861  Other / Meta / Re: All blame to bounty hunters. on: August 24, 2020, 10:08:06 AM
That must be a joke. Right?
Sort of something like a joke. But it is true base on experience since I could not be here if I am not told with my co-worker to try and join in this forum to earn. However, bounty hunting specifically promoting ICO projects is not really worth it for wasting time and resources. I may settle for campaign which pays btc and it is relatively good than receiving shit tokens.

Bounty hunters stay here might be a joke but honestly I admire the bounty hunting works in spreading awareness about cryptocurrency. Whether it is a good or bad publicity, it is still a publicity.

My point is that bounty hunters are somehow at great help promoting projects to which will the end up pairing this coins/tokens to bitcoin. So, bitcoin could not achieve this great without promoting those projects and remember there are thousands of altcoins now successfully launched. This is a help somehow that did not even get the recognition. Anyway this is my opinion and I am sticking to it that the forum without bounty hunter will be less likely not this active or dynamic.

Because of compliance bounty hunters will tend to post because they got paid. If there were no payment then only few will like to post here.

I will accept bad comment to users that are not wearing signatures to get paid. Remove signature for those who will not agree.
862  Other / Meta / All blame to bounty hunters. on: August 24, 2020, 09:31:28 AM
One of the problems encounter before was the shitposting activities. There are many users complaining about this and high rank users had combat about it by encouraging all to report posts to which content has plagiarized.

Now that the rank and merit was introduce shitposting has been reduced and other users left the forum due to difficulties to rank up and getting merit to which bounty hunters will not get qualified to join. The merit system reduces the shitposting activity to its ideal numbers of shit posts per day. We cannot blame other users for doing shitposts because English is not their language to which others are doing the google translation as part of their initiative to make a post in this forum.

I think there is nothing to worry about now with the shitposting activity. In my opinion this users keep the forum active, dynamic and lots of interaction. If we keep them away then the forum will become exclusive to exisiting users that has business with the forum and likely to be peaceful. But I will not going to like it without those users shitposting for they were the reason I enjoy the stay of the forum reading nonsense post and learning from it. For now I consider shitposting as tolerable.

Bounty hunters had played a great role in this forum to continue getting influence of others from friends and relatives to join and get the opportunity to earn as well. not only the that because bounty hunters is the key to cryptocurrency adaptation in the future for influencing others like a ripple effect pass on from them to others. I consider bounty hunters as one of the vital part of the crytpocurrency system as it will be the key to educate people and to adapt the system to their everyday lives. We should be thankful by then and should not blame bounty hunters. However, copy and pasting should still be ban. There should be no room for that here in the forum.

I posted this to get some insights and try to answer the question does really bounty hunters play a big role in the forum?

Respect my opinion please.

863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 24, 2020, 08:29:36 AM
Well I agree with the soft cap of 100Euro per month as socially acceptable spending limit of a certain gambler. But, I guess it is hard for the rich kids to make an adjustments to this because they usually tend to deposit on more than that as they had enough resources or money to enjoy in betting. But, if this will be implemented then many gamblers will be able to benefit with this especially to those who get addicted in playing the casino. Another thing that government should consider the decentralization of the gambling sites because as to what they did it will turn out to be that gambling site will be centealized for beimg under their watch, taxes will follow, licensed and etc. to protect the gamblers.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 24, 2020, 07:55:00 AM
I was excited to switch the TV knowing that there is a game today but since our time herr is different and will probably seeing the next game to watch this play off series will be at early morning tomorrow in our time. Anyway, I was amazed at the game of trail blazers vs. lakers in their game 3. I thought that blazers could make a way to win that game since they were able to tie the score and even make a good turn over from steals from the lakers. Yet, Lebron really is hard to defend where defenders could get a foul. Lebron has advantange in terms of his size and strength.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 24, 2020, 07:45:14 AM
I agree with you kids must be guided accordingly and this is the basic responsibility of the parents and should not be passed on the gambling site. As we all know that these matter is for adult only though some of the gambling sites are doing well like doing KYC to every users but as much as gambling site wanted to earn they allow playing in their site without KYC. Besides, KYC to some gamblers are important because it may be subject to SYTEALING OF IDENTITY when sites database will get hack.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? on: August 24, 2020, 07:24:07 AM
What I hate about it most is that the "cryptocurrency" term is getting damaged by getting particular association towards the words "scam" and "Ponzi schemes," which are nowhere near the truth. Cryptocurrency is a revolutionary technology and it's the bad people who tarnishes its name, not the technology.
Because cryptocurrency was being used as a medium of scamming, ponzi scheme or an fraud activities. This is why I as it is being drag always to these activities whether we like or not cryptocurrency is somehow now being called itself scam when which we know that it is not because we have this forum discussing about the problems and issues and we learned it here that cryptocurrency coule never be scam instead is just a medium of scam taking advantage of thr anonymity of the cryptocurrency feature.

It so sad that many people are doing this negatively to cryprocurrency well in fact the purpose of this system is to do a transaction while remain in anonymous to hide identity for those who do not want to identity to be revealed during the transaction. Well revealing an identity is an optional here in cryptocurrency and one can reveal identity if both parties in a certain transaction wanted to.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 24, 2020, 04:33:04 AM
That is a very huge loss having 100K usd is not really a joke. If there is an agency that could help you this then you can go to the authority and they will forward you to the right agency for this. Have you tried this in your place to reach out the authority? If it does and no progress then you can ask the scammer directly to ask him politely to hand over your money and om exchange you will be giving him out depending on the percentage you wanted to give out to the scammer. But this is rarely going to happen. Scammer will always going for scam for they too are in great needs to support their vices or etc.
868  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: August 23, 2020, 01:27:23 AM
I choses Eth over bitcoin in the poll survey. My opinion is that bitcoin time is done and  I think it is the eth that shoulf be the next in the limelight. This is my prediction but I know that it will be a hard to think that ETH will really be going to dominate. But who knows? it will going to happen? Anyway, bitcoin is the most probable answer to this poll which surely has sought the highest vote in the poll. But I am an eth lover sine from the start I join in cryptocurrency until today.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 23, 2020, 01:22:13 AM
Well clearly hackers have an it before executing of their activity. They have sought already this after receiving the hack bitcoins. Because mixers usually done anonymously then this is a better place for them to hide their identity and so that bitcoin will not be trace after mixing it.

I am not in favor of mixers and also not against them, but I can clearly state that mixers are not responsible for the hacks and so we should stop blaming them for the 'laundering' we are talking here about. It is the hacker, stealer or even one of us who chooses their (mixer's) services to go for, uses them to move our funds in such a way that nobody finds any traces to our money. They are doing their service and if they start revealing people, what is the point of having mixers?
Mixers function is to mix bitcoin from.of that other user to other user. And the mix will sort into one as the combination of btc coming from different users. It is most likely to get easy on sorting bitcoin into one user rather than having several users contributing to it.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Influencers Are Not Helping on: August 23, 2020, 01:14:59 AM
Well yeah but I think it will only be few. Besides we know already about cryptocurrenc whether there will be an influencer or not as long as the interest and the cryptocurrency opportunity is there users will going to keep coming back. The influencers may be influencing bad or good is a publicity. Publicity whether it is good or bad will still be publicity. Cryptocurrenct will continue to grow unless it is not helping but for now, It is valauble espcially in this pandemic where people chose to do online transaction and bitcoin is already an option to do it.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: August 23, 2020, 12:47:05 AM
How hard it would be to solve cases if there will be a criminal database and its cover is the people from all over the world. This is somehow a big job but if all the justice system work together as one in the whole world or just even in their own country to implement then that would be better with no bias in judgement. However, if we were only talking data base of the criminals without putting them to jail then I guess as early as now we have to stop this plan to implement or make this database for crypto criminal. There is no good creating like when it will not be working.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: August 23, 2020, 12:19:23 AM
they won't help if they don't get the profit otherwise crypto should have been legal.
maybe they are still looking for a way to fully or for the most part be able to manage it somehow.
I know that legalizing the crypto economy might help but it will be difficult because it is against their wishes.
Actually government could earn a lot in cryptocurrency but they are afraid.that of this system will.be known in their place other people might consider government to push through with having block chain in their funds. As we all know that most of the politician are corrupt and does not want to get blockchain in their way to do corruption activities. If blockchain will be introduce to the government pretty sure that all transaction will be in public and all things done is subject for scrunltinization and even imprisonment if the government official violates the law specifically it will be a plunder case.
873  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism- reporting after ban & should all posts be purged. on: August 22, 2020, 12:39:20 PM
does permban help the forum? Or does newbie and other low rank users just create another account if they get ban. For them getting ban may be a usual or common thing to happen and they did not learn from it except for those high rank users getting permban.

Those newbie users continue to abuse the use of the forum by messing it with their posts usually promoting links, scam, malware and hacking tools. We know hoe ban works when one gets ban that person himself is ban but due to other means of registering a new account getting back to the forum is possible. So how could this be solve?
874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are free to choose the journey they will go on: August 22, 2020, 12:19:27 PM
Mostly newbie chose the path of being a bounty hunter to earn. Yes, many here wanted to earn and they see the forum as an opportunity for it. But to me, no not anymore because most of the project are scam or usally fails because of the thousands of project being created and introduced to only few investors.

fourpiece,

You post history and your merit history identify you are not a good poster. There are good posters join bounties but you are out one of them. Your posts are one or two lines and mostly not convey any good contributions.

The post above is a good example, you quote all OP that is not needed. Use snip icons or just mention @OP, I will know you want to discuss with my post, not the others in the thread.
LOL, I guess he need to see the thread about the bitcointalk posting etiquette. chec this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184741.msg54993821#msg54993821 created by thrantidung. Newbie may be able to get more of posting habit here. This is one of the best posting guide I have seen in the forum and one can enjoy reading it while learning by doing. Try to follow that guide and everything else will follow and that guy could become a good guy here
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin on: August 22, 2020, 12:10:55 PM
If you are looking at the OP, it's Nitrogen and i'm not very acquainted on the mechanics on betting in their site. I'm using Sportsbet and you can bet any amount you want, of course there is a minimum amount on your bet.
Yeah sportsbet site could go lower than this and you will only be needing to bet on that player you think winning in this match. You can check the site https://sportsbet.io/ but make to verify all site. Anyway , if you get bored on waiting for this upcoming event you can still play in an online gamibling casino. bitvest have something good to offer for thr gambler.

Personally, I won't judge any boxer based on his or her last two fight because that could be inaccurate when pick odds between the fighters. Whyte had a good record and saw what happened to Povetkin last fight(draw), this will definitely going to affect him if care is  not taken. With all the experience between the two fighter, I will bett on Povetkin by sending a wrong signal to Whyte in  his last fight.
Will yeah, but because of the last two fights we can say that he might not be interested to win anymore but just wanted the share of money of that fight. Retiring could be an option because if he will not and continue to be a boxer higher chances that this could make get him injuries due to aging. The strength differs as the boxer goes older.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this considered cheating? or Ilegal? on: August 22, 2020, 12:01:02 PM
In cases like this, you should always let your gut feeling decide for you since it can take too long to notice that something is rigged. You can also take some snapshots or photos of that possible rigged website since they are using an un-hashed server. You can also test other websites Provable Fair algorithm.
Yes photos will be a concrete evidence if you decide to pursue on filing a complain. But make a clarification first to the developer because maybe it was unintentionally done and they can possibly compensate you with your losses especially if it relatively small. But making it legal would be needing an expert to attest your claims about it. So you will going to spend some money for it. How much loss you have made? Next time try to check those good gambling site for this.

You're right, especially when you're used to a particular online gambling casino with a mindset of them not be involved into cheat. I personally don't verify some online gambling casino websites before play because of my trust with them. Although this is wrong because any of these online gambling casinos can turn from their Fairless to be unfair just to game the gamblers. We should always ensure to verify gambling casinos irrespective of our trust with them to save others from getting be cheated like OP.
This is one thing that gambler should be consider. This is a lesson learn for every gambler. One should verify all things needed before joining into a gambling site. Pretty sure this will be a good experience being shared by OP.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2020, 04:53:47 AM
It is not that easy actually and let just encourage them to learn more about cryptocurrency by sharing how they can get an opportunity to earn by trading with bitcoin like the stock market. This is not new since stock market trading is already known from all over the world who are doing stock market exchange trading. Now, with bitcoin it will be easier to earn with high market volatility. But still the user must be aware too the high risk that bitcoin also could bring that could lead to high losses. As we all know that bitcoin haf experience market crash often.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: August 21, 2020, 02:42:13 AM
Well what do you expect from the ICO projects organizer or team? All you can get at first is that the project goes well especially in marketing and even made a fake news just to convince the community that they are doing well in the ICO and everyone who invested will get money fast and easy in investing with them. But of course all of it is not true and it is just a trap for others to fall for it.

However, there are good ICO projects still working well with honest teams. It is just that there are ao many ICO projects and it is so hard to find them.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 21, 2020, 02:32:34 AM
ICO has lost popularity and have disappointed many investors, of course, ICOs will never come back, investors are more satisfied with investments that guarantee their money and IEO are the choices of investors nowadays, so just forget about ICO
ICO will still exist in this market and in recent times the form of fundraising of Defi projects makes me think of 2017. There are indeed a lot of new projects using this method of raising capital and I also feel a bit worried about what's going to happen. Defi may be a trend that people are interested in, but if you do not check it carefully, you will easily lose money in this market.
Yes, and many of ICO are scam. This because many now engage in creationnof tokens and do a project to which budget will be coming from the crowd. However, since this activity is not being regulated so many will be tempted to abuse and instead of implementing the project team or the owner will going to run away with the money. And if you will going to check also with ICO had drop the number of investors due to some.country restricting community to invest in ICO projects but limited to bitcoin and other strong altcoins.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 21, 2020, 02:22:27 AM
It's not everyday that you get tot receive 1 eth to your wallet and there could be a reason since this is no small amount will try to trace the owner and thank him for sending it to me, and if he says he wants it back and was sent by mistake I will just send the half this is to teach him a lesson that he must always check the address and for the time and effort I spent looking for him.
LOL, what if he wanted it to sent to you in full because he will going to use it for medications. Are you still going to send the half of it?

In my case I will negotiate with the one to teach him a lesson to double check first before going into transaction. If he has no good reason for him to get back the eth to him then i will send 80% only and 20% is to teach him a lesson. This I think the better way than having it 50% which is relatively high and  of course due to pandemic we all need finances but this could not be the reason to own money mistakenly sent by you.
