1182  Other / Beginners & Help / Don't accept 0 confirmation tx on: October 03, 2020, 03:18:35 PM
Check this thread- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279758.0
OP has been scammed because they accepted tx without a single confirmation. It's possible to manipulate a tx in such cases where scammer will send you the fund and make sure they have received what they have paid for and later they will create another tx with higher fee with the same input. The later tx will get confirmed and yours one will be invalid.
Therefore, don't accept zero confirmation tx. Wait for at least 1 confirmation.

Everton - brighton
I think Everton will win that game with few difficulties
Took risk for a very little amount due to the odd and went with Brighton to win as they had some good performance. Got hope when they came back with 1-1 but now again Everton is leading with 2-1.

If Manchester City mess up their game when they play against Leeds United today, they will surely have a hard time catching up with Liverpool on the table.
Leeds are having good times in their last few matches and it's possible United to mess up in this match.

I'm confused how much matches are there on Sunday accoeding to your said time for the soccer prediction competition. It would good to have a market total over under goal in all these matches where total number of matches will be included. Or can someone point me a way to get all the matches on the said time? I have sofascore app installed on my phone but still I'm havibg haed times to figure out.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: Can DeFi be called Decentralized Bank? on: October 02, 2020, 05:23:43 PM
In the financial sector, the banking part is probably only a few percent of the pie.
There are a lot of financial institution which actually can be called as bank and the activities I mentioned above can be typed as commercial bank (partially) or Virtual Bank as well. I'm trying to compare both traditional banking and DeFi and come to a conclusion about the necessity of traditional bank in future.
Well, I guess I gotta research a bit more on DeFi. I have read a few articles only. I know that DeFi is more than what I have shared. Can't we get Banking services through DeFi? I guess we can.
Thank you for your valuable input, jackg.
1186  Other / Meta / Re: The implications of using another user system to login account. on: October 02, 2020, 05:13:48 PM
1. Since forum does allow multi accounts, there's no problem if someone log in from the same IP (Considering they are using device of other people and the their, other peoples, internet connection. But if someone else uses your account, that would be a bad as they can be harmful to the account owner and other forum members as well.
2. If they use the source, I think they are fine. In terms of informational article like "How to sign a message" or etc. it can't be called plagiarism. On the other hand, when peoole steal idea of other people, that's plagirism and sharing the source or crediting the original owner is a must.
1187  Economy / Economics / Can DeFi be called Decentralized Bank? on: October 02, 2020, 05:00:25 PM
I don't have much knowledge on DeFi; till now, DeFi is offer a wide variety of financial transactions through blockchain which a traditional banks offer, for instance; Lending, Borrowing etc. If these are the activities of DeFi projects, can we call DeFi project a Decentralized bank? Nothing much important, was going through DeFi for a while and it seems kind of bank to me. That's why I am here to discuss with you guys.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat game 1.

Is it me (215) and TwistedWarrior (213) both win the prediction game ?  Wink
The total score is 214. therefore, I guess you both are the winners. You have won the soccer one as well? Congratulations dude.

Two things I'm confused-
1. Granada vs Osasuna match is cancelled long ago. Why my staked amount isn't refunded yet?
2. Why in cricket there's no option like "Win including super over). I have won the first & last cricket bet but due to winning in superover, the bet was suspended and thus refunded. But it would be good to have win including super over.

WELCOME TO THE NBA FINAL EVERYONE, GET YOUR BETS READY FOR GAME 1 and don't forget you join the competition in the games and rounds board.
I have no idea how much scores a match usually get in NBA. Just followed some of yours prediction and picked one random number  Cheesy I guess I'm gonna be the winner.

Is superbru pool broken? Anyone facing that or I'm the only one? When I tried to check out the leaderboard, it redirects me into a wrong link.
Finally, SRH got their win. Even with scoring such a low total, they managed to win the match with their bowling performance. Well, SRH needs some game changing batsman to score faster as they were lack of such one tonight.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 27, 2020, 10:02:21 PM
As for me I'd rather bet in one $50 than $10 in 5 games, especially if I'm quite sure about the bet that's easy peasy.
In soccer, there's no eash peasy win, man, you know that. For instance, the current UCL champion Bayern Munich has lost to a normal team in Bundesliga; surprisingly almost everyone was playing other than Lewandowski. You can never be sure in soccer. This is where the risk is. You will never have good odds when you pick such good team expecting to have 100% win. The return will be low but once slipped, yoh have to lose a big amount.
Thanks for your suggestion though.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 27, 2020, 05:38:27 PM
Jeez, where's the match heading to? What a worse bowling from Cottrel! 5 sixes in an over! It was a pretty easy win for KXIP but now match has turned into new direction.
And Shami to Jofra Archer! 2 sixes!
Drama over drama.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 27, 2020, 05:09:43 PM
I have been gambling a lot these days with soccer matches but I'm not enough lucky to make a profit. Howeber, I'm not into huge loss. It's very tiny amount if I check all the previous P/L.
I don't bet big amount. Usually, I bet $4/$5 worth of BTC on a lot of matches; sometimes I win and sometimes I loss. But that can't make me any profit.
Should I go for bigger amount of bets on few matches or stay with current strategy (placing many bets of small amounts)?
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 27, 2020, 02:57:54 PM
Yesterday, I got my first points  Grin Today my pick is KXIP, let's see if I'm able to continue my winning streak.
I'm also here with 1 point, don't be upset, dude. But we will have a difference tonight, either me or you as we have bet tonight for two differents team.
Mayank and Rahul seem not be stopping tonight. May be another century?
1197  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: September 27, 2020, 02:48:02 PM
Got lucky tonight so far. Have won 2 matches with odd above 2.6; any risked some sats for Bayern to draw the match. I have risked a little with 4.25 odd  Cheesy Ni double chance though.

Somehow I am not convinced about the "Instant withdrawals". How instant is instant? Most sites only post this kind information to lure customers.
Or has a certain mechanism been built in whereby amounts up to a certain amount are automatically paid out?
I'm yet to have an withdraw from betbtc; unlucky most of the times as I ccouldn't win at a row. Have lost a few bets last night too which I expected to win; even I was sure about winning some matches and they were leading the score at some point.

I think only this week will be paid out with 0.01 BTC (probably because the competition the didn't get the needed exposure, it was made know barely ~ 2 days ago) but subsequent weeks would be 0.05 BTC
Yeah, that's the reason I guess. However, the reward will be 0.06 BTC if you create a tweet; 0.01 BTC bonus. Sounds cool.

Although this statement is enough to have idea about your claim, still I would trust all of your claims if you had provided enough proofs. There's no proof. If you even claim some more, no one would trust. Bring proof or stop writing craps.

PS- @suchmoon, don't mind the quote.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 26, 2020, 05:42:45 PM
Vishnu is rocking. Only he got the margin point tonight as well. It has been a long time I got a single point. Ni more hope to be the champ.
SRH needs to improve a lot. Despite losing a few wickets, they couldn't go for bigger. Their opening is off form specially Warner isn't in his shape.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Utilizing Blockchain Technology for patent information on: September 26, 2020, 05:31:29 PM
There is blockchain based project through which one can register, verify their file. I can't remember the name exactly at the moment though. However, to have them used or adopted globally, unless some of the courts or WIPO or such organizations allow the usage of such projects, I guess no way people will use it.
