1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: September 08, 2017, 01:23:00 PM
I would definetly go with 1 BTC. Sometimes we forget BTC is the main reason we are all here. It's the main coin and probably it will always be.. so it is wiste to think BTC will be ahead of other coins in long term investments.
BTC! BTC! BTC!
Eth is like a trash when compared with bitcoins. It does not stand a chance of selection, it never did. Not just eth but all the other crypto coins are not an option when it comes to the king of the crypto coins world. I prefer bitcoins over ETH.
1182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I short the Bitcoin market? on: September 04, 2017, 12:54:19 PM
Why wouldn't you just google it?

Bitstamp. Btc-e, I think coinbase does it too. In terms of what the differences are, do your own research.
Very well said. Google it and you will find out all the possible ways of doing it and choose whichever best suits you. I think you alone cannot do the task. You definitely need a team of people having enough resources to do this task. Only then you’ll manage to do it in a way which you desire.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: September 04, 2017, 10:53:59 AM
Well when it comes in cryptocurrency yes, bitcoin is the best and the strongest crypto, because we all know that bitcoin has the most big value in cryptocurrency
Based on the market bitcoin is obviously the most popular and valuable.
However, that is only inside the crypto currency because bitcoin cannot compete yet with legal currencies that are
regulated by the government but for private payment processors like paypal, we are going to beat them soon.
There is no doubt that many of the developed countries have made bitcoins legal and are easily dealing with bitcoins in their daily life. Moreover developing countries are also now impressed by the decisions of developed ones and following their steps, making bitcoins legal such as India. Soon the whole world is going to cherish bitcoins.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and banks are using you on: September 04, 2017, 08:40:57 AM
Governments and banks were using each and every one's earnings directly or indirectly, at the same time there are governments and banks that are serving the people and making them grow financially and in terms of technology. This gives the government a combined growth along with the people who are into it.
Truly said! “Using” will not be an appropriate word to use. Thing is that we are dependent on our Government and banks, so are they. I think we both are using each other for our own interests and benefits. We cannot blame our Government that they are using our money and resources.

1185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: starting to trade on: September 04, 2017, 07:35:08 AM
What is the best trading place to start some minor trading on
A lot of the small scale exchange sites such as liqui, and binance seems to be a good place for you to start some minor trade. This time is the correct time to start your trade due to the big correction for the altcoin.
This seems to be the gold chance for everyone to buy cheap token.
The exchanges you have mentioned are indeed great option for small trades. I remember my best friend also started trading at these exchanges and now he is trading at bittrex earning nice profits. Never take the failures on heart and yes one more important thing, stay calm while trading. These things will really help you improve your trading skills.
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyng Student apartment for Bitcoin. Idea for earn passive income? on: September 04, 2017, 06:40:59 AM
Hallo,

I live near a good univesity with about 50k students. Cost of rentals for students is about 200 Euro montly, and each house is about for 4/5 students, so renting an house pay about 800-1000 eur montly.

Now i have opportunity to buy 1 apartment for abot 80k eur , so about 20 bitcoin . (I have about 27 bitcoin atm)

Now i'm really confused about what to do! Because i think bicoin could move up over 10k eur in next 10 years, but this could be only an option because it could go to 100K or to 0.1... So if i hold i coudl earn more (or lose more). But if i sell my bitcoin in i buy this house i hill have a montly revenue (now abut 0.2 bitcoin ) and a full Roi in less than 10 years.

I'm thinking to buy this home and to reinvest montly income for 60% in bitcoin , 30 in other crypto and 10% to use for house mainentance. What do you think about?

**There are 2 other apartments for sale at same price: i don't have other to invest, but if someone is interested could contact me  Smiley

I am also a student and i started to become a trader without any capital and knowledge about bitcoins, So it means i work hard here in this forum to earn bitcoins and i started earning it from joining signature campaigns. That is the easiest way you can earn bitcoins if you really want a passive income, Try to explore here in the threads to learn every ways of earning bitcoins.

I just earn bitcoin from my trading activities. Also i haev a job for Fiat. I just tempted to consolidate my saving
If you are earning from trading that too bitcoins, it means you have great skills in trading because generally people tend to lose in trading. You have day job that’s why not going for signature campaigns etc. keep holding your bitcoins because soon they are going to touch the heights of sky making all of us rich.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 03, 2017, 07:35:46 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
Bitcoin in college may have advantage and disadvantage. It can help the users to learn m  ore about bitcoin and it's development. But I don't think someone can teach it very well except those who really develop that software.
I don’t  think bitcoin should be studied in school. If you actually went through college, you will know that it won’t be easy. Not that it won’t be easy, but it’s simply a stupid idea.

I don’t  see anything bitcoin has to offer to a community as a whole. There are much important courses you have to study, than studying bitcoin. If you want to be an expert in bitcoin, then you have to study computer engineering.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: September 03, 2017, 08:31:14 AM
In my own practices, i spent it for the sustainable development of my body posture. to sustain also my wants, needs. i used also my winnings in my study too. through my winning i will able to help my family needs. I invest also for my future life. gambling play vital role to our environment especially to the gambler nowadays, it is easy way to earn more money that you want. Eventually it is  international pastime to every gambler.
That too, I expect that someone could really do something good with their winnings, not just on themselves but for other people too, especially with family. I just don't agree with you that it's easy to earn money with gambling because maybe there would be a time you're lucky, and sometimes you're not. It still depends.
I am also with you on one point. Gambling is no easy way to earn huge profits. Furthermore, I doubt its ability to even produce little ones. Gambling should be taken an act of fun. However, if somebody really hits on a big amount, he must go for establishment of his own business.

I believe instead of re-adding profits into bankroll of gambling, we can do anything with those profits that must be good practice for any gambler. Gambling is already having lots of risks hence enjoying time to time must be the right approach.
You doubt its capability; I believe it can't give you anything. It is good for nothing but still when I gamble, for some moments I feel relaxed and I am just into game, forgetting about all my worries and tensions. That does not mean I am running from reality, that just mean I am on a break.

1190  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake Bitcoin? on: September 02, 2017, 06:03:40 AM
People put their big coins in, and you pay monthly interest, which is basically the same as staking. There's a good possibility you could even make some money off of it, but you would have to act the way that Banks do and Leverage that overall lump of coins that are in your possession to create a greater return to the interest you're paying out.
1191  Economy / Marketplace / Re: to get the bitcoin should issue a capital? on: September 01, 2017, 07:32:39 AM

I was a little bit of trouble getting my bitcoin, karna is still new, please help master Smiley
No. You don't any capital to start a bitcoin. All you need in bitcoin is your time and effort and also your knowledge about btc.
You are right. Capital has nothing to do in buying or selling of your Bitcoins. It is you, the owner of Bitcoin who needs to decide what to do. Moreover, as we know that Bitcoin is decentralized, so no one is controlling it directly. You can invest and purchase Bitcoin at your own.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 31, 2017, 07:19:41 AM
For me it is very possible to hack bitcoin account especially if it put in online wallet because there is no safe in internet now and everything can happen. Be sure to safeguard key first and avoid opening link that can be lead to phishing an account. There are many possibilities that account can be hack we should be very careful on every move we made.
I very much agree with you bro. anything can happen anytime. Weak links are always present in a chain. You just need to find that and strike it. Sadly, in cyber world, humans are the weakest link. They can be tricked and manipulated easily. Most of the hacks take place due to this fact.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: August 30, 2017, 06:39:10 AM
All fiat currencies are used for legal and illegal activities.  Same will be the case for crypto.  As for the US dollar, I am not certain it is the world power it once was.  US is bankrupt.
true, it's just been done covertly so as not to get caught by the public. But, still so many are caught for using money illegally in their respective countries. Well, that's a bad behavior to follow.
Bad but inevitable for many! Many people are using illegal methods for making more money and to start these businesses, definitely they make investments. USD is nothing different than any other currency. They are used secretly for illegal purposes like smuggling, human trafficking etc.
1194  Other / Off-topic / Re: BITCOIN TALK USERS MOSTLY ARE??? on: August 30, 2017, 06:03:38 AM
mostly males are more in cryptoworld than females. but this doesn't really matters really.
Give me a break dear, are we going to discuss gender now? Man are supposed to earn and they are given the position of head of the family (not for nothing). It is their duty to fulfill the needs of respective families. That's why males are more into business. Getting the picture?
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: August 30, 2017, 05:32:12 AM
I think  yes,  because riches families  has many obligation in their life so  he need an alternative way to do their task, like if they  are buying something he can do it freely where they are by using bitcoin.

Bitcoin is like a business, and most all riches person are interested if we talking business  so I think even rich people are interested about bitcoin.

Man never contends to what he holds at the present unless he loses it. It's in human blood and once they have enough money to live a healthy life, they will still strive for more becasue there are no limitations to human desires. Rich people will definitely invest in BTCs once they learn about it.

1197  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: August 28, 2017, 06:04:26 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
It will still be a long way for Bitcoin to match up with Gold, especially in terms of being an investment and the number of user base holders. Gold is being used before by different countries and different eras , also considered a became a currency to countries which is not yet developed. Which means that its community is way bigger than community of Bitcoin which affects its demand.
It's a long way but it seems like bitcoin is going to that way in a fast pace. Gold holders cannot say they are more profitable because bitcoin is giving more and their investment are more liquid. They can use it in their daily transactions and they can trade it as well, in reality bitcoin is more useful than gold and in time when people realize its value, it will be considered more precious than gold.
I agree to that, bitcoin is more useful than gold because we can use bitcoin as a money to pay and use on different transaction with an easier way than money. Bitcoin is a like a gold but it is more advanced than gold because it is digital and it is more secured than any other investment that we have right now so i think the holdings of bitcoin is very far way better than gold.
My vote is also with bitcoins. The holding of bitcoins for few months can produce profit more than gold. Gold is very much stable in price and is not capable of producing significant profits in few months. Besides the digital nature of bitcoins give them an edge over gold for people can easily carry bitcoins anywhere but that is not the case with gold.

Yeah holding bitcoins is more profitable then holding of gold as the price of gold is not too volatile and it is much more stable and profit making from it can be really time consuming process but bitcoin can give you best returns in quick time due to its volatile nature and if you hold your bitcoins for long term then you can surely become rich with it.
People with primitive orthodox thinking will only hold to gold for maximum time, those who are smart and just concerned with profits, they are going to switch to bitcoins as soon as possible. Holding of the bitcoins is much more profitable than even holding diamond. I will suggest grabbing bitcoins as much as possible.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of news? on: August 28, 2017, 10:36:41 AM
Usually slack is quite doing the job. Especially when you're active at it. Take time to lurk on their #development channel. Mainstream news is already late in my opinion. Or sometimes news are being announce on forums.
There are several sources of news, and I will advise you not to rely on only one. You should use several news sites than make use of one. The first site I was using was cryptocoinsnews.com, but I have stopped using it. I’m currently using cointelegraph.com and coindesk, and they’re quite reliable. Bitcointalk.org forum can also be a reliable source.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: August 28, 2017, 09:52:22 AM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
It’s been a longtime since I last bought Bitcoin, and I think I’m okay with the amount I have and it keeps on increasing as long as price keeps going up. But, even if I want to buy Bitcoin, I won’t do it now until after November.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 28, 2017, 07:57:43 AM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
If I'm not mistaken, there are faucets that will give free Bitcoin. You may also join campaigns but the reward won't be easily to get and won't be in an instant. There are campaigns that will take a month to end, and its token to be distributed. Tokens that can be converted to Bitcoin. You may also try altcoin trading, it's a bit risky but the income is big.
I don’t really know what to do when I’m in desperate need of money or maybe hungry. What I mostly do is go to sleep or find something fun to keep myself busy and make my body forget it’s hungry. Sometimes I stay calm, believing God for a miracle. But when I see it’s getting out of hand, I look for someone to beg for money.
