121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] ██ CRYPTOCOPY - PLATFORM - COPY SUCCESSFUL CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTORS ██ on: November 24, 2017, 07:02:47 PM
Just quoting the message posted by developer in bounty thread.
I also want to confirm, that I already received my ETH back. I liked the idea so I hope you come back stronger when the time will be more appropriate.

Dear Bounty Participants,

Unfortunately our ICO has been canceled

Due to the volatile markets and really negative atmosphere around the ICOs in general we decided to stop our ICO and return all funds back to investors.
We have realized that we can not ensure our token-holders the best possible outcome in these circumstances.

We decided to do that at this moment because ETH is reaching its maximum these days and that would be a good time for our investors to have their investment back. We would like to say one big THANK YOU to all of our investors who support us and trusted us in these times.

We will continue to develop CryptoCopy platform and build a community around it. If we find in the near future a good opportunity to organize a new ICO (or Airdrop) we will announce that on our website. In that case, our early investors and bounty participants will have advantage over others who joined at that moment.

We would like again to thank everybody for their interest and support.

Best regards,
The CryptoCopy Team

Hello Manager. please update my rank in the table. Wanted to check whether you need Russian translation of the ANN topic?
CryptoCopy ICO has been cancelled, unfortunately. You can see explanation from developer here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2345810.msg24982717#msg24982717
So bounty campaign is cancelled too, of course.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scanner on: November 23, 2017, 12:38:43 PM
Developer, can you please add information "Start date" to your website so we could see which ICOs are new.
124  Economy / Exchanges / Re: AEX.com exchange - Discussion thread on: November 22, 2017, 06:47:00 PM
After reading your original post I thought you are someone from the AEX exchange company who is promoting it.
But after reading your second post I have known that you have an issue with them and want to know something about.

I think you already know that it is currency exchange board and you have posted in wrong board.
So please move your thread to Exchanges and I think you will get your answers there.
Thread moved. Thanks for advice.
125  Economy / Exchanges / Re: AEX.com exchange - Discussion thread on: November 22, 2017, 06:00:42 PM
Ok, I started this thread because I have a question and maybe some of you who use AEX can help me.
So I registered today, deposited BTC without any problems, Bitcoins were shown on my account in about 20, maybe 30 minutes after I sent them. I bought some ZCoin (XZC) and now I can't withdraw them. When I click Withdraw I get red note "Temporarily Closed". I don't see the reason because on other exchanges, withdrawals and deposits for ZCoin are enabled (for example Bittrex).
I checked some other altcoins and there is the same message with Ripple, Ardor, EarthCoin, Nextcoin and some others. There are no problems with other coins like BTC, ETH, LTC, Bitcoin Cash, WorldCoin...

Do you know, is this really temporary or this message has been showing for more days or weeks?
Do you have any information that they will enable withdrawals and deposits for those coins and when? I want to know especially for ZCoin.

I already asked them on twitter and I opened a support ticket. By the way, I like their ticket system, you see the information how many unanswered tickets are ahead of you in the queue and what is the total number of answered and unanswered tickets. I will post an update here when they answer my ticket.
126  Economy / Exchanges / AEX.com exchange - Discussion thread on: November 22, 2017, 05:37:51 PM

EDIT: I SUGGEST YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXCHANGE. Reasons explained in the discussion.

This is not ANN, it is a discussion thread.

AEX.com is a Chinese cryptocurrency exchange registered in the United Kingdom but they do accept foreign users.

It was lunched on October 19, 2017. Despite the fact that it was lunched recently, it already has decent trading volume. Today's volume is about 4 million USD.
AEX on coinmarketcap.com

Withdrawal fee for all cryptocurrencies is 1%.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴[ANN] NEO CASH - [NEO Fork][New Thread][NEOCOIN CASH]🌟🌟🚀 on: November 21, 2017, 03:22:55 PM
Developers, please explain, is this actual fork or you will create ERC20 token with the same number of coins as NEO has?
In case it is actual fork, why do we need to write our ETH address to the form? How much support do you have among miners, what percentage of current NEO miners will start mining NEO CASH after the fork?
My guess is that NEO CASH is just a token on Ethereum blockchain.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO][ROCK] ⛏Ice Rock Mining ⛏ [HUGE PAYOUTS] ⛏ on: November 20, 2017, 11:41:19 PM
aTriz, please think again about distribution of tokens and try to make it more fair. We were promised much much more tokens for Facebook and Twitter campaign, but I understand that there was misunderstanding so reward will not be 5 tokens per post.
But why did you keep the very high amount for translations? 600 tokens is way too much for a translation. This is worth 600 USD and in May 2018 it will be worth 1800 USD because Ice Rock will be buying tokens back for $3 per token. I strongly believe you should lower the reward for translations. At the moment, translations take a very big part of available tokens and this is not fair. One translator get 600 and average member who shared every post on his personal facebook get around 30 tokens. This is 20-times less!!!
If you don't change anything, translators will get most of the tokens and others will get just few tokens.

People who participated in any bounty, please show support for my suggestion to lower the reward for translations.
I agree with you Lauren. 600 USD or potential 1800 USD if I understand correctly, is waaay too much for a translation. Especially if you consider that developers reduced the amount of tokens reserved for bounty. I know such things happen sometimes when bounty supply is not defined clearly (absolute number of tokens or percentage of sold tokens) but it is not fair that some bounty participants pay the whole price and get only few tokens, while the other group of participants (translators) get more than 100 tokens, let alone 600 tokens.
Bounty manager like you, atriz, should understand this. If I was you, I would reduce reward for translators to 150 tokens in the spreadsheet and then calculate again in such a way that all 9000 tokens gets distributed.
Translators will still get around 4 times more than people who participated in other types of bounty. But 20 times more is not fair.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can bitcoin survive with 26 USD transaction cost? on: November 20, 2017, 06:48:41 PM
I agree that Bitcoin transaction fee is one of most important problems, but the transaction fee is not much now. Now 0.5 mBTC which is equivalent to 4 dollar is enough for a transaction to be confirmed very fast.

but my jaxx wallet tok 26 usd from me

Did you check to see if that was the fee that the miner got, or has jaxx kept some of it?

KingScorpio, ok I see that they actually took 0.004 BTC (26 USD) from you but I am quite sure that this is not just transaction fee but also Jaxx takes some for themselves. We can find this out if you click on that link where it says Transaction ID. It is a long code, similar to bitcoin addresses. Click that and you will see all details about that transaction and you will also see how much was transaction fee, was it really 0.004 or maybe just 0.0015 and Jaxx took 0.0025 or something.
It would be even better if you copy that Transaction ID and post it here so we can see aswell.
Anyway, I think even 0.001 is too much and you need to be lucky to pay as low as that. In some wallets you can manually set how much you want to pay for transaction fee but even if you choose minimum, it will still be around 0.001 BTC and you may need to wait few hours until first confirmation. You can do this in Electrum desktop wallet.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ROI] ROI Coin | CPU Only Solo Mining Hybrid | 8% POS | 600% Term Deposit on: November 20, 2017, 06:51:44 AM
Already 55 pages on this ANN and I just discovered it. I wish I had started mining earlier. Up until now I have been CPU mining Electroneum coin but now I will switch to ROI.
I will probably buy some coins at exchange now that they are cheap. And I will sign a Term Deposit for 6 months.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 19 of 40 🚀 New Rules on: November 19, 2017, 08:21:17 PM
I will remember this Friday forever. It was 18th airdrop in the history of DeepOnion and my first ever! I am glad to say that I received a little over 100 ONIONS which is a decent amount for one week.
Beside this, I received about 13 ONIONS today for my contribution on community forum and I had a really busy week so I didn't have much time. I have to say I expected less so I was pleasantly surprised. Now I am even more motivated to be active on forum and help the project become one of the best stories in crypto history.
I was also thinking about making a little giveaway, so if you have any suggestions about rules and who can participate, I want it to be as fair as possible, write them here or send me a message.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] To ALL ETH Wallets VIU Token Video Platform Airdrop 🚀🚀🚀 on: November 19, 2017, 06:08:55 PM
I checked myetherwallet today and was surprised by two transactions of VIU tokens. Thank you devs! I will not sell now because I read your website and I like your ideas so I think the token is underrated at the moment.
Youtube has big problems, some youtubers are already leaving it because they get less and less money from monetization. Maybe Viuly can become an alternative if video creators will be able to make money from ads.

You people must be really desperate if you join a campaign like this. $20 for 42 posts is $0.48 per post which is really not worth it. You can make about one post per 10 minutes on average, if you want them to be decent quality. Because you need to read original post and some replies and sometimes you need to check some facts before you write a reply. So you make less than $3 per hour which is really bad.

I can guarentee you that most participants will not fulfill the condition of 6 posts per day or they will quit by themselves.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Website with list of ICOs and amount raised so far on: November 17, 2017, 01:59:38 AM
I found it! It is probably the only website that provides data how much money has been raised so far. http://icoscanner.io/

There is also an official thread on bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2330207
136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-15] Bitcoin can be hacked in 2027, Sydney scientists suggest on: November 15, 2017, 07:10:43 PM
I don't quite understand how is a quantum computer any different from any other computer. Of course it is more powerful but that doesn't make it any better for hacking Bitcoin.
Blockchain simply can't be hacked, because what written in the chain, stays in the chain. You can't modify the past blocks. The only way to hack Bitcoin is to get someone's private key which means that you install virus to his computer or you get access some other way. But quantum computer doesn't help you with that.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 18 of 40 🚀 New Rules on: November 15, 2017, 05:39:53 PM
2017 hasn't finished yet, but I'm already looking forward to 2018, especially because of DeepOnion roadmap. Just look at all the events in first quarter of 2018. My favourite is the DeepOnion Vote Central! Many things have already been implemented as suggested by community, when Vote Central goes live, DeepOnion will become the most Democratic and decentralised cryptocurrency ever!

Just wanted to announce as well, that I am finally applying to airdrop today! I have been following DeepOnion for few weeks but I was doing another signature campaign so I wouldn't get any payment if I changed signature before the campaign was finished. It finished past week so I immediately changed signature to DeepOnion and waited a few days, made some posts here and on the official forum and now I can apply. I already bought enough ONIONs so I am already exited for 18th airdrop, my first of many!
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Website with list of ICOs and amount raised so far on: November 15, 2017, 02:57:02 PM
There are many websites with a list of ICOs and you can learn about the project, when does the ICO start, when it finishes, what is the total amount of tokens and so on.
But I couldn't find a website or app that also tells you the amount of money that the ICO raised so far.
I know some ICOs don't tell this information, but some do. And even if they don't have the money counter on the website, one can simply check their ETH address on etherscan.io, right? This information should be publicly available.

So does such website or app exist?
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: November 15, 2017, 02:10:05 PM
Some people do, of course. Personally I bought bitcoins in June when the price was around 2400 USD. I decided to spend about 30% of my "extra money" which is money that I don't necessarily need for everyday spending. I didn't invest fiat currency since then but the main reason is not the price but simply I don't want to have more than 30% of my capital in crypto.

Back to your question, I don't think the price above 6000 USD is a problem, people are still buying because they believe it will go to 10K and more. Most people buy fraction of bitcoin, maybe 1000 USD worth of bitcoin. Although some people that I talked to, actually said that bitcoin is too expensive for them right now so they will not buy it. But these people don't really understand bitcoin or they don't trust anything that is virtual, including crpytocurrencies. Even if I would have talked to them when price was 2000 USD, they would say the same, that it's too expensive and it is a bubble.
So people who learned about blockchain and belive that this is the future of economy, will keep buying, no matter the price.
140  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Sirin Labs Crowdsale on: November 15, 2017, 08:44:58 AM
I like the fact that you are analyzing the market and checking if people are interested before you actually lunch the ICO.
Personally I am interested in your PC, I think it's a really good deal for 799 USD. I'm not willing to pay 999 for a smartphone but I am sure many people are, especially if there is actual hardware wallet similar to Ledger Nano built in.

You're saying that buying the tokens would be like buying the shares of your company but in reality token holders don't really own company and the value of token is not fixed to company.
Maybe you should give investors an option to exchange a certain amount of tokens for smartphone or PC.

One more question, in what phase is development of your smartphone and PC? Do you have just the idea or you already talked to manufacturers?
