561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about transaction fees on: September 29, 2020, 04:53:41 AM
Exchange fee will depend on the exchanges like.here in our place exchange fee is more higher than other exchanges. Base on my understanding is that aside from the transaction fee deducted to every transaction the user will also pay the exchange fee from its operation licenses granted to them by the government. Most likely government will get fee from the exchanges. The worst part would be making cryptocurrency as an asset to which they will take tax on it in every transaction. This will make more the transaction fee to go high.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 29, 2020, 04:36:08 AM
Still the house edge is on the casino yes? The slot machine are design for the gamblers to lose but playing those games are really good and it could be addicted like others did sitting whole day in the slot machine playing. Anyway, I would not disagree on OP about his opinion on playing with skills because all it will depend on the gambler. Gambler should know that playing slot machines or any games to have a limitation in time of playing and should only consider gambling as leisure activity.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 29, 2020, 04:31:12 AM
Jimmy is good but he will not be defending Lebron more often, the best gift Miami had this season was getting a healthy Andre Iguodal because he "owns" Lebron, in fact I had already put my bet in the NBA Finals for Andre Iguodala to win Finals MVP.

Also, coach spo knows Lebron, he was his coach when Bron played with Miami, this is a great interesting series and I'm expecting that this will happen again.

Andre Iguodala is worst NBA Finals MVP in last 30 years

Are sure Iguodala is healthy? He seems like been rusty now without the support of the good players like what he had before in the Golden State. I believe curry, thompson and durant would be the best candidate for MVP in winning a crucial game with their ability to score with high percentage at three point goal area. But this is not what the board usually will look at because they consider more the other statistics. But if would to decide I will chose an MVP that coule come up in the last minute of playing basketball to carry and win the game.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 29, 2020, 04:25:52 AM
He have powers to lift his suspension and I believe Calvin already learn his lesson for that incident, I wonder why they have bad blood and didn't let Calvin to go back again. Also the #Letcalvinplay  is trending now on facebook and I wonder the commissioner or the other govern bodies in PBA still insist to put him back on the court. For sure many fans will get more dissappointed if Abueva will still not be seen in this season.
Nah, we can still expect abueva like before. It is in his attitude about in his plays though it is effective for him because he was able to get a good support from the fans. PBA has started to become good now that NBA will going to start the FINALS and after that Filipino basketball fans can focused already on PBA. For now, we still need to watch the Miami vs. lakers best of seven series game and bet if possible. I am actually looking for a local betting plus one game on miami vs. lakers.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2020, 03:05:24 AM
Government are actually supporting new technology and that the community should decide wether to join in it or not. But to those technology or platform that wi violate the rulings of the government then the government will imposed the implementing policies to protect the community.

I can see that due to love of cryptocurrency government had been letting the community for consumption but musy proceed with caution and this is the reason why exchanges here in our place had been given license to operate and made some caution, notice and the likes in every transaction made.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: September 29, 2020, 03:01:56 AM
Storing seed phrase for any bitcoin or digital wallet should not be disclose for it can trigger hackers to get your seed phrase in a way that they had already some clue.

But storing a seed phrase is a good discussion especially if seed phrase store not in any digital devices like notes, vault(fire proof) or any way that cannot be access through internet. It can also be done in scripting it to the hard surfaces like woods, limestones and etc. LOL.

For me the best way to store seed phrase is to keep it in notes safety in a storage box or place where it could not be access to anyone unless you wanted to trust it with someone.
567  Other / Meta / Re: {LIST}of the Merit Sources asking for more smerit. New Round. on: September 29, 2020, 12:05:16 AM
UP, I started using my earned Merits after my source Merits end. Smiley

We need some increase, or at least the distribution of sMerits that other merit sources do not use (either because they are inactive or they have not sent all of their sMerits.) Cheesy
Other users after receiving few merits are not utilizing it or giving to others for no certain reason. It was their privilege anyways but if merit source asking for some merits then I doubt that the merit ciculation is not healthy at all. However, if only merits were being utilized and has been decayed then pretty sure admin can get an exact expectation of merits circulation for users will not be hoarding it anymore and higher chance to send it to others or to their alt accounts.
568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For your ready reference on cryptocurrency exchange! on: September 28, 2020, 02:32:33 PM
<snip>
Yeah that was a good list of exchanges basing on their volumes.

thanks for sharing it here in the reply because it could be another reference to other users as well that likes to know more about good exchanges. I am not claiming that the list above are good since it was all base on google search engine where I had made a little effort for your ready reference compilations.
569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For newbies eyeing to involve in cryptocurency, be careful! on: September 28, 2020, 01:51:57 PM
The article is long, you does not explain to beginners how to identify scam and how to bypass this type of fraud?
There are few earning and many scam, teaching people how to identify fraud is better than telling them what fraud is?
It does  not matter how long or short the article was the important is the title. One can have their common sense even if being lazy to red it all. The important thing is that we knew already what are those things tha we should be aware of and continue to spread awareness to all even if it means making another the same thread. It can save users getting into these baits and we do not want that to happen to other users being a victim.of such activities.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: September 28, 2020, 10:46:09 AM
It seems like Running candidate for presidential Joe Biden has higher odds here compared to the incumbent that if data in the presented pictures are accurate. However, in every elections the results are always unexpected. Here in our place a celebrity running for a senator position then being in a case of plunder even gets into prison with his budots dance ads in tv network made him win in senatorial candidate. It was unexpected that I thought people know how to vote but they don't because they only vote the candidate according to their popularity and not their works, skills and platform.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 28, 2020, 10:34:42 AM
In betting sports I am not only relying on my analysis instead I used to ask my friends regarding on their stand of a certain match. Sometimes we have the same thoughts about the game and sometimes may not but I am open on their analysis and my bet is always subject for change. However, after some considerations I made up my mind and stand on my decision.

That's right, but let's return to the OP's question. Is it possible that knowing all those facts makes you to overcomplicate and overthink things, and to make a wrong bet in the end, a bet that is worse than one placed at random?

I personally think that someone who knows as much as possible, although may lose sometimes due to bad luck, definitely has an advantage in the long run.
Yes, this is actually true if one really knows a lot then he had a good decision in betting unless he is still confuse with lots of information being feed to him then definitely he is not learning at all. He is just aware and confuse that make him more difficult to decide and bet.
572  Other / Meta / Re: The strict policy in Bitcointalk. on: September 28, 2020, 10:21:48 AM
The forum had only implemented their rulings over thr violator. Actually I do not see strict on their implemented rules unless you likely to violate and and had some hard time with the rules and regulations.

If you are here just to shitpost, plagiarizing and doing bounty reports then you are not in the right track. You can't earn merits because no one will like to give merits on bounty reports, shitposts and plagiarize content. Doing those things will surely be hard for you to earn merits. If I were you OP try a different way like behaving here in the forum, actively participating in discussions and share your ideas that might be helpful or will contribute to the forum and the community.

If you wanted to earn merits OP try to check merited posts and how they obtain those merits. But If I were you stick on always being helpful and not only focusing on bounty reports. Hopefully you will be able to see your worth as a member of the forum and not just seeing the forum as sort of a source for income. This is forum and not about earnings. So change the way you see the forum as earning opportunity instead as learning opportunity.
573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For your ready reference on cryptocurrency exchange! on: September 28, 2020, 06:19:09 AM
Thanks for the reply but honestly I am still learning about the exchanges if they were decentralized or centralized exchange. But mostly listed exchange are centralized and I think it is better to transact in the centralized exchange for it is easy and user friendly interface. But still it will depend on the exchange and the feed back of the users. I will try to consider next some important details to include in my future posts. Since, my reference is all about exchanges then I have include all exchanges I know wether it is decentralized or centralized. Hopefully, that list will do for those who are new to cryptocurrency.

575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any metamask experts? on: September 27, 2020, 01:27:44 AM
If you have save the seed phrase somewhere else in the computer and deleted it then you can able to recover the seed phrase by recovering the deleted files in the computer. Use the data file recovery that is available and could be download but you need to buy for the application to get started. I have my shared post regarding to data file recovery and it is an old version but still new version had the same functions but different in interface more user friendly actually. Try to read my post here For your ready reference on Data file recovery.

577  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] FreeBitco.in Signature Campaign | Sr./Hero/Legendary | on: September 26, 2020, 12:55:58 PM
This is a very good offer. If only I can have a rank at least sr. member then I am already posting here for my application. Sad to say not because it requires merit now to rank up. It may be possible but it will take time and dedication to create post worthy of merits. In the end still rewards are a motivation for the forum. It may not be the real agenda in getting here but it will be a good reason to stay here and learn cryprtocurrency at the same time.
578  Other / Beginners & Help / For your ready reference on cryptocurrency exchange! on: September 26, 2020, 10:58:19 AM
I had been able to utilize the forum for compiling topics that I could be used as  a reference in the future and also wanted to share of it to other users especially the newbie wanted to get involve or invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. This is another for your ready reference series and this time is all about cryptocurrency exchanges.

Cryptocurrency exchange plays a vital role to the massive growth of cryptocurrencies around the world to where people can trade cryptocurrencies for other digital currency or traditional currency like US dollars. These exchanges connect buyers and sellers and take a fee from each transaction.

These are a few roles of cryptocurrency exchanges:
1. Receiving cryptocurrency and issuing IOUs
2. Receiving fiat
3. Processing an order book
4. Redeeming IOUs (essentially a token, issued on the blockchain, representing the same value as the underlying asset.)

As a newbie trying to get details on exchanges in my search I learn that there are a few concerning issues regarding current exchanges platform:

1. Fees
Most exchanges charge fees for all kinds of transactions. Fees can differ substantially depending on the exchange you use.

2. Payment Methods
Some exchange has limited payment options which make it not convenient to be used for trading. Purchasing cryptocurrencies with a credit card will always require identity verification and come with a premium price as there is a higher risk of fraud and higher transaction and processing fees. Purchasing cryptocurrency via wire transfer will take significantly longer as it takes time for banks to process.

3. Verification Requirements
This is one of a long and inconvenient process. The vast majority of the cryptocurrency trading platforms both in the US and the UK require some sort of ID verification in order to make deposits & withdrawals.

4. Geographical Restrictions
Some exchanges can only be accessible from certain countries.

But this is not really becoming a problem over time because exchanges now are slowly adapting and making their system user friendly not only in their areas but also expanding to all over the world. Other exchanges are gaining popularity and step up over. And because there are many wanted to invest in cryptocurrency I made my own list of good cryptocurrency exchange. Not really helpful for a user to make a ban appeal. Ban had been reviewed by the MODS and if they decide to ban you that probably means almost  irreversible decision to do. It will just be a lot of work for them Ban a user and then later on lift the ban.

Anyway, as OP expresses it a user could make a ban appeal. Just follow what OP did in his posts but then again as I mention earlier that there lifting ban is almost impossible except if you are as a user contributed a lot i the forum for admin to change their mind in the decision.

You have to try making it here so that we can start. If it has good offer then why not? However, bitcoin faucet nowadays not actually earning due to high btc price not like before that if we have just known that bitcoin faucets held being kept then selling it now would be a great value already after btc made a good market price increase. For now, only few bitcoon faucets had been visible and mostly requires you t accmulate certain amount before you can withdraw and you can also play in their games that earn btc or double your btc if you are lucky.
