NBitcoin is its own chain in C#, once NBitcoin is developed, it will be forked to Stratis Full Node in C# No. That is incorrect. NBitcoin is a .NET framework for Bitcoin. NStratis is a fork of NBitcoin for Stratis. The full nodes will be developed in C#. So you would be able to use your current bitcoins / develop apps with the NBitcoin Node? if that's so you'd be correct, otherwise I don't think that's the case here. It's completely independent of the current Bitcoin Core. But i'm waiting to see if krushang or any of the devs write up something here for some clarification. NBitcoin is a framework for .NET developers, it is not a full node. The Bitcoin/Stratis full nodes will be developed in C#. |

Dump it folks; need some buying ops. i guess best time to invest in STRATIS rather than waiting as the price is pretty cheap and its on full POS. Personally, I think it's trading at a premium. I am running 5 RX 480 on a windows 7 on a nanopool. A rough calculation is that I make $150 a month from all 5 cards. My investment into it is about $2000 and my ROI is about a year. Are my calculation right??

Maybe I haven't got this straight... This is a project whose "merit" WILL BE the creation of short of "ready-made" blockchains. I haven't read anything about BLOATING. I havent read anything about SPEED in transactions... but most of all I haven't read anything about SECURITY of the network. So I will assume there's dependent on the number of nodes operating it (in other words the name of wallets staking), so, since no one is doing it -and this is a figure of speach; it means very few people, I'm going to assume the vulnerabilities are simply overwhelming.
There are at least another 6 projects with similar technologies in much more advanced state of development, with a lot more money (hence time) and teams way bigger (in every meaning of the word). So why would you support this project? There's absolutely no reason whatsoever... But, above all, this is a group that, when and if they ever have technology on the blockchain that is of interest to anyone, will SELL their services as consultors to whatever enterprises are interested. They will get paid for that counseling and you, the Stratis holder, get... well...
That this thing is still being traded above the ICO price is only due to the speculative nature of the crypto world. And it will be brief, for sure. No way, at this point, these are worth anything beyond (very low) three figures, even less. And that would be a best case scenario.
Maybe you should read the whitepaper so you have a clue. |

Because people are trying to create value without a foundation. The team hasn't even received the ICO funding yet. It's performing exceptionally well considering the circumstances. Come back in November. |

As far as I know he has never mentioned Stratis. And his last dev tweet was his excitement to finish Bitcoin full node. Somewhat strange to me but Trew made it clear he is a Bitcoin guy at heart. |

I'm trying to figure out how does it relate to startcoin? I mean so many other share offerings have already got listed on Bnktothefuture and it didn't seem to affect startcoin so far. For example factom series A funding is currently going on their platform and it does not involve startcoin in any way. What's going to be different now? Is it all hype or is there something more to it? Max is involved behind the scenes with some heavy hitters. I think the hope is Max is whispering StartCOIN in their ear, one of them will bite, and take StartCOIN along for the ride. It looks like V2 is not vaporware and will release this year. I like my odds with StartCOIN. |

Crypto I agree with you 100% I'm my opinion the Stratis project is on the same level as Ehtereum or better.
Ethereum delivered, you are basing a price point on a concept with Stratis. And the team as well. The clone released is just a placeholder so the team can acquire the funds. Of course, it's the investor's responsibility know what they are buying. |

Hope I wake up in a month or two and its gone up to 10 BTC  I think you will be lucky to stay above ICO until first milestone is reached. FOMO atm. They were considering X13 but now that there is X13 asics they will hopefully change it.
I suggested Dagger, hopefully, no ASIC owned algo will be used. No dagger pls , dont work fine with Nvidia Pascal , Keccak or Nist5 is more best for stratis . Dagger by far is the most popular and efficient GPU algo. Go with the numbers. Nvidia is fine and most serious miners use AMD anyway. |
