Why are people buying numbers of 3070 GPUs when they have get 60mh for less dollars? A good example is 3070 61MH @ 1250-1500$ VS 2x GTX1660 Super 62MH @ 880$, tell me which one will give you ROI faster or is there something I don't get here? I have a 3070 but I don't plan on buying more, their ROI is way longer ( 9 to 12 months)

For me it`s working sommetimes and sommetimes not. Still intresting thing and a thing to pay attention. But....i`m mining kawpow anyways It`s still 1$/day more(using nicehash) Make sure you keep the power limit on 68% anything lower or higher will trigger the LHR effect, this is tested and trusted settings to get the exact LHR unlocked, try this and drop a feedback
|
|
|
Damn it's hard to understand your explanation I think your 3060ti is a LHR version? Download hiveOS and use NBminer 39.0 in hiveOS this will unlock 70% of the non LHR 3060ti capability

Nothing is impossible but don't expect things to happen the easy way, you need to pray for very promising projects to come your way, I remember perfectly that DIA paid jr members 400$ each and Full Member 1000+$ each, another good ones are PYR and SOVRYN, earned up to 4000$ from this two projects

Popular pools like ethermine always have lower payouts probably because they are overcrowded, forget anything about pool lucks if using ethermine unless you have 1GH power on the pool, better to use small pools with less miners, everyone hates Nicehash but it's the only fair one I see around, if miner software says your payout after 24hrs is 2$ you will get that exact amount

Why not just post the cards online? We have Craigslist and ebay for example I'm sure you will sell in just a week, 4GB cards are still been used for mining kawpow algorithm (ravencoin) also there are people still buy HDD for mining chia coins, all these can be sold online

I heard that new AMD 6600 GPUs are damn good for mining is there anyone on here that have get themselves one ? Also can we get them for MSRP price ? If that's possible won't miners start buying those instead of over priced GPUs
I looked at the prices for these video cards in my country, in stores onga were sold for 650-700 dollars and were quickly sold out. I'm not that AMD fanatic to pay that kind of money for a budget video card. At the manufacturer's MSRP, this is a good buy, but video cards are not available in stores. Probably they were bought by miners directly from the factory. AMD priced rx6600 for 379$ msrp. What a price for entry level card 32mhs card for 379$ Comapnies got very greed So you get 1 for 380. it uses 55 watts does 32 mh Lets see some math on that.. 55 x 24 = 1320 watts a day make it 1.4 kwatts or $0.14 to run it. Lets say you can squeeze it into a rig already running. 32 mh at 11.2 cents an mh = $3.58 pre power profit or $3.48 a day. 105 x 3.48 = $383.60 So fully paid in 105 days. If you have 10 cent power and you use viabtc at 11.2 cents an mh It is pretty good price one could argue 299 or less would be better price. But on ebay the 6600 goes at https://www.ebay.com/itm/353621477284? $615. note I do not know who the fuck the seller is but he is a low priced buy it now seller. at 615 it takes 615/3.48= 176 days For double the price that's ROI after 200+ days, still good though but that's long ROI actually I still buy cards at 2x MSRP and I don't care how long they will take to get my ROI back, anything in 200-250 days is good by me, the only thing that doesn't sound right is the market situation, if bear market do comes it's another trouble entirely

I hope CZ won't be discouraged, the reason why binance exchange became a target is because it's the best, also CZ is a crypto lover who wants the best for all investors this will surely makes him an enemy of the government for sure

gtx1660 not very good option for mining. get 1660s or 1660ti
You are damn wrong, I have a rig with only 1660, I will drop the Hashrate I'm getting with each cards 1. Galax 25MH @ 47watt ( Samsung ) 2. Asus 1660 24.67MH @ 60 watt ( Samsung ) 3. Gigabyte 25.6MH @ 54watt (hynix) 4. Zotac 26MH @ 57watt (hynix) 5. MSI 25MH @ 56 watt ( hynix ) Silicon lottery wins on that Galax GPU, really impressive so I'm guessing that maxsun is just a victim of poor silicon lottery lol, I think OP should try hiveOS there are others using this GPU and their settings are available, just try them out one after the other Dude its 2021 year 20-25 mhs not interesting anymore. it was interesting in 2016. To you they aren't interesting anymore, for me it's about the returns as I got this cards at a very cheap price from China, I'm glad I invested money in them and that's 125MH mate, the same hashrate that you can get from a RTX3090, how is this not freaking interesting? And for the fact that I pay less for the GPUs?
|
|
|
The only way to play safe in this crypto space right now when it comes to GPU is to buy them at a very cheap price, in China wholesalers are still selling rx580 for 250-300$ per GPU so you are still going to get the best for your money even if bear market strikes, you can't go around buying 30MH for 500-600$ whereas the market looks uncertainty, try playing safe this is my 2cebt advice
|
|
|
It's better to go with cheap GPU if you can find them, it's not as if you can get your ROI back in a month if you buy high price GPUs so why not wait? Even if bear market comes after a month atleast you get those GPUs at cheaper price so you will still be fine, just think.

Cryptokitties and Axie infinite? They are the top on my list and CITIZEN Finance and Vulcan forged are the next so I recommend checking them out, also these projects are the most profitable for me since 2020 combine, DYOR

a difference of 2 mh/s doesn't sound too bad, should be within margin of error or you got a bad silicon. that being said, a chinese aib is famous for its bad cooling solution and lack of features (slightly less powerful), so the temp doesn't sound that alarming. if you want to buy chinese aibs card, i think you should look at colorful. a lot of reviewers that i know of seems to check them more regularly compared to other vendors' card.
True, colorful GPUs are on par with brands like MSI, Asus and others, I have a colorful rtx3060 that's doing 50+MH on Ethereum mining right now and it's cooling under 56°C I think this is the best brand from China till this day

Guys I'm trying to cool a very hot 🔥🔥 GPU and every effort of reapplying thermal paste seems like a waste, the GPU is still on fire no matter what I do, I even place thermal pads on the vrams just in case and all try another thermal paste from a dead GPU and things turn around instantly, what is the best high quality thermal paste? I don't mind buying and storing them
You don't have to buy many and store them, I hardly change thermal paste on GPUs in a whole year unless you are buying only used graphic cards, with a new GPUs you will have used them for mining at max of two years before even thinking if changing the pads

I heard ethermine is so cruel with fees right now but I don't use ethermine and the pool I'm using is 100% free withdrawal through coinEX, that's the work of ViaBTC pool, another good one is hiveon pool which stays almost zero I guess ( from what others are saying ), I'm on crazy pool today due to high reward but I don't still know how their fee is been handled.

Don't download through links given to through a friend or other channels, if you need the app badly find their official website and let the website direct you to their real app, I've quit using Google Play store on my phone for downloading app

I just want to share my experience on here for people who might be new to crypto mining, I spent hours on trying to find what could be wrong with a motherboard day ago, if you are using a gigabyte motherboard or planning to don't waste time here are what I noticed will be a challenge for you
1. Without changing gen to gen 2 you will have problem
Imagine loading up windows and everything start acting weird once you connect more than on GPU on board, crashes and lagging here and there, the fix is gen 2 activation
2. You using a new model GPU like RTX series? They can start getting abnormally hot for no reason if you use the two pcie 16x slot which was meant for SLI/Crossfire, the fix is still the gen 2 and if you have 3070ti make sure another 3070ti goes into the second SLI/Crossfire slot, don't insert gtx card in one and RTX card in the other
This could sound weird as it was to me buy gen 2 solves my problem, mind you I have other motherboards that are presently mining with none of this issues, this is my first rodeo that's why I decide to share, who knows? Might help someone

|
|
I think the seller is right, rtx3070 uses gddr6x and I believe this will only perform better if you use them in 4th gen and up motherboards, find a newer mobo to give a try and see since youve already open the GPU pack so you can't return again
