601  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 14, 2019, 03:17:20 PM
Bitcoin is still too volatile to realistically be used as currency.
And then, those who trust in its development will be careful not to spend it: if it really grows as expected, it would be a stupid move.
If you are looking at its base valuation then no one will be able to spend anything and that includes fiat currency, lets say you are a forex trader and if you are looking at the changes daily and holding on to your dollars or euro then you cannot have a realistic possibility to spend fiat too. You choose whether to hold it as a saving or to spend it.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: October 14, 2019, 01:47:20 PM
last years many exchange have stole their bitcoin and altcoin assets because hacker look easy to the weakness of bitcoin
I think you have a misunderstand here about the bitcoin, there is no weakness in bitcoin, if these exchanges were hacked it is because of the security weakness of those exchanges and it has nothing to do with bitcoin and its protocol. Running an exchange is easy but to take care of the security you need to have a proper system and we have not seen that and hence we see many hacks in exchanges.

sure. Public VPN always works on my computer. I use it to access blocked sites in my country. I use automatic connection to a random server when I turn on the computer. Do you think this could be the reason for the block?
It could be the reason for your account getting blocked. I am waiting for the team to respond to your query.
If there is any misunderstanding they will sort the issue, either way i am interested to know the reason for KYC and random blockage as i am seeing many complaints in the past one week from newbie accounts and hence i want to know the reason.

explain to me why this works this way?
Why does my account not participate in the bonus program, because there is a suspicion of a multi-account, but bets are allowed?
Why that does not make sense to you. If they have suspicion of having multi account then they will not allow you to participate in the bonus program and it is common sense but they will allow you to wage a bet but they will not allow you to take advantage of the system.

why I used the account for a very long time!
why wasn’t I forbidden to bet?
why the ban appeared only when I wanted to withdraw money?
THIS INDICATES A DECEPTION!
You were trying to take advantage of the bonus system and now you think that they are trying to cheat you Roll Eyes.
About the funds i am waiting to hear from the sportsbet team about the real issue here.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2019, 01:07:05 PM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?
I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?
Dabs have given you the exact reason why you nor anyone should do things like that sending your coins to a third person on the pretext to get interest or incentives, you cannot trust a third person or company to get hold of your coins, i have seen many promising exchanges come and go in the short history of bitcoin and majority have gone down because of hacks and the users are the one suffering.
606  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 100K$ by 2025 on: October 13, 2019, 12:05:19 PM
My research show BTC can hit 100K$ by 2025, What I noticed is Most people sell Their Bitcoin for 10$ Profit, they dont hold btc and they sell it for 10$ or 20$ profit, these people will never get rich.
If you done an extensive research to come up with a conclusion like this the entire forum would like to see the results and on what base you conducted the research and in what all exchanges. For you to come up with a decisive conclusion that majority of the people sell for a mere $10 profit you need to have a substantial argument to present and how you came to a conclusion that the price will hit $100K by 2025 Roll Eyes.
607  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: October 13, 2019, 05:25:02 AM
But I received the abrupt answer. We do not refund if an account is flagged regarding to self exclusion. But 2 hours later they reopened my account and apologizes because after review the found out my account had nothing to do with the self excluded accounts. But even after apologizing nothing was wrong and they apologized for the inconvenience they refuse do de something back for me and just keep the 100mBTC.
I have read your query in the thread you created in gambling discussion and if you logged in from an IP which is self excluded and their system identifies and freezes your account automatically, it is not a manually process that they saw you betting and then froze your account. So the primary mistake was yours logging in from your friends IP and they could rewrite the program to withdraw the active bets before freezing the account in the case of self excluded accounts and whether they will do so is their discretion.
Sad to hear about your loss.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 13, 2019, 03:54:26 AM
Swanson vs Gracie just finished and it was some epic incredible fight!
Cub Swanson won clean and odds was great.
The odds were great for Cub Swanson but he was coming in after loosing his last four fights and age is also not in his side and he had a lot of wars, but it was a great battle and Gracie tried his best to take him to the ground but Cub Swanson was smart enough to avoid those and allow kept a good distance and the total strikes landed in the fight is a crazy amount.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk won the fight.
609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 12, 2019, 07:04:22 PM
It really does matter in my point of view, for those who have a small capital when doing a day trading. The same I always choose the exchange costing lower fee since when I do trading my capital is just enough.
The problem with trading with small amount of money is that you cannot end up in a profit even if you sell the coins at a minimal profit because there is trading fees which might not be a big deal but the withdrawal fees is still big in majority of the exchanges and they will input the minimal transaction fees and all the exchanges have varied fees structure and i usually avoid exchanges with higher withdrawal fees if i am doing arbitrary.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: October 12, 2019, 06:06:16 PM

Norway vs Spain is another match i am going with Spain to win the match and even in this match i am expecting over 1.5 goals.
Denmark vs Switzerland i am going under 2.5 goals.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Action in relation to Bitcoin on: October 12, 2019, 04:53:28 PM
ethereum is now the best defense coin when the price of bitcoin has declined, ethereum still has good potential. but in the future I am sure this will end and ethereum will be able to connect well with the price of bitcoin
It would be great if you could explain about the potential of ETH and if you think that the price of ETH will challenge the price of bitcoin, then you are dreaming. There was a time in the past when some people thought that ETH will over take the price of bitcoin when ETH started its rally and it was really close when all the token projects started appearing in the market, now there is no way ETH is catching up with bitcoin.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 12, 2019, 03:51:42 PM
Alexander Zverev is in tremendous form and he defeat Matteo Berrettini easily and move to the finals and in the other game Daniil Medvedev defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas and that too in straight sets. Now we will have a wonderful final and i expected Stefanos Tsitsipas to win after his upset against Djokovic, now my bet is on Alexander Zverev to win the tournament.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: October 12, 2019, 02:44:51 PM
Well this would really depends on how high BTC go
Look at the past few month where BNB hit $40 at peak
If you look closely when the price of BNB hit its peak it has to do with the major hack that happened and hence i am skeptical about the rally, they lost a lot of money with that hack and there is a chance that they will try to recover with their coin and i still believe that is the case. You never know what these exchanges does behind the scene as i have seen many manipulation in the past and hence i am skeptical with every event.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 12, 2019, 01:40:03 PM
The max that South Africa can hope for at this stage is a draw which is possible only if they bat exceptionally well and I don't think they will since most of them are out of form and a single good innings by a tail-ender won't change that.
They are not getting a good start and they were not playing that good even when Srilanka visit them as they lost both the test, looks like they are finding it hard to find talented players in their country and If the batsman could learn from the tail end players and spend some time in the crease rather than trying to play the shots all the time.

615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 12, 2019, 01:15:08 PM
Sleeping on graveyards for ideas? That sounds scary to a call, how would a normal human do that. People really do a whole lot of terrible shits to get money and I am shocked to know some of this revelation. Now, does it mean many of these big winners of gambling or lottery games all did this to hit their jackpot?? I need answers to all of this .
If you know probability then you have the answer of winning the lottery or hitting the jackpot rather than believing in supernatural shits  Tongue. People will terrible things to make money and if you look at porn sites you will understand  Grin Tongue.

I am gradually losing interest in gambling with all this things I hear, it makes it look like a demonic game and who knows? It could be the reason those of us that play genuinely never makes progress.
Now this makes you look really stupid nor a kid to believe these stories  Tongue. If you think that gambling is evil, so be it, who is forcing you to gamble. Just live the way you want things rather than judging others.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Biggest altcoin portfolio on: October 12, 2019, 12:23:31 PM
What's the biggest altcoin portfolio you have ever come across?
For me, it is 25K xrp, 4.5k eth.
Many investors here in this forum had a lot of coins in their collection as they invested during the initial phase, i invested $10k during the ICO period and those who were in the market during that time knows that how many coins you will be having if you invest that much Cheesy. So these are not unusual amount and i was mining too and i made a ton of profit with ETH alone and that was the biggest profit in my entire life.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 12, 2019, 11:40:22 AM
Just like i used to include in my points that scammers is the main problem crypto is facing
The frauds and scammers are everywhere and they try to take advantage of the stupid people in the market and if some people are falling for the scams then you can call them dumb, i have seen many projects in the market advertising promising future but felt through in the end and majority of the projects were created to make money from the new market. Bitcoin is the only coin you can trust and if you stick to the core then no one is able to scam you.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: $6 Billion United Nations Agency Launches Bitcoin, Ethereum Crypto Fund on: October 12, 2019, 02:51:08 AM
That's fantastic IMO--Unicef is a legit organization that's been around for many years, and it's a good thing that they're not only accepting bitcoin and ETH for donations but that they're apparently getting involved in blockchain startups aimed at helping kids.
Since the idea of Unicef is to collect funds they might have thought that accepting virtual currencies will be easy for everyone to send funds world wide without any restrictions and it is a great addition and boost for the virtual currency world as we need major adoption like these, increase in price is secondary but this is a good advertisement for bitcoin in the long term as more organization and merchants will start accepting bitcoin if they are able to understand the freedom bitcoin gives to trade freely world wide.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Speculation Coming Soon... on: October 11, 2019, 07:01:31 PM
The main difference between the next market growth and 2017 is that now cryptocurrencies will not only have whitepapers.
What cryptocurrency are you talking about without white papers and if there is any white paper who is going to invest in those Tongue.

Projects in the next season of altcoins will grow due to the provision of work products and a wide user base. Altcoins are still a risky investment, but now the market is much healthier. Alts really have a chance to go to the Moon.
I really doubt we will have an altcoin rally like we used to see in the past, majority of the projects died in the last bear market and we might see the price moving forward according to the bitcoin market and not expecting any individual rally in altcoins.

However, the main criterion for the start of the altcoin season is Bitcoin domination decrease.
I highly doubt that bitcoin domination will decrease  Tongue.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your entire crypto right now with 500 percent profit? on: October 11, 2019, 04:35:35 PM
I am really curious about this question. To be clear, if there would be an opportunity to sell your tokens and make x5 right here and right now in exchange for promise to never invest in crypto again. How many people are ready to sell their tokens/coins at the moment and never come back?
I am ready to sell all of my altcoins right now if someone is offering me 5x without a heartbeat. I have spent a lot of time mining and i have a good amount to stash and wasted my time mining and collecting a lot of coins and i am bleeding for the past two years and when i get a chance i will cash out everything and hold into bitcoin and nothing else. I might not sell off everything but would rather keep a couple of other coins for the long term.
