you from standing up and even lend to you, it is the beginning of your destruction. when you bring in enough capital and when it runs out it must stop immediately.

At every occasion, self control will be important and not just for sometime. Whether we are on the loss or win, we have to be very wisely to pick the best decision for ourselves. With no self control, everyone will end badly in gambling.
1172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be a newbie trader. I avoided losing money. how? on: October 28, 2018, 05:13:42 AM
No one can avoid loss in trading. That is the risk we should accept before we decided to get involved in this type of business. If there is a way to avoid such losses, sure everyone will make it as their only thing to get money. Profit and lose are two common things in trading.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 27, 2018, 02:21:07 PM
It will be a tough match for Cardiff City when they are playing against Liverpool at the stadium of Anfield, I guess we might see a lot of goal scoring actions today in this match, as Cardiff City have already conceded a total of 19 goals in 9 matches played, and I believe Liverpool would surely want to claim all the 3 points from Cardiff City today.

Liverpool for sure won't let Cardiff City to get even a single point from this match. 19 minutes of the first half and Liverpool already lead by a goal from M. Salah. I am sure there will be more goals to be created tonight.
1174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: October 27, 2018, 12:07:43 PM
Even in this case it is better hold the cryptocurrencies that you have. 15% loss is really not too much but you will be in minus if you sell everything. Be more patient.

You are wrong, a 15% loss will make people panic about their holdings. After all majority of the holders of coins are speculating on how the bubble becomes and not the intrinsic use of a coin. Thus they are prone to panic. Usually those who play the day trading game, know when to exit but if you are hodling then you will get alarmed and in dire cases might get afraid and sell off your holding. For bitcoin to drop its not of much significant because it will go back up surely and gradually.

But for altcoins - you might want to question your ideals of holding - it becomes a personal choice in the end obviously.

Declining the investment values in the large number will certainly make people panic but how these people manage their feelings so as not to direct them to make the wrong decisions is what we must learn. Up and down in values from our investment are the two things that can't be avoided.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investments? on: October 27, 2018, 10:05:26 AM
When big boys enter the picture, the rule has changed. Bitcoin then becoming a fprm of investments, and no longer the original vision of satoshi, iguess its really inevitable, specially during the 2016-2017 when it peaked at around$20,000. It become a speculative asset, and others tske that as a opportunity, trying to make quick bucks, or even putting thier whole life-savings hoping to become rich.

The initial goal of bitcoin has been turned along with the number obstacles being encountered. Now, many people use bitcoin as a way to get profit from its price fluctuations through investment, trading and so on. Maybe in the future the use of bitcoin will be even more varied.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 26, 2018, 01:03:29 PM
There are a lot of chances that people can gamble, like when you try a drinking game, where you watch a movie, and you are going to drink when that character do a specific thing or something like that. I have done that, and it's entertaining but it's not that common to do anymore

I have a lot of multiplayer games in my PS4, like Tekken, UFC, Injustice, etc. My friends and I don't go to competitions, but we make our own, we start betting stuff or sometimes just money with whoever who wins the bracket.

Has anyone made a simple competition with friends and won a lot of money? Or something out of the ordinary, instead of playing in the casino but still having the chance to earn money. Share your thoughts.

In the past I did such games too like guessing the serial number of a car that passing by. But over time, it is very hard to meet with my fellow gamblers and I don't play games like that anymore. Frankly, we did such games when we are bored only.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy new coins? on: October 26, 2018, 10:34:34 AM
I rarely want to buy new coins, but many investors buy new coins in the market, or they buy them at the time of the sale of the ICO, but I suggest you do research before you buy a new ICO coin, because for me very risky, for example, we will choose wrongly, and I personally prefer to buy coins that have long been in the market, which has lowered the price.

It is very risky if we buy new coins from the new projects since there are numerous scam projects. It will be better to see the development of a project for at least a year and make the decision based on our own reserches.
1178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right? on: October 25, 2018, 01:39:03 PM
I don't think so, not everyone is losing their money when the market goes down because everyone has their own way to survive and overcome current market conditions, because I see many who take this opportunity to get profit
Agreed that everyone has their own method and experience to survive in this market but when the market falls, this is always something very unexpected, not too many people can react to it, and so I believe most people lose money. The case without losing money is just some lucky ones and whales, and as you say, this is an opportunity to make a profit, but in reality, our money is in trouble and forced to hold, not too many people can take advantage of this opportunity, the market is always under control and beyond our knowledge

Only people who buy coins while the price is high from today and still hold it until now who will suffer from the downtrend. But to try to cover up the previous decision, we can buy again at the current price and hold it for a period of time. At least we will have the opportunity if one day prices will rise again.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Popular Betting Strategies on: October 25, 2018, 10:46:48 AM
IMO, it's depend on what type of gambling do you play.
For example :
dice , martiangle is great way to earn quick profit
Poker, if you have guts and luck , you will win big ,today

So there are no guarantee that same strategy will make you win, you need to improved your strategy and recycle with new one every period.

My opinion on martingale was always negative. It seems to work at first and than it doesn't and you lose it all. If martingale was a strategy that allowed to earn quick profit, like you are saying, people would be using it all the time and casinos would have to forbid it. They aren't forbidding it because it doesn't work.
Card counting in blackjack used to work but it doesn't in an online casino. For it to work you have to know they have only 1 deck, not 3 or 4.

There is no perfect strategy in gambling and no exception with martingale. Martingale works for some time but if we use it over and over again, sure there will be a time when we won't able to continue our game due to lack of balance,  surpass the max bet that allowed on a gambling site and so on.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 25, 2018, 07:29:05 AM
Many beginners want's to become a trader, but they are skipping the process and start looking for an exchange as much as possible without knowing how to trade well. Trading is not that easy, it requires a lot of research, and analysis treat trading as your Job!

One of my friend asked me about the current exchange he is using, and what coins to buy so he can make profit. Well, I don't give any advice regarding on this one because for me if you want to make profit you should know it on your own. I just give some advice that if he really wants to become a trader, go take the process, learn more and you will see what coins to buy especially during this bear trend.

How do you see your trading activities? Are you just here to buy and sell or you are here to have more good coins and hold it until you make profit?

Yes, trading isn't an easy thing to do if we want to survive longer in the business. There are too many coins out there and if we intend to be familiar with most of them it will be very difficult. For trading activities, it will be better if we focus only on few coins therefore it will be more manageable. My trading activities depend on many factors. News, pattern and feeling in combination.
