1181  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: gdzie rozdają kryptowaluty za darmo? on: April 04, 2022, 03:57:52 PM

https://bithub.pl/kryptowaluty/portfele/z-metamask-korzysta-dziennie-juz-21-000-000-uzytkownikow/

No klasyfikacji danych mogę wymyślać bez liku.
A czy to się odbywa... pewnie tak ;-)

This means that you need to focus on making sure that the people in your casinos are having fun.

hehe, you are right. Especially on freebitco fun is important.
So, not to lose my fun, yesterday I have locked my FUN for 360 days. I will see on March 27th '23 if it was a good decision. I hope so.

That is a brave decision for you to lock the FUN token for full one year. I don't know if it's a good decision or bad as we never know what will be the overall conditions of the market at that time. However, as most people say that holding is the best way to make money in crypto, i do hope that fun token increases its value over time and you can get a big return from your investment.

In fact I have nothing to lose, I do not expect a huge increase in rice in upcoming weeks (maybe it will be even opposite, if BTC goes up), so I decided to gain with their 25% lock interest.
In the meantime I plan to launch my WOFs and buy more. I wonder how much it will take to collect 50k FUNs.
1183  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WifSolverCuda - new project for solving WIFs on GPU on: April 04, 2022, 03:20:02 PM
update:

v 0.4.7
I have improved memory management, now default configuration for single rtx3090 uses less than 100MB of RAM. previous it was more than 900MB

In the meantime I have added progress indicator, resume from status file and some other minor changes.

v 0.4.8
Support for segwit/p2sh addresses

v 0.5.0
I have changed the way how memory/data transfer is managed and if it is possible I use memory from host. It should not be a problem, even for sets with 4-8 cards on one host. Speed is improved up to 10%, but still it is good to play with number of blocks/threads/steps processed per thread.
On 3080Ti I process around 4000 MKey/s for WIF with missing beginning, I think it is a good result.

v0.5.2
I have prepared a new release, 0.5.2, it could be mini-mini-minimally better, as I decreased some unnecessary latency. But displayed speed probably will be lower - what was until now was a bit too optimistic (I was dividing work done by full seconds, when I divide by miliseconds result is closer to reality). On 3080ti I see speed +-3.830, but now we see it fluctuates every time is displayed - in old version it was 4.096 all the time.
There is also a new parameter "-v" - verbose output - to display WIF processed in status line - but as it is extra work, it slows down the process (not much but still).
And 2 new parameters "-wifStart -wifEnd" for automatic conversion of provided WIF to range start/end

v0.5.3
https://github.com/PawelGorny/WifSolverCuda/releases/tag/v0.5.3

Added support for P2WPKH addresses (bc1...)

If you are tired and lazy, then do not participate in this process. Write here which dictionaries
You have used and downloaded so that other people do not do the same job twice. Thank You!

Oooh, real gentleman's talk. That's how you make friends?

By the way, I wrote clearly:
I have prepared 4 files for you: 2 based on openwall, 1 from rocktastic12a and 1 from weakpass3w:
Source dictionary was specified in filename.

Could you clarify based on what you assume that password used on that wallet file is for sure in one of leaked passwords list?
You would quickly extend dictionary to desired number of characters (by the way owner should remember if it was 10 or 20 characters, as it is 100% change) using hybrid mode and extending each of known words by custom set of digits or special characters.

Quote
Actually, now that I think of it, I wasn't using ElectrumX at all... I was using electrs (but still running under Ubuntu using WSL)
Although, I no longer have any windows machines. When Microsoft introduced the WSL it was an absolute godsend for any problems you came across with Windows natively. Especially, if you're familiar with Linux systems already.

So, at the end I have finally removed EPS and installed electrs (using WSL) - it costs around 35Gb, but now it works (I mean connection from Trezor Suite). And because of other additional benefit (full scan, not only predefined wallets etc), I will stay with that.

I just hope one day developers (both electrs and electrumx) will make it simpler to install under pure Windows.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: NEED HELP WITH 2010 WALLET.DAT FILE on: April 02, 2022, 02:37:31 PM

Ian Coleman's key compression tool will not accept HEX Private keys, only WIF and BIP38 PrvKeys.

Yes, you are right, my mistake. Lack of coffee - that page accepts public key hex, not private key.

There is also: https://learnmeabitcoin.com/technical/wif but I am not sure if it is possible to run it offline.

I think you have enough passwords. Do not have hope that someone else used the same. In my opinion you should launch a hybrid attack. Think what you would like to append (or prepend) to existing password and prepare the correct mask.

1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I found wallet, but its format is not DAT, but XPT... on: April 01, 2022, 11:34:19 AM
I have a feeling it has nothing to do with crypto/coins.
Probably one of Mozilla's product (maybe Thunderbird) so-called "wallet" for storing passwords. If you google for that, you will find lot of obsolete references to /components/wallet.xpt

https://markmail.org/message/xmbdn2skoynawu5u

The hard disk has just been repaired. After reading and searching, I only found wallet xpt。 Excuse me, is this file a wallet file? Can you recommend me some tools to find the private key in the hard disk (with high security).

pywallet? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5301358.0
Before you start, I think you should do the raw copy/backup of disk, for safety.
1191  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 10000$ Who can help me recall password! on: April 01, 2022, 08:48:44 AM
I think it would be better if you generate the password list, that way you can verify all the possible passwords.

A great tool that I recommend is Crunch:

As example with that command, we can generate al the combinations for the 5 Chars password including Caps and Numbers.

OK, but why?
As he is using hashcat, he may use masks which do the same inside program.
He may also configure mixed mode, where each word from the list could be internally modified, something may be appended etc. And honestly speaking I think he should use this, as relying on pure words list could be not enough.

The only advantage of using crunch I see, is that having precalculated passwords you may externally control the work done, otherwise you must rely on checkpoints saved by hashcat.,
1192  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 10000$ Who can help me recall password! on: April 01, 2022, 08:26:57 AM

2.-We read all the files and send all the passwords that start with 'Ca' to a new file:

Code:
cat *.txt | grep '^Ca*' >> my_dic.txt

Shouldn't it be:
Code:
 grep '^Ca.*$'
?
Your regex in grep returned all lines starting with "C", second character was not limited to 'a'.

1193  Other / Meta / Re: Is the IQ test really necessary? on: April 01, 2022, 07:31:43 AM
I do not know what is the source of questions, but I think it is much much better than captcha.
There is also a place for more annoying improvement - question is hidden, you 'click' to open it and then you have limited time to answer.

BTW is not a really IQ test, it is more a general knowledge test.

Soon it will be available on bpip.org I guess. It would be great to have IQ badge there Wink

I think many were disappointed in the betting price of Bitcoin as European Parliament just voted for a law to ban anonymous transactions to all Europe and exchanges are now required to even verify the out wallet where the money is going, not the smartest move to try and stop people as there is always the P2P which can be done, but overall I am sorry for the people who lost their bets just because of this.

Why do you think anyone lost his bets? The price was going down, but the final price was above 45k, so there was not a instant change.
Anyway, who decided to bet on >45k, made a good decision, odds 6.51, Wow! Just a few more hours and it would be again the "cheap" range 40-45.

I see from your picture that you clicked Spin all maybe and from my personal experience it will be a much bigger pleasure if you play one spin by one, that is the only reason you can still do what you are doing accumulating till the end of the month.I have this superstition although I am not at all superstitious that when you spin one by one you have higher chances of winning bigger prizes as you are seeing the wheel spinning while if you click Spin all,you only see prizes updating at the speed of light so there is no real emotion to that.

They have already clarified that - it is just an illusion. If you have captcha, then indeed, pressing 'spin' button causes roll. But if your session is established, you are logged in and you execute premium WOFs, spinning wheel is just an animation to present the result - the roll was executed long time before.
So at the end I prefer to have instant result in the table, I do not need to look at spinning wheel, as the backside is exactly the same.

Those results really look disappointing, how can you just win only the base rewards from such spins and not a single big rewards from the base ones like the 3500 RP,Satoshis or Lottery tickets with that number of spins. It looks like I am taking the correct route by using them daily,10 spins a day and using the rewards to build up my satoshis balance and the FUN token when I see fit.

I will seriously rethink it, maybe I will start doing that from tomorrow. I like the idea of one big roll at the end of the month (there is a reason to keep them), but as I did not hit anything except the lowest prizes it is not tempting anymore  Sad
Yep, I think I will execute them daily.

Today is the last day of month, so I executed my WOFs:

Results are disappointing for me. BTC price is high so base amount is 35 RP/sat, but still I expected more. I do not think lottery tickets will make any difference for me, only 1890 pure sats... I planned to buy some FUN for rewards from WOFs + gains after BTC price betting, but it will not be a bug amount.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera integrates Bitcoin in there Browser on: March 31, 2022, 09:44:42 AM
Isn’t it something what exists in Brave for a long time?
I am Opera user and supporter since I remember, but honestly speaking I will probably migrate to other everyday browser. I do not understand why they implemented that feature, as they already support Chrome extensions, so there is no need to build anything new.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to create bitcoin wallet address using java and track the payment ? on: March 30, 2022, 08:14:24 PM
Hey

There is a mature java library which will do all you need - generate key (standalone or from seed), address etc.
https://github.com/bitcoinj/bitcoinj

Of course additional layer like saving data in your local database you must do yourself.

Talking about blockchain, the best would be to have local bitcoin node, you may query it using rpc like you said, but you may also configure it to trigger some actions for example for incoming transaction for a given addresses. All that features are described in node’s documentation.

Specify what exactly you want your software to do - monitor given addresses? What exactly is your need? Because if you want for example generate addresses for clients and monitor if payment is sent, there are already a solutions for that.
