121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 19, 2020, 10:36:29 PM
if you are aware that some players or an entire teams is suffering from this situation is really easy take an advantage even if the odds are small (@1.10). Until the distribution of a vaccine or any other therapeutic agent we will see more and more of these events.
If you know the situation before hand then it is more than helpful while placing a bet but they will not usually leak these kind of things to the media so that the opposition would make a game plan around it, even in the recent match in a normal circumstance i would never think about Cádiz CF defeating Real Madrid and this is just an example as we witnessed many upsets already this year playing in a bubble.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: October 17, 2020, 10:47:48 PM
Nonetheless, many coins pop up every once in a while with new shiny features. This tells us that a pump in Litecoin's price will only be temporary. The competition is getting fierce, making it extremely difficult for Litecoin to catch up with bigger projects in the crypto/Blockchain space. With little to non-existent development on the Litecoin project, it seems to me that new ATHs for LTC is nothing more than a distant dream. Just my opinion Smiley
I do align with your view, Litecoin was not able to attract big investment for a very long time and there was nothing go on with the development and the lead developer came out and gave publicity that he sold all of his holding during the last rally which will not give confidence to any big investor and with many other projects that are attracting huge investment i think Litecoin will be left aside for any huge rally.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK hospital launches rehab programme for bitcoin addiction on: October 16, 2020, 10:03:40 PM
While HODLers can successfully quit cold turkey, BTC traders need to do it steadily. Akin to methadone threatment for heroin addicts, they let BTC junkies check graphs twice a day and make a couple of shitcoin transactions.
That is a funny one  Cheesy. Yeah that is a good therapy forcing addicts to make a few shitcoin transaction.

Coming into the rehab program i am not sure whether it is a serious addiction but if people are using bitcoin for gambling then it is a different story as they need help. If anyone needs help for anything so be it and a hospital is providing a service but it has become a headline news and that surprised me Grin.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China's digital yuan vs US dollar on: October 14, 2020, 07:00:43 PM
China is speeding it testing on the digital yuan. It will not take to long before the digital Yuan can be implemented and it believe China will become less independent on the US Dollar.
These are hypothetical situation thinking that everyone will start accepting their digital Yuan. You cannot blame them for having high hopes but only time will tell what would be the real situation. If you are importing products from the US then the merchants would certainly ask for dollars in exchange than start accepting digital Yuan Tongue.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Counting in Blackjack on: October 14, 2020, 05:29:25 PM
This is very old technique and these days you can not make big money with this. House will catch you and will ban you from their casino. Even you will end up beaten by them badly.
This is a highly possible scenario in a physical casino that you will be beaten up for counting the cards and only in movies i have seen these kind of scenarios but i a virtual casino the house knows the situation and there will be a timer to counter that, not sure what is the solution they are using but these virtual casino will be aware of the thing and will have a solution to counter those.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 08:14:49 PM
I know many project managers that handles good projects such as Jamalezaz, bounty detective, and many others most of them are either hero members or legend, I believe they have enough experience to handle it mere considering their ranks, not to say the rank is the only criteria to be a good project manager.i always doubt those project starters with newbie ranks.is it that they decide to use a new forum page,or were the restarting after being hacked or disqualified or how come a new be is handling a project? This are few questions that comes to my mind about newbie managers.
Your headline is entirely different than the content which is misleading, in the headline you are asking about newbie starting a project and in the main content you are talking about newbie users promoting the content and these are two completely different things. I will not trust a project team which is entirely anonymous because of certain reasons of bad experience i had in the past but anyone can promote a project if they have the patient to monitor everything and give the team the necessary result.

127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 13, 2020, 06:28:50 PM

The volatility of the market can not take into account how other external economic factors might influence the market value of crypto, and thus can never be expected that dumping or jumping in whatever proportion will no happen.
For sometime the outside economic factors are having a major influence on the cryptocurrency market and it is spoken here in the forum as well that the changes in the stock market is directly influencing the bitcoin and cryptocurrency market.

I think if people assume that BTC can not go below 10k and start investing only to find out that it can, it would be a petty and not to mention a huge risk.
The price can go in either direction as we have seen a fall in price last time which was around 70% when the bitcoin market corrected and right now if we have a 12% correction we would go below $10k.

I was not fully aware of the fact that the price was above $10k for the past 60 plus days even though i know it was above for quite some time, what it shows is that whenever the market is correcting there are huge investments coming in to hold the market.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: October 12, 2020, 09:57:31 PM
~
Yes. I do hold XRP, and I am bullish long-term on the coin (that's a does in my quote, not a doesn't).
XRP has a very clear and strong use-case, and is way ahead of most projects in terms of integration with the mainstream. When there is good news for this coin, it isn't usually reflected in an immediate price rise, which is different to other coins... but as a long-term bet, XRP is I think a solid choice.
Since you are a big fan of their long term use case you need to understand that it is a heavily premined coin and it is not a decentralized structure which means you cannot trust the blockchain and so is the reason crypto enthusiast are not a huge fan of this coin. Making a profit is possible but you should be aware of these short comings and the risk in the long run.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum Classic undervalued? on: October 12, 2020, 08:19:39 PM
Unfortunately the majority of people agreed with the rollback and thus immutable blockchain became fantasy.
Everything about Ethereum is a fantasy and you made it somewhat clear about what Ethereum classic is all about, it was a hardfork without everyone's consensus and so is the reason the ETC came into existence and this move proved that the developers do not care about consensus and they are taking decisions like a centralized entity.

What is the present situation of classic and what are the major developments going on and taking all that into account it is not undervalued.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust? on: October 10, 2020, 11:47:28 PM
I used to be very skeptical about Ripple, but I have changed my mind a bit. XRP is a very successful crypto, as the time has proved. This success is due to the unique characteristics of this coin, the main of which is the ability to make payments anywhere in the world almost instantly.
If you are looking for the profit then you might in the long term, the reason i am not a big fan of the coin is simply because i do not consider XRP as a traditional cryptocurrency and for that reason i am not holding that anymore but if your intention is to make a good profit then it might be possible as you cannot anything concrete about a centralized coin.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: October 09, 2020, 02:47:33 PM
We might see another Conor vs Khabib beatdown here. When a outspoken fighter such as Loma talks about causing pain to Lopez, expect that he will really go for it. We might see Lopez quitting in his stool here, Lol.
All the boxers that faced Lomachenko usually quit in the corner and before the fight they talk the big talk but after getting in the ring everyone will understand the skill level which is much above their brain could scramble and hence they quite after getting hit repeatedly and Lomachenko toying with them and they have no offense in return.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 01:32:55 PM
This type of immature behaviour is oftenly seen by peop who aren't aware of internet.
They don't trust internet with their money.
Moreover many people are also there, who thought Bitcoins are the source of Gambling, for which they often advised their own friends and families to stay away from Bitcoin.
We have gone a long way and people are not fools to not know about bitcoin, the basic problem with a common man is that if his wallet is lost or hacked he wont be getting his money back. Globally the number of online transactions has increased and how can you claim that people do not trust internet with their money, just compare the increase in the number of online transaction in the past ten years and you will understand the difference.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 08, 2020, 10:45:41 AM
So Conor is taking that route to retire early unhurt, his health is 100% but has fat paycheck. But the problem with this kind of athlete though is that they also spent their wealth very quick. And that's why I think he needs the Pacquiao fight to maintain his lifestyle unless he has invested his money instead of buying expensive thing. Yes he has his whiskey business, but the last time I read is that it didn't go as well.
Conor McGregor is not an active fighter, he won his second belt and then went and boxed Floyd and earned around hundred million dollars and then his return to the UFC was to basically promote his whiskey. I am sure he invested in many things and he does have a media company who is following the sport and many other ventures. Even if he is not fighting anymore he will be having the revenue stream.
134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 07, 2020, 08:57:27 AM
stop promotng this rigged site with useless rolls like this. this guy lost close to 50ltc before hitting that. i hate it then sites use rolls like this to promote themselves and stop deleting my comments. feel free to defend yourself
So what is your ideal gambling site, deposit a couple of dollars and then hit a million dollars. Every outcome is generated randomly and if you think that they are not doing that you can submit the proof and they are in this space for over 5 years and no one found out that they rigged anything. So stop dreaming that these gambling sites are meant to make you rich rather take it as a game of chances.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming Unicats allegedly stole $200k thru backdoor code on: October 06, 2020, 06:13:47 PM
- A yield farming platform called Unicats supposedly stole least $200,000 worth of crypto from users as per Alex Manuskin

- it alleges that the developer put a backdoor on the Smart Contract code to be able to stole from it's users
Things are repeating, the ICO they ran away with the money promising big projects and now in the form of yield farming.

So this is another expensive lessons to learn, the DEFI hype is still peaking and are not yet done. And I'm guessing that there could be more victims specially blindly trusting any projects who's developer are taking advantage of the complete anonymity in the crypto sphere.
It is expected, i am more careful with the situation as i expected scammers trying to take advantage of the hype and you cannot trust anyone vouching for these projects either, last time we saw many vouches and we had our experiences .
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 06, 2020, 05:41:17 PM
He may be a clown but he is one of the strongest supports that crypto will ever get. He definitely have pumped and dumped various alt coins for his own benefit but he was always very vocal about the cryptocurrencies and their developmens. It's hard to find another strong supporter of cryptocurrency in recent times.
Do we really need a scammer who shilled heavily for multiple scam projects to promote bitcoin, we need to get rid of these scammers away from the project as you do not need shilling from these individual to promote bitcoin.

While many people won't give a shit about this news, I am actually sad because he is facing an organized attempt to silent a strong crypto support.
What about the N number of scam projects he shilled and how many millions of hard earned money were lost to these scammers because a peace of shit promised that it is a legit project and he needs to take responsibility.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks fall down due to trump catching the virus on: October 05, 2020, 05:17:27 PM
Really, I also believe that the decline in stock prices and Trump's positive covid-19 was just a coincidence and was deliberately linked.  The media enlarge this issue in order to attract viewers and readers only to get more benefits.  However, if the decline in stock prices is due to news about the health of the trump, I am sure that the stock price will return to normal soon, because the health of the trump is not fundamental
It is not a mere coincidence that the stock market went down on hearing about the news that the president of US is Corona positive, he is a candidate for the next election and it will have an implication on the entire market as well. The health of the president is fundamental as the policies he follows will have an implication on the economic structure of the country.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 05, 2020, 03:46:14 PM
Mof...kers did you watch the video on youtube with Atlas doing parkour ?
Skynet is coming !!! Arm yourself's.
How are you planning to arm up, go on protesting to stop these development and do you think it can be stopped. We are all living in a time when People are using robots to fulfill their sexual needs and urges. You need to live according to the changes and the number of jobs available are reducing every decade and it is not surprising either.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis: French Open 2020 on: October 05, 2020, 02:50:54 PM
Djokovic vs Khachanov will be an interesting match.

I think Khachanov will pose a big problem for Djokovic. I think Djokovic will lose this match  Grin
The first 7 games of the first set was really interesting and then Djokovic stamped his authority by winning the first set easily and he is in good form and it will take a monumental performance from Karen Khachanov to win a set against Djokovic and if everything goes as usual we will see a final between Rafael Nadal and Djokovic and it will be an epic battle.
140  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KuCoin Has Found The Hackers Who Stole $281 Million on: October 04, 2020, 08:42:34 PM
Kucoin made the great work and it took them a couple of weeks. In comparison Bitfinex couldn't recover 120,000 Bitcoin stolen in 2016. I'm interested if Kucoin will be able to get all $281M back?
The main difference is bitcoin is decentralized while the rest of the coins and tokens does not follow the same principle even though they claim decentralized Tongue. Even in this instance the website has not revealed any names that could identify the hacker and if they got all the details then why the delay in publicly telling his name and expose him.
