561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a way to escape Boomer Vice grip on wealth? on: October 22, 2019, 09:24:42 AM
Somehow the only way to escape their grasp is to use cryptocurrency since it is decentralized  and no one is in control.
If he goes by that theory no one is controlling anyone to invest in the crypto market and they can control this market too, so there is no valid solution to the problems he is raising  Tongue. It is a fact that the early adopters in bitcoin have a lot of coins and it is not a hypothesis but a fact, but the things he is telling are just hypothesis as there is no proof he can provide that a certain group is controlling the entire economy.

There is a big difference where people understand Decentralization, it means that no central authority can control the network nor shut it down but anyone can get involved in it and there is no restrictions in that aspect, so the theory OP is trying to tell will fail in the bitcoin market too Wink.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 22, 2019, 06:52:23 AM
In the next few decades, we still make traditional transactions, and only some transactions can make payments using crypto. In the future, the era of blockchain technology is developing so rapidly that fiat currencies will become memories as paper used for transactions.
There is a problem here when every transaction goes digital even in the future, people will not be willing to pay a transaction fees whenever they spend money and majority of the elected government will face a backlash if they force people to start using digital transaction and completely remove paper currency from the market. Look we have to state the fact that government will not allow a decentralized currency so for people who thinks that we will have a digital world decades later, i am against it because the government will have complete control over what we do with the money we make and that is not accepted.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 21, 2019, 09:21:56 PM
I don't know brother I am also having this feeling that we could see an unexpected result however I will see. I already have a bet for Arsenal.
Another upset for the day, i did not expect many goals in the match but i expected the goal from Arsenal but to my surprise Sheffield United scored the sole goal in the match Cheesy.

~snip
Bad predictions, Arsenal couldn't even get a single goal
I went with Sheffield to win or draw and I've got my prediction correct for tonight, I knew that with the way Sheffield united play, they'll have something up their sleeve in this game and they did.
If you want to see my prediction just go back and you can find that here

I was expecting less than 2.5 goals and that was my prediction and i never wagged a bet for Arsenal to win the match. Good for you that you predicted the right results but majority here was looking for Arsenal to win the match.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 21, 2019, 05:56:57 PM
my prediction is also 2 - 0 for Arsenal.
So everyone is predicting that Arsenal will score two goals today, lets see and it will be another fun if they end up in a draw  Cheesy. They never faced each other for a very long time and the last time they played was in 2006 and if everyone is predicting two goals i am expecting Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to score a goal.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 21, 2019, 03:20:09 PM
Well un-expressible bad day it was yesterday. Still having this bad feeling but of course we need to move on. It's Sheff vs Arsenal and I think I will gamble today LOL
Need some excitement after yesterdays drew match.
Arsenal @1.94 seems very good odd!
Anyone is with me?
After yesterdays loss i am going for a Arsenal win or draw as i do not want to take much risk today, Sheffield United is not in form either to expect a goal from them but Arsenal can score a goal and even if they win i am not expecting much goals in this match.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 21, 2019, 02:08:57 PM
Sheffield faces Arsenal in the last game of match week 9 and from my outlook I a sure that Arsenal are going to run out winners of that game and dominate the game completely.
Sheffield United has already lost two home games but they never conceded more than one goal and i am not expecting Arsenal to score more than two goals as they are not that impressive in away games this season, so i am going with under 2.5 goals and i think it is a fair bet.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: October 21, 2019, 01:43:04 PM
private coin from banks or Government mean your information is with other which is bank or government. while in the case of the bitcoin no body have information about your wallet.
There is an advantage about creating a wallet for every transaction but if you wallet is public and using the same wallet then it will be tracked to you.

And the coin from Banks or government may have tax in the future while the bitcoin is free of tax. So I think if any bank or Government introduce the crypto , people will not take interest in that.
If you are storing your coins in bitcoin you necessarily need to pay the tax but once you move that money to your bank account then you have to pay your taxes if not you will get into trouble.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My speculation for 2020 on: October 21, 2019, 09:20:14 AM
so after coinbase tweeted that they are interested in the listing of 17 barely known projects on their exchange
How they came to the decision is still a mystery and i have not heard about any of these coins till now.

i checked this thing a little and found out that most of them are in private sale
i got into a conclusion that after the next coins launch : Filecoin, Dfinity, Avalanche, Gram, Celo, Chia, Coda, Handshake, Kadena, Mobilecoin, Near, Nervos, Oasis, Orchid, Solana, Spacemesh, Polkadot.  (some of them already launched)
These are private projects and not sure what is the involvement and profit percentage they will be getting by listing these coins in the market is not clear yet.

some time after the launch of these coins there will be another market manipulation and a new altcoin bubble
it probably will happen sometime in 2020 or 2021.
Lets imagine there will be a market manipulation and a rally in the coins listed in coinbase but what is the guarantee that they will not dumb everything after the rally.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 21, 2019, 07:35:09 AM
A disappointing day for me as all my bets lost as Hoffenheim continued they form and confidence and scored two goals in the second half and a disappointed performance from Schalke as they managed only one shot on target.

Cologne was attacking and was able to shoot 6 shots on the target and three went in and Paderborn had no idea how to defend with the strategy and the third goal by the defender Sebastiaan Bornauw was unexpected .
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China’s Digital Fiat is Not a Crypto ?? on: October 20, 2019, 08:50:42 PM
Up until now there is no info regarding if China will run the digital yuan on a blockchain.
It is possible that the Chinese government will put the digital Yuan on the blockchain simply because it is easy to monitor the flow of money and to have more transparency and they like to have a complete control over their citizen and with the recent economic cold war between US they will come up with something that could challenge these restrictions.

Everything looks normal on my end now except the shortcut for bb codes and emojis aren't available. Is it just me?
There is a bit of a issue with the font size other than that everything is normal for me now and that includes bb codes and emojis.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 20, 2019, 12:18:19 PM
Today we have Cologne vs Paderborn and i am not expecting much goals in this match and both of their past matches ended up in a goalless draw, so i am going with less than 2.5 goals.

Another match is TSG Hoffenheim vs Schalke and i am going with over 2.5 goals and Hoffenheim is coming into this match with the confidence that they defeated Bayern Munich recently and it is difficult to determine how this goes but i am expecting a few goals and going for Schalke or draw.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 20, 2019, 11:24:11 AM
Today we have Manchester United vs Liverpool, there are many injuries in the Manchester United squad and they are not having a good start for the season while Liverpool is having a good season so far and i am expecting Liverpool to win the match easily and i am expecting over 2.5 goals in this match.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: October 20, 2019, 10:23:24 AM
Those who are holding, trading and investing in XRP would not wish its death and above all, the team will not want that to happen. These are the only set of people that can trigger its death.
There are many coins that are dead and people will be holding those coins, i am not telling that XRP will be dead but the possibility of seeing a huge rally in the coin is highly unlike but there is a ton of liquidity in the exchanges.

A coin that has been operating for years is definitely an already established coin. Although, there are controversies on it, but that does not result into that.
A coin operating for years does not mean that it is established it all depends on the development team they have. If they are updating and taking care of the project then it will be fine.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting Contest on: October 20, 2019, 05:18:20 AM
I like soccer and i usually wage in soccer and hence i am looking forward to see what contest you will be deciding in the end, i like Tennis too but soccer will be my priority as there are many competition to select from and there are many soccer fans here and it is the most popular sport in the world and then the rest of the sports come  Wink. We already have a English premier league contest and we need a site outside the forum to lock in the prediction that cannot be edited and that would be fair.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 04:30:16 PM
Boycott ICO because you did not get the money from the bounty is a stupid reason, that is a different story if you are an Investor you have the right to do that.
If you are advertising these bounties without knowing whether it will be a scam or not is a problem and people should stop doing that.

we might see a lot of scams but not all of them are, by boycotting the ICO means we are lessening the chance for cryptocurrency to get adopted widely.
You are wrong, the ICO market has brought a lot of negative attention in the market as billions are lost because of the scammers and no one in the right sense will trust the market and you do not need these shitty projects for the adoption of cryptocurrency.

ICO is needed because it will help an initial project to go further.
ICO is meant to help genuine initial projects but that is not we saw in the past few years, you cannot name a few projects that are still active and alive now.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 19, 2019, 04:04:20 PM
This is happened because the ease of creation erc-20 tokens. And people who want to scam just need to make a static website which just cost less than $50 if they want to hire someone to make it.
Scammers will get attracted to anything and so was the case with ETH platform as majority of the projects started to make money in a short period of time and they hired people from here to promote the projects and get more audience.

And one social media admins to handle the tricked investors. I think the creation of new tokens should cost higher so project scams will be less
The biggest problem was that the users here were helping the scammers in the form of community managers and bounty managers and the lies on how much money they raised were exposed later and got tagged but these stupids helping these scammers for pennies was just ridiculous.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 19, 2019, 03:01:25 PM
Anyone watching the Tottenham  v Watford match, i was shocked to see Watford scoring a goal in the opening minutes of the match as i never thought they will be able to score in this match, i was expecting Tottenham will have an easy night, lets see how the second half goes.

The odd for Tottenham is now 3.40 what do you think about now?
My initial bet was Watford to score less than 1.5 goals but now i have to go for Tottenham or draw  Undecided.

EDIT:
Glad to see that everyone is shocked as mine  Grin.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 19, 2019, 12:41:40 PM
Today we have Lazio vs Atalanta and i am expecting both teams to score and over 1.5 goals will be my bet for the match.
Napoli vs Verona i am going with Napoli or draw just to be on the safe side because of the bad performance in the past few matches.
Juventus vs Bologna  i am going with Juventus to win the match.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: October 19, 2019, 08:50:58 AM
Cryptocurrency trading is even more profitable than Forex trading, in my opinion. It is not as profitable as it used to be though but it's still OK.
Bitcoin trading is the most profitable form of trading than other than mode and with Forex trading you will get only minimal profit and the risk is also minimal as you wont see any major volatility in the market but when it comes to bitcoin market the risk is higher as the volatility is higher and the profit is higher.

I am beginning to think that profitable traders are those who can sit many hours without distractions, observing multiple exchanges, go through charts, researching, etc. It takes alot of patience, sacrifice and hardwork to stay that long.
Welcome to the new world of bots taking care of your assets, no one will be manually doing any of these process, learn how to program and create a bot, it is not that hard and it will trade according to your choice rather than you waiting and draining yourself  Grin.
