Just delay it until tomorrow! Give everybody a chance to bid. The avg price will be a little higher for everyone, but all will be happy. What's that bs with changing times, locking orders etc. that is undermining all professionalism.

Most people ARE happy. Only procrastinators and the uninformed are complaining.

Well fuck me sideways for not being an american... I guess being accurate when running a stock exchange isn't important... fucking retarded mate.

You had as much time as anyone else. If you didn't make the cutoff it's no ones fault but your own. Stop spamming, the case is closed.
1043  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 08:50:00 PM

Well now - EST and CST were both quoted, and both official times for both of these timezones show the bidding was locked a full hour early. Deal with it.

I did, I got my position before the cutoff. Stop crying.
1044  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 08:46:42 PM
That said, I don't think it would hurt terribly if Burnside opened the bidding up, for say 5 minutes, to people who had their coins in before the cutoff.

YES, maybe that would calm down some people like me from wanting to push MORE REGULATION on exchanges, like forcing them to delay the IPO when the contract was broken? ...

lol - simply by not following their own shutoff times.... um... yeah... 14 minutes left... bidding locked...

East coast is EST - deal with it.
1045  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 08:44:29 PM
Hey,

I am still at work and I really expected to come home and place
a bid for whatever price, before the IPO started.
This morning you have stated we will have 12 hours left.
Just pulling the public offer and leaving everyone else behind is
a big punch in the face to everybody and has nothing to do with being fair.

I wish you would reconsider that decision and open the orderbook again so that everyone
can participate until tonight 8pm central time (so in about 4 hours).

Big bummer!

There was more than enough support to move forward. No reason to delay it any longer.

Day light saving genius. It states that at the top.

Yeah, because Google and Wikipedia must be wrong because they say that EST is different from EDT.

It's only 3:11 EST right now.

Doesn't matter to me, but it sucks if the organizers don't know that EST <> EDT.

What? Im in EST it's 16:13

Locked, you guys need to learn to tell time
1049  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 08:05:33 PM
Hmm, btct.co server time is Wed, 31 Jul 2013 21:04 BST and it looks like bids are still coming in - up to 18.51 mil.

Burnside already stated late bids will not be accepted. You know that.
1050  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 08:01:14 PM
17.9 mil shares.

We should all get 39.1% of our request.

Well it's certainly better than paying 10x in an auction format. Good job Burnside.

No, i don't accept this behaviour of people telling me i'm wrong and it's my own fault etc.

Lol, blaming your ignorance on others. Classic!
1053  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 07:54:22 PM
The IPO should be extended due to these glitches.

I too have way more than 6 confirmations yet no money showing up in my wallet.

Its no longer true that everyone will get a piece. All the people how have 0 in their wallet due to this glitch won't be able to participate at all.

There is no harm in adding another 4 hours on to the trade deadline in the meantime until this glitch is worked out and it will make a lot of people happy.

Just give the whales an opportunity to dilute the share allocation. No thanks

9 minutes left.. I for one have my party hat and cocktail ready to go!

Congrats to everyone that was actually prepared for the IPO. Let the whining begin!
1055  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 07:47:45 PM

Exactly. Yes we did have plenty of time to get our BTC in, which we transferred hours ago and have plenty of confirms for it to show up. It is not our fault BTC-TC is bugged out and shows a balance of 0 BTC.

Hours ago? I had mine ready when it went up for vote. Just stop..
1056  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 07:45:36 PM

I'd love to see you in this situation. Or anyone else of these greedy assholes who act like it deserve to be cut off just so they can get their one extra share.

We are greedy because we stay abreast of events in the community? Stop being a baby.
1057  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 07:38:24 PM

And what about those who's coins don't show up and won't buy able to bid in time?

Trade opens at 8pm EST I think. Plenty of coins available then.

Are you this stupid or just playing stupid?

Well considering I have my position and the IPO ends in 20 minutes. You tell me who is stupid.

Everyone is having problems with deposits. Hopefully they will post in 29 minutes
1060  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 07:12:52 PM

Right, i should just shut up and accept that i'm being cut off from buying these shares. Do i understand that correctly?

That would be great. I guess you were never a scout. Be prepared...
