121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Bear Market coming soon? on: September 29, 2019, 07:49:52 PM
Obviously I don't expect a bear market in the short run.
This may be for bitcoin maybe, but I would never expect a bear market for altcoins anytime soon. Because dominance of bitcoin is already high enough and this rate never exceeds 72-73 lately. I recently started to invest slowly in the altcoins I trust. Of course this is an amateur forecast and never includes investment advice.

I don't think It all depends on how long it lasts before we call it a bear market. Bitcoin touched $7000, Ethereum $160 and currently, the total market capitalization is way under $220 billion. So I think we are in bear market already and there's no long green candles foreseen to snap the market out of it soon
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: September 29, 2019, 07:43:33 PM
Judging by all means, we need to wait for progress from ETH, the team is working on improving the network, now it is impossible to imagine trading in pairs without ethereum. It is everywhere, that's why it will be obligated to grow, I think so.
It will be very difficult for Ethereum to prove its first place among Altcoins, after the release of TON. I say I think it’s realistic to buy a telegram coin even when its capitalization is above 7 billion dollars.

Has Telegram (TON) concluded its IEO. Since it will not behave like a stable coin like the proposed Libra coin, it might just be wise to get some now. If its listed in any exchange, kindly drop the trade link.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell bitcoin to buy fiat or altcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 04:10:46 PM
I will never sell bitcoins for altcoins. I rathe take on some bitcoin trades and then invest in altcoins. Selling your bitcoins is a wrong move and you might even be caught unaware of any bull run
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: September 28, 2019, 09:39:15 PM
I think investing in cryptocurrency is a good idea if you are doing it with your spare funds. I choose to invest only in bitcoins and I have new ledger wallet ordered from Amazon for it. Anyway, endeavour to diligently research on which every crypto that interests you for investment
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: September 28, 2019, 09:32:00 PM
this is the big bullshit until today, waves can't never replace ethereum place since ethereum populr few year ago just one-sided claims from waves developer, as we know few month ago waves price are down so deeply and touched 1 satoshi in Binance exchange after Bitcoincash war.

moreover in the next year ethereum want launching Ethereum 2.0 waves platform getting further behind from ethereum

I am almost oblivious of the waves blockchain at the moment. The last time I traded a token on waves platform was in 2018. Waves do not have a versed community nor strong developmental milestones, I wonder how it will be better than Ethereum which is actually the biggest coin after Bitcoin and keeps maintaining its position because of its strong foundation and architecture
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 28, 2019, 08:59:53 PM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

The market conditions are generally poor and cryptocurrency traders are not happy buying at the moment. So this causes a general poor volume flowing towards newly listed altcoins also, the high bonuses given to investors makes them dump easily at exchange listing. To add salt to the injury would be if the developers distribute airdrop or bounty rewards too at listing Wink
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN CZ (BCZ) (New Technology) - new coin with only 2 Million Coins MAX on: September 28, 2019, 08:42:40 PM
Ok from discord update:

made a list of 22 exchanges to apply to by the end of the year (where we have real chances)
we will review and confirm it with team to approach when we have wp ready

https://t.co/cnUjulhr1x

1. Binance
2. Coinbase Pro
3. HitBTC
4. Huobi Global
5. Gate.io
6. Bittrex
7. LATOKEN
8. Hotbit
9. KuCoin
10. Gemini
11. Poloniex
12. Bibox
13. P2PB2B
14. BitMart
15. Livecoin
16. Mercatox
17. STEX
18. YoBit
19. FCoin
20. FatBTC
21. BITKER
22. CoinExchange.io

That's quite alot and ambitious to say the least from the team. As much as I like to dream because I am a holder of bcz coins, I would rather say that it will be an undoing on me to hope that listing on Binance, Huobi and Coinbase listing will be achieved so soon. Any good exchange like KuCoin will be the best news for me this year
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap Cryptocurrencies(<$1) With Huge Potential on: September 27, 2019, 09:55:13 PM
I love pundix. As a matter of fact, I have bagged enough I can. Next for me is to be patient while their products infiltrate the market. It may take time but it will surely happen as more and more people adopt their point of sales solution and BoB phone from their sister blockchain FunctionX
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Value??? on: September 27, 2019, 09:50:12 PM
Does anyone have any logical reasons why ETH price is still so low compared to its actual value? Isn't it like 70% of all the prominent ICO's, IEO's, STO's are all built on top of the Ethereum network? They require buying gas to run right? Wouldn't that create demand, and result in an increasing price for ETH? Is it safe to say it's being price suppressed? Or do I not understand how the platform works?

Market conditions not give permission ETH for Moon.

BTC keeping all coins and crush them with strong movements to Up or Down.

By the way ETH is the one of the strongest coin against BTC

2020 ETH 2.0 news may help ETH go to moon independent from BTC prices.

Apart from general market conditions, I feel the powers at Ethereum foundation knows how important the Ethereum 2.0 implemation would be and that's why they work hard on it. The recent high gases and frequent clogged network is a disatisfing factor that all Ethereum fans wish to see solved soon. Once it's done, the price will improve
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A True Cryptocurrency must start with the fundamentals on: September 22, 2019, 09:42:10 PM

Leonardo D’ Vinci was once asked, by a patron,
“how do you create such magnificent works out of rocks?”
His answer came immediate and sure,
“I chip away everything that’s not angel”

A true Cryptocurrency must start with the fundamentals...based on principles of the highest order.
What would a true cryptosystem look like if it had everything in it from the beginning?
Then pruned "everything that’s not angel"?

Some suggestions for inclusion I've read, in no particular order:

An authenticatable mechanism for true open market price/value discovery.
Vertical integration of all key elements in transaction chain, creating a stacked margin or flywheel effect.
Cross-pollinating profit centers.
Solid and diverse uses case.
Perpetual Self-Funding of protocol development.
Community auditable high-value income producing assets, driving price/value appreciation utility/fungibility.
Leverage Existing Communities, Developers, Publishers, Payment Providers, and Merchants to Drive Value, Utility and Fungibility.

The Flywheel model produces these benefits without relying on Network Effects or Economies of Scale at the outset (think Amazon, Walmart, Atlassian).
IMO, Although Bitcoin, Ethereum, et al., may be Directionally and Conceptually Correct, they are far from being Complete Monetary Eco-System Solutions. The Monetary Eco-System and Cryptocurrencies that will Ultimately Succeed, Have Not Been Visioneered, Engineered and Brought to Market, Yet...

I wish we can really bring it down to the layman's level, I equally agree that a true cryptocurrency has to have all fundamental qualities to make it so but with all been said, can you please enumerate the few cryptocurrencies that make this cut of being a true crypto. It will help the ordinary cryptocurrency enthusiasts outline and identify true cryptos
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MIRACLE TELE SCAM??? on: September 22, 2019, 09:34:12 PM
OP, you are promoting Bitwings. Something tells me that Bitwings is very similiar company to MiracleTele.
They also have working product, perfect marketing, good profits, but it looks too good to be true.
have you do research ? this is a little bit OOT with this thread. but i hope bitwings not like MiracleTele
You cant compare bitwings with miracle tele, although working products doesn't justified the outcome of any project cos anything can happen but bitwings mobile have been in existence for longer than miracletele, bitwings have huge teams behind them and miraclete has too little to none, bitwings hunt for the massive with their mobile product and laptops unlike miracle tele

The last time I checked, it looked like Bitwings are making plans to launch a blockchain phone like FunctionX. I didn't see much partners to further convince me on it but now that you have brought it up, I might just have to revist the Bitwings website and dig further
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any Altcoins out there backed by real assets? on: September 22, 2019, 09:30:11 PM

Looking for an Altcoin that is backed by something; akin to the Gold standard as opposed to just speculation....

Thanks in Advance

That is true, asides Us dollar and Gold, I have not really come across any cryptocurrency backed by physical assets like crude or other precious stones. However, I belive it will come soon or later as cryptocurrency adoption gains momentum worldwide

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao has own cryptocurrency called Pac on: September 20, 2019, 09:57:27 PM
The "Pac" token will be listed on Singapore's Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) and counts Pacquiao and ex-Liverpool and England soccer star Michael Owen as private investors, along with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed al-Nahyan, a member of Abu Dhabi's ruling family. It is the world's first celebrity cryptocurrency. Tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki, Owen and singer Jason Derulo also plan to launch their own crypto tokens with GCOX.
Okay lets put up some link on here https://www.zdnet.com/article/manny-pacquiao-launches-his-own-fan-backed-cryptocurrency/

https://medium.com/@gcoxofficial/michael-owen-joins-gcox-worlds-first-celebrity-crypto-exchange-as-investor-advisor-and-5d2e098f87bf
https://www.dayofdubai.com/news/gcox-signs-mou-his-highness-sheikh-khaled-bin-zayed-al-nahyan-expand-global-celebrity-token

No doubt that this GCOX would create some buzz into this crypto world yet its been backed by heavily rich and popular personalities.

While it's commendable that our celebrities are joining the crypto fray and will help with publicity which is very much needed, yet, I am poised to ask if effort on the blockchain must have its own crypto. The last time I checked, Akon is set to launch his cryptocurrency too and some other celebrities. I get we just have to focus on the positive sides of their involvement
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: September 19, 2019, 11:24:55 PM
Sincerely speaking, if I were a newbie I would do less research on a project seeing that it's from a Legendary member of this reputable platform. Legendary members are the highest ranking members of this community and are often respected more because of their wealth of experience. But then, its still imperative to always personally research on any project you wish to invest into. The Acronym DYOR can never be overemphasised
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping crypto from mass adoption? on: September 19, 2019, 11:21:12 PM
The crypto space is not very noob friendly: bitcoin and blockchain are complex daunting topics; cryptocurrencies themselves are not very user-friendly; and the cryptocurrency space has gathered a bad reputation for being filled with scams. A small mistake sending coins from your wallet can cause you to lose your money and ruin your experience. So, while everyone has heard about blockchain and bitcoin, people are not only unsure how to get started, they are also faced with these high barriers to entry.

TokenTuber’s mission is to lower the barriers to entry to the cryptocurrency space so that mass adoption of cryptocurrencies can be achieved. On TokenTuber you can learn and educate yourself on everything you need within the crypto space. We will hold your hand and guide you on your journey in the crypto world. Not only that, you can also earn your first cryptocurrency and trade it with absolutely no cost.

We are looking for global partners to make this vision become reality!  Feel free reach us via contact@tokentuber.com

*Whitepaper is available on our website!

check this scenario:

Mr A owns a store where he sells groceries. B, is a customer. He comes in and purchases groceries worth $200. B wants to pay in Eth and Mr A agrees and he receives $200 worth of Eth as payment from B. 30 minutes later, that $200 worth of Eth is now valued at $175 based on current exchange pricing. In other words, Mr A, just made a loss in sales. Next time, he won't be too keen on receiving payments in Eth again.

Fix this volatility issue first and watch as adoption grows massively

As regards fixing the issue, there should be a mechanism that converts the Ethereum recieved by the store owner to stable coin immediately on receipt to avoid loss of value(based on store owner's preference). With that been said, the perpetual hack and fraud incidents in crypto is also a major displeasing factor why adoption stalls
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: September 19, 2019, 11:15:02 PM
Do any of you have plans on how you'll eventually spend your crypto?

I'll be using Zeex Cool Their protocol lets you to buy gift cards directly with crypto and spend them with major retailers like Amazon, Starbucks, Playstation etc. with no fees. And they're backed by their sister company Zeek, which is already the biggest gift card provider in Europe, so the platform will be up and running quickly after their token sale.

Here is their website if you're interested: https://www.zeex.me/

One year plus down the line and I wonder what happened to this promising project. Ita token is not listed on coinmarketcap, their last pinned message on Telegram was in April and last tweet was April 28. Are they still developing the project underground or it has gone down the drain with other numerous projects with lip sync promises. Project developers should really do more to stop tainting crypto image
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. on: September 18, 2019, 10:05:30 PM
As it stands, I am rather putting money into the top 10 altcoins for the 10 percent trades. These coins are the primary reactors in the market after bitcoin and safer to trade unlike other coins on coinmarketcap. Till there's a positive turn around and trust in the market, investing in any other coin will be considered high risk by me
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: September 18, 2019, 09:48:44 PM
Ethereum has been quite frustrating for over two weeks now. Gas fees are so high and the network lags hugely. Reminds me of a tweet from Vitalik where he said that the network has little space enough to take more cryptocurrency projects on its blockchain. I hope Ethereum 2.0 improves the network because its highly needed at the moment
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 16, 2019, 11:45:02 PM
Are you playing to lose or you are playing to win? a friend of mine lose all his bitcoin to trading and when he started complaining about i decide to take a look and i detected that he traded in a gambler's way.
He has 100$ and he traded just twice with 50$ which results in quick lose,im not an trading expert but most trading platforms always warn traders to limit their trading to the highest of 10$ which would have given him more chances to continue trading

Apart from not learning how trading works he is playing to lose,i think this is what many newbies are doing as well,if you are doing the same you will always end up losing your money,if you want to bet 50$ on a trade you must have thousands  of dollars on the trading platform not trading with 100$ and be praying for a miracle.

Trading is not something you can rush, expert traders out there spend days trading for profits and if a particular day is full of loss they quit trading for that day.

You have spoken well. The culture of reading in cryptocurrency has diminished as people are now after quick bucks. Years ago, you have to read tons of materials to learn the do's and don'ts of the industry even before participating in trading. Another factor making traders loose money is greed. If you have lots of it, you will be recked
