241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: January 19, 2020, 05:35:34 PM
Well, Fury was down 2 times in the last fight if I count it correctly but he was able to get up and fight as nothing happens,, therefore I would say that he can take the punch of Fury, but it that knock down happens in the early round, it could be different.
Wilder was not even able to connect the punch for most of the entire fight until he connected one in the final bouts and Fury went down and he is the first fighter that got up from a Wilder punch and then went on to win the rest of the rounds. Tyson Fury now predicts that he is going to knock out Wilder but i am sure Fury knows that it is impossible for him to win a decision in the US.

242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: January 19, 2020, 03:24:30 PM
Ethereum has been very silent for the past few years ever since it was 1500 dollars, it kept going down and down and down, peaking (or bottoming?) at 80 dollars or so at one point when all of the market was horrible at the time. So, everyone forgot what a coin ethereum was.
I am expecting Ethereum to be silent for a very long time, the fork is coming up and they will be careful in not messing up the entire upgrade because if something happens then it will be the end of the fantasy run it had in it short life span and hopefully that will not happen but for the market to attract investors it need to provide something and the fork is not providing something new.

Anyone looking to make money then ETH is not the coin to look for, look elsewhere like bitcoin to get the profit you are looking for.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay, Litecoin price needs to crash again now...... on: January 19, 2020, 01:58:56 PM
I've been watching the price of LTC slowly dribble downwards, and it got down to $37.  I was planning to buy more LTC below $30.
Then something happened, and prices are bouncing all over the place!  LTC went to 40, 45, 50, 55, and now 60!!!
You cannot wait for the price to go downhill for a very long time, the price will rebound once it goes down to a certain level and if you keep on waiting for the price to go down further you will miss the boat and that is what happened to you and that will happen to many, when you plan to invest in something make sure you calculate the best price to invest.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 18, 2020, 05:59:58 PM
I am looking forward for a win by Conor McGregor as he looked really well physically and composed mentally and he might get the job done in this fight.
The odds are not that great to wage a bet on Conor McGregor, the odds for Cowboy looks interesting and i am wagging a small bet on Cerrone to win the fight. I am expecting Conor to attack from the start because Cerrone is always a slow starter but if he can sustain the first two rounds then he can change he fight to his advantage because Cerrone tends to improve at the later part of the fight. I am expecting Conor to get tired because of the muscle he is carrying and giving his back so that Cerrone will choke him out with a rear naked choke.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH, ETH OR BTC? which coin is best to buy and HODL for 2020. on: January 18, 2020, 05:26:26 PM
How about buy those 3 coins and hold for 1 year I'm sure one of them can increase so high, we really don't know which one of them can earn you a decent profit, but it's better that you buy those three and hold.
It all depends upon the budget you are planning to invest, the best investment is always small capital coins and thinking about on which one to invest depends upon the budget you are holding. If you are investing is minimal then you can split to bitcoin and then to some small valuation coin as those can give you the best profit if there is a rally, that being said i am not expecting a huge rally this year.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 18, 2020, 04:40:12 PM
Looking at the way charts are looking, the only way eth could ever reach back those days if they can manage to do their hard fork successfully without any bugs or problems in the code at all and people like it so much that they end up buying and storing a lot of ethereum without selling.
It is a huge task to completely transform the entire network successfully and fork without any bugs and so is the reason they are planning to take these transformation as a step by step process as the team behind know about the huge risk they are undertaking and that means we will not see the complete fork as they planned.

Moving something as huge as ethereum towards staking is advantageous for people who want the price to go up because when ethereum becomes PoS, many people will buy it and increase the price but instead of selling after price went up, just keep on holding it for the "interest" they are getting with staking.
It is a wet dream they have right now to think that there will be a huge investment in the coin to stake and make their investment idle. It is hard to imagine to think that any institutional investor will do such a thing, but people who invested when the price was really low can understake these process rather than expecting huge investors purchasing the coin.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Data Shows Why Bitcoin SV’s 163% Rally in a Week Won’t Last on: January 18, 2020, 04:11:23 PM
Good for them to continue their pump. But then again it is clearly wash trading and all evidence are pointing to manipulation. I haven't check the price today, not interested, but as what others have been saying, this can't go on for a long term.
How can you point a price rally as wash trading and it is not the only coin that moved the rest of the market was also rallying and Dash was also moving higher, if we pin point those it will affect our market too as the bankers can shout foul play at the bitcoin market when there is a rally. So it is better to support the crypto market together without accusing each other rather than shouting at them.

248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another BSV pump today? on: January 18, 2020, 03:08:29 PM
It's very unlikely that the BSV ATH is going to be breached any time soon.
Only time will tell, if the underlying technology they come up can impress the investors then it is possible, if they could manipulate the price in a short period of time then they can do that in the future too. Wink

Reason is simple - the underlying fundamentals of BSV are going to get exposed sooner or later as complete bogus. The previous rounds of pumps were essentially based on complete misinformation and FUD about the bitcoin network itself. So it's certainly unsubstantiated to begin with.
The main reason of any market movement is speculation and there is nothing that can be done to stop that, it looks like people have shorted the market by billions to see this kind of turnaround in the downside and the speculation was already there when the price started to raise. The fundamentals should be taken into account if they can scale than the rest then that will change the perspective of the entire market and you cannot neglect that.

249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 17, 2020, 05:29:48 PM
I think I will be rooting for Conor McGregor this time I really want to see a rematch against him and Khabib Nurmagomedov, And if that time skip in not getting into the ring of UFC really paid off.
It is a complete turn in his approach and looks like he is really focused to compete again and by his words he will be active this year and it all depends upon how the fight goes and if he wins he have a lot of options to choose rather than picking Khabib Nurmagomedov as i do not see anyone defeating him who is not having an extensive ground game and Tony is the closest to that pedigree because of his high level ground game.

250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 17, 2020, 04:30:48 PM
Tonight we will see Schalke vs Gladbach: 2 teams that performed way better in the first round than most would have expected. If I had to place a bet - I will not (except a little one for the streak challenge  Cool) - I would pick a draw. I guess both would be happy with a draw after the break so anyone willing to take some risk, pick X. Wink
I am also expecting a draw in this match because if you look at the past few matches for Schalke they ended up in a draw while Borussia Monchengladbach is struggling to win while traveling and if you take that into account this match will probably end up in a draw and under 3.5 goals is a good bet in my opinion.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 17, 2020, 03:27:00 PM
Lets be realistic here alright Smiley
If Ethereum will go to at around $1400 this year, Bitcoin must top its previous ATH which is near $20,000 since at that time when Bitcoin is near on that price Ethereum is at around $1300. Now we know already that the price of Ethereum will depend on the price of Bitcoin. The question is will Ethereum reach $1400 this year.
If you are looking at the realistic prices then there is no way the price of Ethereum reaches those levels when the price of bitcoin rallies to its previous all time high simply because the investors will be quick to dump the alts and invest into bitcoin to ride the rally and make the maximum benefit and that being the case it is hard to imagine that the price will rally because of the use case of ETH.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW to PoS question on: January 17, 2020, 02:40:07 PM
Is Proof of Work is going to lose popularity compared to Proof of Stake? Ethereum is going to PoS. Angry
In my opinion this is the biggest mistake they will be making as they do not have any regard for the investors when they determine these things, it is like a kids play, forking and changing the entire protocol every now and then and if they disregard the investors it will not reach anywhere when it comes to the price.

Is there going to be a lot of hash (computational) power idle because of shifting to PoS?  Sad

I think that the miners will shift to ETC.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 17, 2020, 02:15:33 PM
Now, imagine if a mainstream company creates a Blockchain token that could be used at Gas Stations worldwide? This would definitely increase adoption of crypto and Blockchain tech within the mainstream world like never before.
Why you need a different token for that, it can be done using bitcoin, if we keep on creating more tokens and crypto for every specific use then we will not see the real adoption and we will see the opposite reaction. We need to look for some company that can come up with a solution with bitcoin that can be used in petrol stations worldwide and that should be the ultimate adoption.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 16, 2020, 05:16:56 PM
As long as bitcoin wont reach 30k before halving ,$100k is only a dream. These predictions is somehow the reason why bitcoin cant touck $15k. So many predictions that is why crypto people dont know what to do,they dont know who to believe in.
To counter your statement first you need to think about the price of bitcoin getting over $10000 and then we can discuss about these huge rallies, i would be glad if the price rallies to these levels as i can make a lot of profit. I am not expecting the predictions to be available anytime soon but in the future i am expecting this to reach those levels in the next 5 to 10 years.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2020, 04:05:32 PM
I was surprised that they even shook their hands. That is something new from Conor Cheesy

Found that Cowboy will get $2m for this fight and Conor would take $5m (excluding PPV earning and other).
Do thing this amount is enough or not for Conors return ?
It was a surprise that it was a complete reversal from the way in which Conor McGregor would approach a press conference and it was pleasing to hear those change in attitude after all the drama we saw in the last fight, the PPV earnings will be really huge, in this press conference McGregor said he made $80 million for the Khabib fight  Shocked, i wonder how much he will be making in this fight including PPV buys.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: January 16, 2020, 03:04:22 PM
When we talk about natural power and skills, Wilder I'd the best among the rest, we have seen what played out at the first match and hope to see a replay in that will show more of Wilder. Hopefully to see Wilder still defend his title as the best in the business. This will be the best of the best fight in the history of heavy weight championship.
There is a slight change in that phrase, Wilder has natural crazy power his size and he is weighing around 208 pounds but you cannot call him as a skillful boxer as he knows his weakness and strength and that is the biggest thing you need to be a world champion, if you are able to identify your weakness and strength you can go a long way while on the other hand Tyson Fury is a skillful boxer but not having the knockout power, so the fight is always how Fury will mitigate the power of Wilder and whether Wilder is able to land the knockout punch.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BSV goes up by 50% in 24 hours, bull trap? on: January 16, 2020, 08:09:15 AM
With such large price increases, many speculators appear near the coin. It is possible that positive situation will also attract new investors. I think that for the whole market it would be good if the BSV price increased all the time, because it would improve everyone's mood. Let's hope that such positive increases will last as long as possible.
The market rallied in a short period of time and it is quite obvious that the market will go down as well as there will be a lot of selling pressure and that is what we are seeing now, the market performed when it was going higher and when the market is having a slight correction the BSV market is the biggest looser and it went below BCH once again.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BitcoinSV takeover Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2020, 05:28:34 PM
BSV will never be able to beat bitcoin or compete with it.
Today's BSV has the highest increase compared to other altcoins, the highest increase of BSV at the beginning of 2020 was yesterday which reached 143.22%, this is indeed extraordinary.
It was an extraordinary move which i did not anticipate that hitting us too soon. Lets see how long they can sustain this price.

Apart from BSV which has a controversial CEO, Craig Wright, this also seems to be influential, Craig Wright has always been a topic of conversation and even leads to negative things, but BSV now proves that BSV is able to compete with other coins.
I am not thinking that the price is everything but all the coins in the market who does not have any utility will die off eventually and lets see what are the coins that will survive the next ten years and i am sure we will see many coins dying off in the next few years. The investors only look for coins that are having real case usage and many alt coins will die off if the investors take things serious than mere speculation.

BSV has 1 event that will be held on 4 February 2020.
Are you talking about the court case, if so it is a double edged sword Cheesy.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do scam ICOs really taken to the court? on: January 15, 2020, 04:55:57 PM
I saw some of the scam busters in the forum talking about taking the case to the court on scam ICOs, my question is, is it really happening.
Taking these scammers to court by an individual is a huge task as the amount of money you need to spend to fight these scammers will take a huge toll on anyone, i am expecting some government agencies investigating frauds take up these cases. I have not heard anyone taking anyone to court as that is not my area of expertise.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 04:10:42 PM
If you're sure, invest all your assets in BSV, there's no need to seduce others. As for me, BSV is like a scam, I will never invest in such a blatantly manipulated coin.
If there are competing teams trying to make the best product possible for global adaptation, so be it who cares about the method they are going to implement as long as they are not planning to scam anyone, BSV is not a scam but there might be people who are shady but the entire project is not that shady as there are many developments coming up from them and it is far better than ETH.
