541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: October 26, 2019, 09:49:03 AM
Not yet. It's a possible bull trap that we've seen but still a good motion and recovery for the market because we've been so drought for the past week.
I wouldn't wait for the altcoin season and won't monitor it as well. Let it come on surprise so that it's the best feeling that we will ever had without any expectation but soon it will come.
The sudden recovery was unexpected but the major recovery happened in bitcoin and its fork coins, the rest of the altcoin market recovered but the biggest winners are the main market players and even if there is an altcoin season it will take a really long time to happen, i am not expecting one either but if it happen i am glad so that i will book my profits after a long time.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 25, 2019, 06:35:45 PM
many people take advantage of the declining market situation, they do not want to miss taking the opportunity when the market price drops again, but I think this time the decline is only temporary and will not be below the price of $ 7000, market conditions will bounce back and there will be a further pump after being able to touch the price of $ 7,000.
Whenever there is a correction in the market people will take advantage of it and invest in huge numbers, the reason you feel like the correction is temporary is because there are investors flooding the market whenever the price goes down and hence you will see a small recovery but if the market slows down we might see another correction, you cannot predict how the market will move exactly in the next few days.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 25, 2019, 05:05:54 PM
For old people they believe that its a dirty money so every one will stay out of gambling, but for modern people they don't think it as dirty money, some people play using calculations and strategy, so they do hard work of research to make profit
Why do you think that old people believe that gambling is dirty money, gambling is not a new phenomena and it has roots for centuries and you think that old people think that it is dirty is not the correct way to think, yes gambling has destroyed many lives in the past and may be that has created a misconception for some people but one fact is that what ever calculation you make there will be no certainty when it comes to gambling, the probability factor always shows that you loose and luck is a major factor.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 25, 2019, 12:30:35 PM
Monfils will be facing Bedene in the first quarterfinals. I think Monfils got this one.
There is no doubt Gael Monfils is in top form and performed really well this season in hard courts and experience also is with him but what is doubt is that Gael Monfils chocks sometimes and i have seen in the past and lost some bets because of that, may be he is underestimating his opponent but i have seen matches where he was supposed to win easily but end up loosing and hence not betting in this match.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 25, 2019, 11:14:52 AM
Today we have some interesting matches, Dominic Thiem vs Pablo Carreno-Bust, i am expecting Dominic Thiem to win the match but i am going with Over 21.5 rather than going for money line consider the match against Verdasco i feel like this is a safe bet. Not betting in any other match today as i am not confident about other matches.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About New Altcoin's on: October 25, 2019, 09:45:26 AM
Asking a sharp question will revealed that they really know what they're doing or not.
"Template" answers will be recognized easily when you already joined many projects development.
What you said was true earlier when you ask some technical question they will usually find it difficult to answer but the scammers will also update their way and will learn everything about it to fool people and hence it is not that easy to find out whether the project is a scam or not now a days.
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Quantum Computing News Utilized to Manipulate Markets and Crash BTC on: October 24, 2019, 09:43:50 PM
I did read the story about google and quantum supremacy, and I'm really not qualified to evaluate it on a technical level.  I do know that bitcoin hasn't been compromised yet, and it probably won't ever be.  So I have a hard time believing that this is why bitcoin dropped so much recently.
The claim of quantum supremacy is just not true, they are able to compute certain things but that cannot be called supremacy and if the price drop is related to those news then the price would have gone to zero rather than hovering around $7k, it will take decades to have something of that sort level of supremacy and there is nothing to worry at this time.

548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2019, 02:29:23 PM
That’s ridiculous, so many snowflakes around these days. People need to toughen up, excessive noise? How pathetic, I’m living in the wrong era man.
The mentality of people are changing and it is getting ridiculous, not allowed to celebrate nor be aggressive and now we need a silent stadium, where are we going with all these, bunch of bullshit rules and i really doubt what the future will be, these bullshit rules must be squashed.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: "BTC Flash Crash Caused By Drop In Network Velocity" on: October 24, 2019, 11:17:54 AM
Now, I am wondering what can be causes of this dampening of demand for Bitcoin? Can this be a big symptom that we can be going back to the $5000 which a level I really fear?
If James Bennet says some terminology that does not mean that what he is telling is true, as FURY mentioned if that was true the price would have stayed intact, the main reason i think is that the month end is coming and there will be huge positions being take in the future market by some institutions and once the contract closes the market will be back to normal.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: October 24, 2019, 08:48:52 AM
But now everything has changed and we expect the opposite, the fall of Ethereum to 120-140 dollars. There will be a good opportunity to buy Ethereum before upgrading the network to version 2.0.
I was reading the entire thread and it is really amusing to think that everyone still think that there will be a future for ETH once they release their new version of the shitty network, they fooled the entire market once and still people trust them as if they are going to give some magical wand. If there is a rally i will sell my coins and will never enter the ETH market ever again.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX ever reach ATH on: October 24, 2019, 07:48:39 AM
Of all the coins in the market i think TRX and BTT has the potential to reach the all time high valuation when you take into account the altcoin market because they have real project and their business model is interesting and they have some major competitors in the market but they are able to overcome or come close to their competitors they will have a solid business for the long term.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 23, 2019, 05:56:20 PM
I always find people who think that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency assets are busting money and sometimes there are people who always assume that investing in bitcoin is fraught with hacker risk.
Why is investing in bitcoin be considered a fraud and if any one claim these they know anything about bitcoin.

on the other hand I cannot assume that their opinions are wrong, but on the other hand I cannot justify their statements.
If you think that their opinions are right then why you cannot justify that statement  Roll Eyes.

what do you think about finding people like that and how will you react to them?
You cannot do anything for people who think like that and it simply because they are not interested in understanding the facts and hence there is no point is making them understand anything.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 23, 2019, 11:45:17 AM
Anybody looking for Barca loss against Slavia Praha? Cheesy
I am not expecting a goal from Slavia Prague and i am going with Barcelona to win the match as they only lost to Manchester City in UEFA Champions League and that too in 2016, i know they did not have a great week but still i am expecting them to dominate the match.

I think I'll watch Napoli vs Red Bull today and hope Napoli loss so Liverpool can have a better chance proceeding the group stage.
This will be a great match as i am expecting both teams to score goals and i am not sure who will be the winner or we could expect a draw but i am going with both teams to score in this match.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 23, 2019, 08:59:03 AM
Don't jump to conclusions. Do you remember what happened to Pakistan against a fresh Sri Lankan team recently? The same could happen to Australia if the new changes prove to be great for the new and improved Pakistan team.
It is possible that a new Pakistan team could challenge Australia in T20 but to challenge in a test series is difficult as you need to have experience to play in bouncy tracks and subcontinent players are not that good in dealing with bouncy green pitches as they never played in those pitches in their entire career and to expect an instant result is impossible, it will be a good test for Pakistan and a learning experience and if they are able to defeat Australia or even challenge them then it will be considered as a win.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 09:13:03 PM
Dybala my second favorite player just next to Messi yet again showed why I love his game so much! It just took him 2 minutes to turn game on its head. Don't know why Sarri substituted him, he was literally firing even at 81st minute.
Paulo Dybala rescued Juventus in the final minutes of the match and it was incredible as he scored the first goal with the help of Juan Cuadrado and it was a great goal and the second one equally impressive, i was expecting a draw when they were not able to score a goal even at the 75th minute.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 08:22:13 PM
No wonder if Juventus dominates the match. Because Lokomotiv Moskva is very different level compared to Juventus. So no need to be surprised if this match is dominated by Juventus. But until now Juventus still could not score even one goal.
The match is dominated by Juventus but Aleksei scored the first goal for Lokomotiv Moscow in the first half Grin, passing is really good but they have to improve the shots on target to create more opportunities, i am still hoping that Juventus can score a couple of goals before the final whistle.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: October 22, 2019, 05:16:59 PM
My bet would be years as in 30-50 years.
Even if the price of bitcoin reaches those valuation have you considered the transaction fees you would be giving when the price reaches those valuation and for that we need more updates in the bitcoin network and if that happens then i expect the price to reach those valuation, if not it is just a wet dream for everyone Cheesy.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 03:43:32 PM
It's not that we're too optimistic, but the facts in the field say so. If Bayern Munchen might be able to win the match. But unfortunately the one playing is Bayer Leverkusen, far different. So you do not be too eager to win.
The odds are not that great for Bayern Munich to win and hence i am going to wage for both teams to score Bayern Munich to win as i was impressed with Olympiacos when they scored against Tottenham, so i am expecting the same attack in this game too.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 12:06:34 PM
Atletico Madrid - Bayer Leverkusen
My prediction is 1-0 Atletico Madrid.
Since i am not having a great week i am not going to risk anything further, i am going for under 2.5 goals in this match, no one defeated Atletico Madrid in the past few home games and that is an advantage to place a bet on Atletico Madrid but for safety i am going with goals Wink.

Here is my parlay for the day

Galatasaray vs Real Madrid i am going to Real Madrid to win.
Manchester City vs Atalanta going with Manchester City.
Juventus vs Lokomotiv Moscow going with Juventus.
Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen going with under 2.5 goals.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens If China Bans Bitcoin Mining? on: October 22, 2019, 11:19:28 AM
The struggles of Bitcoin seem to be unending, with many uncertainties hovering over the new technology. Earlier this year, the Chinese government intensified efforts towards the banning of Bitcoin mining. Some of the reasons stated includes the electricity consumption, and the environmental threats of the mining process.
China might be having huge mining farms but so does the rest of the world, the reason to ban due to electricity consumption and environment threats by any country are misdirection because the majority of the pollution from China stems from coal fired power plants and they have not taken any steps to control that and they are blaming bitcoin mining farms as environment threat is a joke  Roll Eyes.

This has raised a lot of questions as to what could become of the technology, considering the role of China when it comes to Bitcoin mining. So we ask, what happens if China bans Bitcoin mining?
Nothing happens, you do not need big mining farms to be truly decentralized  Tongue, if there is a need i am sure people will start running the node from their homes to help the network because this market helped many to make a fortune and they will do it as a token of respect to carry on the process to help the network.
