I won If you did win, you are the first person to be able to sell BTB at a rate of 1 BTB for more than 1 BTC
|
|

There's no need to estimate, the client will tell you exactly with "getinfo" command.

5 BTC
Really? Want to buy 5,000 CNC for 5 BTC too? Rofl. Lol. CNC isnt worth that much anyways It was a joke, why the hell would he pay 5 btc for bitbars? Because BTB is the first coin that has exactly what I want in a crypto-currency, I plan to divest 50% of my BTC holdings into BTB.

Donated a little over 0.54 to the faucet (my fractional earnings over the last full unit). Should give you another 54 freebies. Confirmed, also I decided to keep sending during lunch.

I want to try and mine some using Reaper, but what conf do I use and how do I get the bitbars and send them to my wallet?
I was never successful with reaper, always crash. I use cgminer. You put the solo mining conf file (bitbar.conf) in your bitbar data folder (usually in %appdata% on windows). Look up a solo mining guide. You'll have to run the client and let it catch up the blocks, when you find a block, the BTB will auto appear in your wallet. Where do you get these confs? You just make them yourself? yes you just copy paste what you need to put in there, for example this is what my bitbar.conf looks like: rpcuser=user rpcpassword=x server=1 daemon=1 rpcport=8106 rpcport=8108 Then you start your client with the "-server" flag, for example (bitbar-qt.exe -server), point your cgminer at -o 127.0.0.1:8106 -u user -p x

I dont understand. There was no premine? Ftc and chn had same launches. It is not a premine just because you disnt find out about it right away and are bitter about that. Those that "premined" lts made like 100btc and at current prices so you point is mute.
Everyone just accuses pre-mining when they dont find out soon enough or cant mine fast enough or something. To be honest, I almost said that with FeatherCoins, but then I mined and was able to get a few tens of thousands (: How do people have such high hash rates and be able to constantly point them to new alt currencies? Do they just build their own rig? 20MH is just 10 rigs if you had the space and power requirement, I think it's not difficult. I constantly see people on LTC pool with 200MH mining farms under a single user. Pointing them to new alt currency is very easy, just download new client and put the conf file. You can even share the folder and just do 1 copy for all 10 rigs. The hard part is finding the space, and power to run your farm, I have the money to buy 100 rigs if I wanted, but I can't find a cheap place with cheap electricity, as I live in an area with very high electricity rates and real estate price.

It's a trivial clone. It can be done on a weekend for a programmer familiar with forking bitcoin, maybe a few days more to get familiar with ppcoin. Most of your touted innovations were actually done by me, with ppcoin.
+1 Sunny was the first one so successfully implement POS in a coin. And Yahoo was the first one to have a search engine. Sunny is a good developer and ppcoin is very innovative, but being SHAxxx kills the deal for me. Also I always wanted a high value per unit alt-currency.

Disclosure: Just a joke, but we need more transparency and detail about these "expenses" and they seem to be pretty high. I own more than 30k shares in S.Dice
Disclosure: Those expenses account for less than 5% of gross profit for the month...though transparency would be nice, EV has no obligation to provide such information. I owned more than 20k shares in S.Dice...if you don't like the way the company is run, sell your shares. No, for THIS month, we don't know if the expenses are contracted in USD terms or BTC. If for example BTC rise to $1000, then monthly profit will probably fall to 500 BTC or less range, how would you like half of shareholder profits are eaten up in "expense"? Being a S.Dice shareholder was not particularly rewarding recently, wouldn't you agree? your S.Dice share price is 50% of 2 month ago.

I agree with one thing, coinlab isn't getting 75M, they'll be lucky if mtgox agrees to settle for 1M if mtgox was in breach of contract, probably even less.
But if a contract was made between coinlab and mtgox, there will be break up fees for sure.

We already have one US exchangers no one seems to be using - campbx.com (1% volume of gox).
Problem is who knows when it will pull a "bitfloor" or ZhouTonged when it gains popularity, I would put money at a company that has VC support (coinbase, coinlab). They are less likely to have their bank account banned for playing exchange as a teenager, or get hacked due to lack of technical expertise.
