Just found out bitbook won't have spring training.
122  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDrafts.com | Daily Fantasy Sports for Bitcoin | Freerolls Start Today! on: February 21, 2014, 08:58:37 PM
I registered, thanks for letting us try it out.  What was the comment about you have to play a game before withdrawing free btc?  This applies for freerolls as well??
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 21, 2014, 08:48:22 PM
bit book, are you going to have spring training MLB?  and will you have 1st 5 inning bets?

I think it's set to 35:1 right now if you bet a number.  The 0 makes it a losing odds bet.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition To Remove Mark Karpeles From The Bitcoin Foundation Board on: February 21, 2014, 03:35:26 PM
He called the cops on the protesters

Is that true?  What's the latest on the protesters?
I suppose in Japan you can't just stand in one place for a long time holding a piece of paper?  I think that would be allowed in the US...(although who knows nowadays)
126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero trade commissions on CoinMKT for a week on: February 21, 2014, 03:27:12 PM
I saw some manipulators manipulate the price lower, way lower, last night.  I had to inform coinmkt authorities  and apparently they did not know about this.  I'm surprised they aren't wtching the trades a little more closely, I have no idea how the manipulators were able to get trades to go through well below the bid/ask price though.
127  Economy / Speculation / Price manipulators on: February 21, 2014, 03:25:39 PM
I often trade on a site with a low amount of trades because I like how it gets less attention and it's more likely to pay out when I request funds.  Yesterday I saw like 10 trades that went WAY below the current bid/sell spread.  I have no idea how someone was able to manipulate the price down but I'm sure it's happening on other sites as well.  Can you just put in buy and sells limit order at the exact moment and they'll get matched and ignore the better prices in the orders that are already out there?  I did inform the owner and they said they would take action against the account that did it but I was like, wait, you needed me to tell you, you're not watching it yourself for stuff like that? WTF
128  Economy / Gambling / Re: Everydice.com | 0.99% Edge - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair - Instant on: February 21, 2014, 03:17:25 PM
I'm sure you're aware, it will be hard to compete with some other dice sites if there is no faucet at least to let users try it out a little first.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDrafts.com | Daily Fantasy Sports for Bitcoin | Freerolls | Reward Program on: February 21, 2014, 03:16:00 PM
Ok obviously there's also the problem that almost no one has signed up for any matches.  Do they get filled later in the day or is this always a problem?
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDrafts.com | Daily Fantasy Sports for Bitcoin | Freerolls | Reward Program on: February 21, 2014, 03:14:30 PM
Checking this out for the first time.  Just registered.  How do I enter a freeroll? or when do they start, etc. thanks.
131  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 21, 2014, 03:01:38 PM
After several months of this, realize that most of us need to "calm down" when something goes wrong (unless you were actually doing something wrong).  It was an oversight plus he paid you another $20 for the mistake on his part, which he didn't have to do.  Stunna has certainly earned a wide berth in terms of reputation, in my opinion.
132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Re Mt Gox Endgame on: February 21, 2014, 02:38:23 PM

It seems to me that the key and fundamental issue here (or at least one of them) is that no one seems to really KNOW FOR SURE what is going on with Mt. Gox, so there is a lot of speculation.

If the exchanges were regulated, Bitcoin could be at $2000 today because TRUST is the key issue keeping the price down.

The exchanges must be transparent and it is up to us as the Bitcoin community to band together to insure that that happens.

If we want Bitcoin to survive.

I agree.  Just like the regular stock market, it's the uncertainty which is driving the prices down.
133  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox's new office on: February 21, 2014, 02:36:44 PM
WHat a cowardly move to run and hide now to a new "virtual" office.  Sure they could have hired a security guard or two but come on.  What they need to try now is honesty (I'm sure they won't) and say approximately how much got stolen.  If they said "2000 btc were stolen" and that's why they will limit withdrawals, and they'll limit them for 2 months, then the panic might wear off a little.  It's just like the stock market - uncertainty is what hurt it.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Boston has a Bitcoin ATM on: February 21, 2014, 02:22:45 PM
I'd love to hear a testimonial of someone selling there.  I'd definitely try that out, if someone else tried it first (sorry I'm a wimp).
135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roulette'm | 100K Satoshi Give-Away | 3000 Satoshi Faucet | 1.35% House Edge on: February 21, 2014, 02:21:28 PM
ANy time frame on how long withdrawals will be disabled and when the new version will be coming?

I don't think it's good for credibility to disable withdrawals without a plan of starting them again (see Mt. Gox)
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BTCUP | Start increase your balance today + Start-up giveaway on: February 21, 2014, 02:20:13 PM
THis is a ponzi, and the operator basically just tried to make it more and more confusing so you can't tell what you're actually doing, except losing money of course.
137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roulette'm | 100K Satoshi Give-Away | 3000 Satoshi Faucet | 1.35% House Edge on: February 21, 2014, 02:16:49 PM
I requested a withdrawal a while ago, and didn't check this thread and didn't know withdrawal has been disabled.
I can see my account balance go down already, so will it go through after the upgrade?

My account: Crossbow

What do you mean you can see your account balance go down already?

Also, I'm bummed about the faucet reduction.  I thought it would happen though.  No one at these new sites realizes how many people will sit there and endlessly play for free BTC.
138  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKEBTC.COM | Sportsbook/Casino | INSTANT Deposits/Withdrawals | Live Support on: February 21, 2014, 03:41:18 AM
Omg. Is site back up yet?  Hey guys site can go back up all three plays lost!  Dang man there was that one in overtime too!  So glad I didn't get sucked in by their bonus.  If site is down, owner absolutely should have posted what was wrong on this forum. Maybe it's all over,  how many ppl still got BTC there?
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Predictious.com | The Premier Bitcoin Prediction Market | Trade & Win Bitcoins! on: February 20, 2014, 11:03:48 PM
just tried to visit site for first time and could not access site.  Obviously not impressed.
140  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mt.Gox Multi-plaintiff Suit on: February 20, 2014, 10:47:21 PM
Another question for the OP. Will your attorney ask for an order freezing all Mt. Gox accounts immediately?

It seems like one could make the argument for irretrievable harm given the possibility of someone taking off with the BTC. This could possibly justify freezing all their accounts, both their fiat accounts and BTC wallets.

At this point, I suspect it would be best for all concerned, and the BTC markets in general, if some legal authority was over-seeing this process.

Agreed.  If this was in the US you could def get an injunction.  However I don't know the law in Japan.  Even if you could sue Gox in the US, which I think you could, you would only be able to freeze their US assets (are there any?)
