121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vanity Addresses, Last Digits? on: November 29, 2020, 01:27:37 AM
<snip>
which means that you are safe in the way you are doing on how to check bitcoin address before sending. The Vanity address takes time to search for a BTC address that can match your btc address. Besides, anyone whom you will be sending with your btc address is not being manually encoded for it is just being copied and paste so no way you can get confused whether you have input the wrong address or receiving the wrong btc address. Checking it is just to make sure your transaction to become successfully receiving or sending the right address you use.
122  Other / Meta / Re: In the process of willingly locking mdayonliner [locked: Password inside] on: November 29, 2020, 01:21:02 AM

It's the forum equivalent of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGcHNnI2mh4

I just watch the video and I was emotional to see at first few seconds.

The best part was at the end of the video. 😂

Anyway, in my opinion the OP had been attached to the forum after having here for a while. It us just that being here in the forum is one the best thing that happen and surely one will going to missed. High chance that creating another account will going to happen as time goes by missing the part where we enjoyed the most here.

What I enjoyed the most here in the forum is all about exchanging of ideas. Learning does always comes first and earning is just a bonus.

To OP:

Good luck on your next journey. I felt the heavy pain in you after your emotiional announcement of departing here in the forum. I know you had enjoy so much for being here but it just that mistakes happen. I do believe you will still be able to impart your knowledge though it might not happen here in the forum but it could be anywhere else you might get into.
123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What your aim in bitcointalk ? on: November 29, 2020, 12:50:11 AM
I wish the new forum software will be launched and all of us will going to transfer with it. If that software is an upgrade then we might be seeing or will going to experience a good way to learn which is probably inducive for the bitcoiners.

Well, being here in the forum is a privilege and are free whatever you want. The exchange of information here is one of the reason why keeping me in the forum not only for cryptocurrency but also to other news and current events. Earning from bounty is just a bonus and it should not be the reason for you to make it as a means of living. The profit from bounty hunting does not suffice for a living especially if you are a breadwinner. Hence, you need to find a real job or involve in business.

Anyway, one of the best feature in my own opinion is that the forum is not only for cryptocurrency but also about charity helpiglng other people especially in times of calamity and quick response is needed. I see @cabalism13 doing well in it as well as @CryptopreneurBrainboss.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An Interview with Andreas M. Antonopoulos regarding 51% attacks on Bitcoin on: November 29, 2020, 12:41:07 AM
I am not a techie when it comes to blockchain but as I read through the OP, it made me some relief that bitcoin will stay strong after such attack and that hackers should be able to sustain their activities while spending lot of money. I do believe in bitcoin system but with these attempt of hacking it may also create another threat to bitcoin system. They had already started it and may continue to explore other ways to hack the system. They may not be successful now but who knows in their next attack it would be successful and probably bitcoin will fall which we do not like it to happen.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered the “gold” of crypto investment? on: November 25, 2020, 05:45:48 AM
Yes, both Gold and Bitcoin are an asset. Both do good but if we really compare and what could be more valuable gold vs. bitcoin then my answer is bitcoin. Gold is a good investment and also mean a good profit in holding it over a period of time. Bitcoin is new and a way better than gold because of its utilization. It could be far better than any other digital or any kind of currency. Well, bitcoin demand is always good and the evidence is the crypto market now that are good.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid effect and Crpto blessing on: November 25, 2020, 05:42:19 AM
meaning since 2017 all the bounty you have joined never bring you profit?
Shittokens have never been profitable. From their conception they were used to get people to buy ether and pump ETH while scamming a lot of people out of their money. In their initial days they were some pumps since the hype was still alive and newbies didn't know any better, but soon enough it turned into immediate dumps and scams that never even lift off.
This is one of the problem with cryptocurrency that there people who are here just to scam and take advantage with the cryptocurrency flaws. Cryptocurrency is a good technology or system like the bitcoin system. If only it will just be use in a nice and better way then pretty sure cryptocurrency now would even bloom and will go through a wide adaptation in which most country will surely to accept and even integrate in their system if they wanted too. Anyway, there is no perfect system or platform but hopefully bitcoin system will be develop and find some ways that it could be done better for a wide adaptation of this technology with comfort of using the platform.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Find out how social trading is transforming the crypto landscape on: November 24, 2020, 02:12:19 PM
I had been hearing or seeing this kind of strategy to etoro trading platform.where you can copy the known trader in his trading strategies and skills. But trading for me is not all about skill and strategy in trading for cryptocurrency volatility is highly unpredictable and it so hard to.speculate when to sell.or not. The profit in crypto trading will only be matter on how good you are in speculating  bitcoin market prices or crypto prices.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 24, 2020, 02:08:35 PM
Bitcoin is a good choice actually if you wishes to transact in anonymous to protect your privacy especially of it involves huge transactions that surely the banks will getting. The  bitcoin uses peer to peer network and does not needing any third party services needed that can take high taxes or transaction fee. This is not the way bitcoin is created and nor it will not happen to bitcoin instead it could only apply to banks and their services. However, bitcoin supply is only 21M and that is too.short if all the people around the world will get each a bitcoin.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: November 22, 2020, 07:37:50 AM
Well, yes but not to all altcoin. Reminders that there are good altcoins in the market like ETH and other altcoins which unexpectedly became bullish as it even surpasses bitcoin market price like the YFI coins that reach to 32K$ and that the price now is 24K$. This is more like a bull run for bitcoin. Anyway, bitcoin now is going strong and s does the other altcoins like XRP. Other altcoins had gone so bad so this is why altcoins could have a good confidence in the market but it all depend on the people behind the project and the marketing team.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 22, 2020, 07:33:31 AM
Yeah, I get the point after reading the article. However, it is still a theory that may or may not happen. The development of the new computers can lead also a way for a bitcoin to adapt new technology for community adaptation. Bitcoin can end if people does not want bitcoin and that is the clear thing or reason why bitcoin will going to end compared than the five reason that the article had been speculating.

However, I do believe that people support to bitcoin is always there and it can only be alter if there will be something new that could replace bitcoin for them to enjoy its use.
131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I increase my Newbie rank? on: November 22, 2020, 07:17:59 AM
Just always hang in the forum for a while and then later on you will going to learn here.

There are so many things you need to learn here in the forum. However, I see you are posting in the right section. Just keep on asking on things that you are confused or needs to discuss with. I can guarantee you that this forum has full of good members that can help you out in acquiring the knowledge and skill needed here.

Or you can also use the other platforms to learn like google search engine so that you can get some answers which could not also be found here. Again, just take your time for being here and all of it will be worth while. BTW, do not forget to read the forum rules and regulations. Yoi don't want to get banned in the forum aren't you?
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 07:11:41 AM
Not your key not your coin,  just got non-custodain next time.
But how can you sell from non-custodian wallets? Most of my coins are in hardware wallets. But I was planning to sell some btc to take advantage of this bull run but because of this crap Coinbase I can't  Cry

Is there any other way to buy/sell without using exchange?
I thought there are decentralized exchange that you can use whenever you wanted to have a complete control over your bitcoin and liquidity. For now, this is a lesson learn and to sort things out it is better make good use of those decentralized exchange right after your coinbase account will be done for reviewing. In this case if it will take some time then good luck on the ATH if you can aticipate this time but for now if not then wait again for the next ATH. However, that would be some time to make it happen.
133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners should know on: November 21, 2020, 09:48:41 AM
Fake exchanges, Phishing sites, Malware links are hard to avoid especially if one is always in a hurry. There is never easy in this part unless you are techie and knows well even at the first sight that the link provided or the sites when checking the site address is a fake or a phishing site. Definitely this is one of the reason why many bitcoiners and other crypto enthusiasts get scam or hack by them. However, getting an offline wallets for bitcoin or other crypto if applicable will be a good choice and decision to make to avoid getting scam or hack. Hopefully, everyone or platforms could be more secure like integrating KYC using mobile phone numbers as what other platforms had been into but I do not know how secured this kind of 2FA but for me it is quite good especially in withdrawing money which needed the code before it will be process sent to the 2FA devices or the likes.

This post was posted in the year 2019, I think that OP is no longer giving the smerits he had or if he does then good luck and hopefully you may be able to receive it. I will going to apply also if OP will going to response in you in the hope that in a little way with our effort to get merits will be possible by this merit give away threads. Though I am not asking to receive get merits but of course to rank up to the next level which I will be needing 137 merits of which it could be a long and difficult to reach the next rank while others could easily do it because they too are a good posters and mostly like me is an average poster that needing more time and effort to make quality post.

Anyway, good find though of this thread which is not being locked up by OP. Meaning that there is still chance that the OP could still reward merits to the members that will post their quality posts for review.

138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bring back the Bitcoin FUN during this ATH period :-> on: November 20, 2020, 08:52:34 AM
It was a one way to motivate people to always visit here in the forum. Now, that the forum has been doing well in terms of the number of registered users, number of onlines and pile of post per day then I guess it did not become necessary and this is why we are not seeing it now. However, I wish too I could join if there could be any because this is the first time I am seeing bitcoin got a real value and first to anticipate bitcoin bull run.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Hoping that its the end of corona virus on: November 20, 2020, 06:18:44 AM
Most of us are really hoping to end this pandemic and so that we can get back to the real normal. It is so hard these days that affecting the community on how we have move within the community observing the minimum requirements to observe not to get the virus because the virus can easily spread. Hopefullt all of the restrictions will going to end soon.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: US Household Incomes Increased More in 2018 Than in Previous 20 Years—Combined on: November 19, 2020, 02:11:29 PM
I am not pretty sure if the data being presented are all correct but I guess if it did then there are many reason why US has a good income as what OP stated or qouted in an article. One is that the confidence the leader had been inspired them to do what can things can be done for their country. I had seen Trump having a good in decision making and this benefited the ita community. I had also remember a certain news that the United States had been constructing projects in their place instead of investing or constructing it to other countries that can help the company be less in operating expenses and because of this structures it added livelihood, create jobs and added the constructed project as an asset for the United states people and this the reason why USA that time specified by the OP had shown community having good income.
