Here for you Risto, just copy and paste (was 32, actually, for two bounties) Donators of 20 XMR - 1st dan monero heros with a hoard of CopperDavid Latapie 2014-04-29

I recompiled the wallet, run a check and it found orphans. I backed up my wallet, ran the repair command and cheked again. This one it was OK. I updated the comparison matrix with the check and repair wallet buttons.

As an indirect donation, you can choose to mine to a pool that donates to the dev fund also The pools and their percentage of donation are listed in the OP.

Would you be happy If I leave the coin as is? And just support as is with only minor updates. Such as fixing the staking calculator? Leaving the coin as it is will make it unlisted next week or so, since no one will take care of it. I have no issue with that, since I already took profit somehow by HYP fork and your fork would be like doubling profit. I just want people to know what they are signing for when saying "leave it as it". I saw what happened with Mintcoin when they refused presstab's offer.

truckcoin is an abandoned coin with no devs and ugly name. but it has two forks so far. ha-ha.
That could start a whole new economic model: Buy a coin and double, triple, quadruple your investment as people fork it. The power of copy and paste a.k.a. Magic Internet Money Interested to see how far it would go and how premined/unfair it would be considered. Certainly devtome will not like it I love experiments. By the way, updated donation list. I pledge to add 10,000 on the table. (if you want to modify this table, use a monospace font text editor like notepad, it will be much easier to use) Username | TRK pledged | Total TRK | Tom14cat14 | 50,000 | 50,000 | kryptologist | 30,000 | 80,000 | HunterS | 10,000 | 90,000 | Bumberchute | 20,000 | 110,000 | rel-oad | 40,000 | 150,000 | waxo | 15,000 | 165,000 | sluppy | 50,000 | 215,000 | David Latapie | 10,000 | 225,000 |
Edit: there is also an allcoin market for TRK: https://www.allcoin.com/trade/TRK_BTC. Allcoin's strenght is on the trade history statistics, which helps you knowing how much you bought, how much you sold, your average buy and sell and when you reached your ROI. If they added Poloniex's sort by volume and sort by price changes, it would be even better.

^---- I suggest everyone should use this way of expressing their XMR/BTC ratio. ----^ 2/3 of XMR for me if you consider other altcoins 3/3 of XMR if you don't (I don't have BTC anymore)[/quote]

Getting TEKcoin to rise in price again is also a matter of giving it a living community.
As you may know, I created the #TEKcoin IRC channel. Now, I am on the process, thanks to drewdrew, to have a tipbot in it. Come join in, tipbots attract newcomers. Sure, you will lose some of your staking power, but consider it as an investment. I suggest divesting up to 1% of your stash to tipbot to share on IRC members.
Edit: what is TEK's block height? drewdrew needs it for the tip bot. Thanks. Edit2: tipbot operational. I started to pour rain over the channel. Crazyloaf and cazze are the only one here out of me and drewdrew so they are the lucky winners. Now they can start pouring rain too.

I have also decided to donate a bottle of wine from my cellars to all core developers who show up in my castle. Once I'll get rich with Monero, I'll definitely visit Malla (plus, it would a great place for a Murder mystery game or a tabletop RPG. ..I'll remember Malla in 2019. The Supernode, Baltic Sea And an old Pietila wine...Estonian Walkways I've been using it to mean == "goes up to a value 10 times higher the original value" == +900%. Maybe I accidentally invented it and it's not in general use Decuples is the term And is it me or does the quality of discussion in this thread seem to improve between about 10:00 and 17:00 UTC each day? I've only bothered to check this "statistic" for the last few days' worth of posts but so far it holds up, at least on weekdays. Interesting, especially if it holds true with time. im interested in alts - can't put my finger on why exactly. Because you find Darwinian evolution at work fascinating? So, if I understand correctly: if I have block that is more than 20000, I should split it. If I have blocks that are less than 500, I should merge with another one (in the context of optimising reward). I am pretty certain I am wrong, let just check how far I am wrong :)

TEK is not 480% annual. I really have no idea why people keep saying this. 480 is 40*12 (40% per month). Simple as that. Now since the interest is not exactly 40%, this is different. I've updated the comparison matrix ("monthly stake" and "yearly compound stake" columns).
|
|
|
does it seem strange that tek is always listed as 500%? that is not the same as other coins. others list the yearly compounded rate , then go on to list TEK rate at 500% and that is the non compound rate. Other are listed yearly too. And this is not 500, this is 480%. Compounded is 5570%.Sorry, writing too fast, I will fix all that after fireworks.

I also think the 500 coin max limit wont help. Source/confirmation for this 500 HBN?

A small feature I would like to see in the next update is a select dust option in coin control. Something that automatically selects blocks under a size amount, say 5 or something like that. Maybe even in the options menu you can select how big you want the dust size to be. This could make it easier to organise and combine smaller sized blocks.
Added to the newest tab, " Feature requests". As soon as one coin will implement it, I will add a column on the comparison matrix. Dust cleaning: automatically selects blocks below a certain size and optionally combines them.

Please confirm it is correct and add suggestion. I'd welcome a more permanent solution.

Maybe a monthly blockchain.zip on the http://grw.blockx.info? Is there room for such an option? I could help maintaining it, keeping it up to date. With the blk0001.dat, blkindex.dat and, database <DIR> maybe? Just a suggestion. Or maybe even twice a month, it would make it easier for newcomers to GRW and people who need to fix their wallets. I was thinking about something similar, but instead of uploading a copy on the server, I was thinking creating a Torrent for it. We would need at least 3 good seed nodes at all times, more is better. Is there people willing to keep up some seed nodes? I could handle it, at least for the first week (home PC, not server, that's why - even if open 24/7) As soon as you have the canonical URL (i.e. URL is always the same, even when the file changes), PM me.
