1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A no-Bitcoin friend turned a old Bitcoiner on: June 22, 2023, 04:08:52 AM
Why would someone try to hide their Bitcoin involvement from their friends that tried to teach them all this while?

If you don't get the point mate ? sorry to say and sadly to understand that Your friend seems to be not treating you a true friend because he tries to secure His knowledge and bitcoin from you meaning one thing , that he even consider you as a threat back then and just recently that he give trust on you when he finally realized and get to believe you are in bitcoin.

i can also relate in this but it is me that denies my friend to learn about my dealing in bitcoin and crypto .
once he PMed me in messenger about his newly found money making site( it is a crypto site but not bitcointalk) he tells me that he is now generating income from His investment in Bitcoin but I show no complete interest , but sooner when bitcoin price experience bad time? he leave and never trust bitcoin as losses comes his way so now I realized that better that he did not come to learn my involvement in crypto because he is not truly a believer .
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 22, 2023, 02:22:07 AM

Opinion One, a few people called Professional Gambler take gambling as a job for a living. These people have the skills to make that happen. My scheme is working on that. But it looks like so scam to many dudes, so you judge it on your own risk.

In every profiteering areas such as investments , gambling or even in online job there are a scam luring meaning we are attracting scammers to put their skills and abilities to take our money.
so since you mentioned gambling as a professional career then I also assume that it is expected to have legit and scam site though lucky for me that I keep choosing only legitimate site that I never become a victim of those scammers .

Hope some moderator can lock this thread for good now.
Hi mate, I don't think the moderator will lock this thread for whatever reasons so long as the thread has not violated the rule of this board but seeing now that the casino have two active ANN thread which is a total no-no on this board we can still report the thread to be locked or deleted and also for the fact that scam is not moderated by the forum so at that members have the sole responsibility of protecting themselves from falling victim to scam casino, by way of getting information and adherence to warnings.

-And also we will be seeing such pump up Of the thread from time to time and there is nothing much we can do about that too, but we can at least get such users. On our ignore list that way we will not see future posts from the user.
wrong mate , it can be locked not only for having 2 ANN Thread and also if we will prove that the conversation in this topic is malicious and can mislead people into scamming or other similar bad things.

Maybe reporting the thread to Moderator will help us increasing the possibilities of this being locked.

Sergei Karshkov, co-founder of the bookmaker office 1xBet, has died

not sure if this will help by any chance to restore 1xbit name from this forum and out and also if you can completely differentiate the site of 1xbit to 1xbet because the way people see it? both are scammers .
1164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 21, 2023, 04:32:16 AM
Suggestion to duebits in case the team is active here.

I think there is a slight error when one is trying to sign up. Obviously, before one signs up, they need to carefully read the terms, but the link to the TOS seems inactive in this page (https://duelbits.com/?modal=Auth&type=register). This means new users can even sign up without reading the TOS or even confirming that they have read the TOS which I see with most platforms

The user will have to go back and look for the link in the homepage, that is, if they care.
Will quote it here so be bumped for the looking of the team as for me this is also important part of the site for the benefits of fair gaming for new users(as we already understand and have faith in this site being players for years)
the main target here are the players that will at least need to deal being new member.
and I will also PM OP about this at least he will take a look if it really important to address or take an action.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 21, 2023, 04:13:38 AM
People are saying that gambling is not good so nobody should involved themselves in it. Fathers/Mothers (parents) are shouting to their sons and sometimes beating them all because of gambling. If you are a gambler, the society sees you as a bad boy or person or a waste person in the family. Parents would be saying "look at your age mates, they are going to school and become a successful persons in the society, you are here playing gambling". They would even say, gamblers steal and thieves.
And really when you look at some of those boys they play Draft game morning till evening. Upon all these allegations against gambling. People are still Gambling. WHY? Is There Any Mystery Behind?

this is what I found in internet in which I think appropriate answer for this thread

"Even when you're losing while you're gambling, your body is still producing adrenalin and endorphins," he says. “People are buying entertainment.” This is backed up by a 2009 study by researchers from the University of Stanford in California, who found that around 92% of people had “ ” below which they would not go.

and this is the link :  https://www.google.com/search?q=why+people+still+gamble+even+if+they+are+losing&oq=why+people+still+gamble+even+if+they+are+losing&aqs=chrome..69i57.16636j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Not sure what others may think or what are their reason but what I do believe is that gambling is designed for us to feel such this demand and desire .

I am a gambler myself and yes i am a loser but still gamble till now.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin become The General Currency in the Future? on: June 21, 2023, 04:05:02 AM
According to evolution of money, trade was first done with the barter system, then it evolved to commodity money using Gold and it's kind, then into metal coins then paper money, later transactions where done with plastic cards, before it's evolved into electronic money and now crypto currency.
About years ago El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender and there are speculations that other countries would also adopt it in the nearest future now my question is, with bitcoin being the leading crypto currency is there a tendency that it would become the generally used currency worldwide?

But even EL Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin the world already let Bitcoin being used in many countries though there are no formal adoption like what that country did,
what I mean here is that Bitcoin already dominating the online money system (at least in some part of the world) and with that we can see the potential of being the main currency if the world continue its acceptance and the discrimination and the FUD will stopped , government only need to accept the fact that crypto is the currency of the future.

1168  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Presyo ng bitcoin umangat on: June 21, 2023, 02:26:25 AM
dahil napatunayan na natin after every bear the price will go Bull.

Medyo umangat tayo ngayon ah, nasa $28k, kasi nitong mga nakaraang linggo eh parang nasa $25k-$26k or even $27k ang price range natin.

And tanong eh ma maintain ba natin tong pag angat ngayon? mahigit 5.x% in the last 24 hours na tayo.

pa 29k na nga eh as i posts this one , since this week parang nag up and down ang price sa 27-28k ngunit parang now may momentum na , pag na break natin ulit and 30k usd value , then malamang na naka recover na tayo sa issue ng Binance nitong nakaraang linggo.konting oras na lang eh makikita na natin ulit 30k and then  another position ang dapat ma break .
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im coutious about xrp warning on: June 20, 2023, 04:35:02 AM
Im caotious about xrp ,why ?
Becouse i make my financial decisions based what the big guys and whales do it.
What i see ? It doesnt apply for the benchmark legimate rules to be trusted enough.
I see xrp not favoured by them it's secret but If you can read the info and you know rules also of SEC then you get the idea.
Instead of XRP i'll choose XLM stellar.
To be honest i don't put any money on xrp it's one of the coins from what i stay out XRP does not seems to me legit project.
I just don't like to take unneccesary risks.

So no matter how much FOMO and hype xrp has...Im out of this project.
Try checking this thread mate  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452575.0 as there are lots of comments about either Bitcoin or XRP to be invested and you will also find how bad some looks about xrp's future.
How sure are you that SEC won't come for XLM as well?

Here is another valid point , the SEC nowadays are acting accordingly against crypto and no matter how good the coin is , they will still look for something they can trigger its vanishing or their winning.
1170  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: BINANCE urged to be BANNED in the PHILIPPINES on: June 20, 2023, 03:35:29 AM

If the license is the issue here, sana noon pa sila nagingay with regards to this one, hopefully makipagcoordinate si Binance at sana wag nila tayo iwan because of this issue. With regards to local exchanges, dapat kase mag improve den sila sa tamang paraan.
lalo nat nasampolan na ang malalaking crypto mixing company so what more pa silang mga exchangers ?
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A hilarious video that shows so many persons ignorance about bitcoin on: June 20, 2023, 02:56:22 AM
I read somewhere in this forum, I can't particularly place the section but the person said, there's no one in this century who hasn't heard about Bitcoin and who doesn't know the future it holds for us and I was of the opinion that that can't be true.

Judging from my immediate family, I could tell my parents may know that there's something called Bitcoin and that's because myself and siblings hold random discussions about it.

Going through my Facebook account yesterday, I also discovered a very funny trending hilarious video that support my notion.

https://www.facebook.com/kobokocomedian/videos/1312697769656434/?app=fbl😂😂😂

Lol viral videos ? another personal purpose and to gain attention as they care
nothing about bitcoin but themselves .
you have been in this market for how many years yet you still buy those kind of tricks?  Grin
The host has no sense, he asking people from street to choose between half bitcoin and 2 million, obviously people going to take 2 million. If I don't google the exchange rate of Nigerian currency I would have 2 million instead of half bitcoin. OP not everyone here is from your country and it is really hard to get the context of your video. Don't be lame like the host of the video you shared.
another stupid videos that seeks attention and what is more stupid? is that OP shared it here when we care nothing about what they stand .

1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 20, 2023, 01:22:57 AM
This only comes for those who are dedicated in gambling and not just for the bonuses and lets be truth mate as that is why being called "BONUS" ? because it is just a bonus meaning that is only given to those who are playing and not for someone that expect just to surely pocket money .

Gambling is a business mean what? people inside the team wanted to earn and not to give away money.

and simple solution ? don't play for bonuses instead play for what you believe the site that can give you more chances to win(depend on what you believe in)

I don't understand why you say first we need to wager 50x times the deposit "x25 (D+B) = x50" and then you say we need to wager 50x times the deposit+the bonus "(wager 200*50=10k)" You've made a mistake I think. If the customer deposits $100 he will need to wager 50 x 100 = 5000$ or  (100 + 100) x 25 = 200 x 25 = 5000$

You're probably right about this. The wager requirement is for the bonus, not the deposit.
Although the casino has it calculated, if you see it from the player's perspective, let's say he plays with a $1 wager, so $100 gives 100 dice rolls, or slot spins, or whatever he chooses to play, but $200 allows for 200. The player benefits from it, even though the math is not in his favor, because he could be at a win after 100 rolls, but he'll still have to make more, putting the won amount at stake. That's what the casino wants, so that he keeps playing even if he gets a win early in the game, so a bonus can be somewhat limiting if you get lucky fast.
the computation seems to be correct and OP overestimated the amount to be wagered .

So there is ongoing giveaway from Roobet on Twitter in which you have to guess the number to get prize of $50 and still nobody has guessed it so be fast as it's already 2 days so maybe any one of us get the exact number what Mr Roo might be thinking

Source: https://twitter.com/Roobet/status/1669468548337639426?t=PkuchQtdB0vtGsYZvwMVPw&s=19
Have not visited roobet twitter for months now , thank you for sharing this as I will now
be more active in joining their events in other platform aside from Bitcointalk.org events.

have you partaken mate? fail as well to guess?

short time remaining so all of those looking for give away from roobet better join this one.

THIS! I really hope that they do something that is similar in mindset, like a community participation thing and we can all enjoy it. I am not a designer or painter or anything like that so the ART competition concept is lovely to see and I love to check out the winners each time but I can't join it, so it would be lovely if we could have something that others could join as well.

that is the sad reality about the art contest , only few from the community can join because art is a skill and not everyone or many have this  Grin

1177  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Stay Lowkey lang tayo on: June 17, 2023, 02:10:41 AM
Some are posting their winnings for the marketing purposes pero syempre baka talaga isipin ng iba na sobrang laki na talaga ng pera mo, this is why I’m also not posting anymore related to Bitcoin, yung kahit na gustong gusto ko pero di ko gagawin kase nga mataas ang expectation ng iba.

If you want to be more successful and safe, better to do this on your own and just focus on your goal.
<snip>

1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 16, 2023, 01:46:47 AM
   -   The number 2 is probably already included here most people get rich quickly by winning a large amount of jackpot. Many hope and participate that this is the answer to the difficulties they are facing.

Even though they know it's impossible to happen but they still do it because they hold on to luck or maybe they'll get lucky as if it's no different from betting on the lottery which with a small amount of capital will turn into millions.

Source : https://silentbet.com/reasons-why-people-gamble/
Leading to a big Jackpot win is something they want and hope that they can win but it's all difficult but impossible for many people to get it, and they still depend on luck to realize their wealth from the Jackpot.

Another reason is for the sake of fun and entertainment, which is what they have done a lot and I say they are very wise if they do gambling, for example, by thinking that the pleasure of playing at gambling can relieve their stress, although that does not rule out that every defeat there must be disappointment.

For me it depends on how we interpret it, I myself am more into fun not for the sake of realizing to get big wins.
win or fun? both can be presented in gambling .
I myself wanted to have fun but I also wanted to have winning in case there is a given luck in my side .
but suddenly there is a lot of losses but I tried to minimize my losing streak and standing the table once there is no luck coming soon.
means one thing I can control myself from losing and that is the attitude we must use when we are in gambling.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: June 16, 2023, 12:28:59 AM
If you are wondering to send cross-chain transactions then it's not possible or it will not possible in the future. Somehow coin should convert either by you or automatically by an exchange.
actually I was wondering this and yes I know that it is impossible but still hoping that someday(at least in the near future that this will come  to reality)

Bumping the thread for more accurate and reliable answer as I believe many of us wanted this to less the hassle of trading.

and also Swapping nowadays has high fee (at least to those i have tried )

Just like the title says is it Possible to "Directly Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet in the future"?

I mean not like now that from Exchange we need to convert first to what Coins we need to receive before sending to our wallet , but is there any chance in the future that there will be Platform or system that we will be letting to do such?

Example = i have Ethereum and i want to receive Ripple , in which i don't need to convert to Ripple first before sending in which i can directly sent the ethereum and i will receive ripple to my wallet?
Such kind of thing really need centralization and going to work like exchange with extra bit of fee for better convenience or literally there is no way to receive bitcoin when you send an altcoin because both are from completely different exchange and the valuation of 1 btc = 1 btc = ripple? Only exchange can decide that value.
Yeah I don't care if it is centralized or decentralized but at least if this is possible in some way in the future.
