Is there any stampduty or other taxes a buyer is required to pay?

Maybe they're about to announce a large run of deliveries, and they're preparing for the consequential deluge of new orders. Then why did they add the clause saying initial shipping is last half of April? 'scheduled' for last half of April

|
Seems the MiniRigs are out of stock ...
My guess.... they technically can't deliver a MiniRig with all the problems they have.... just not feasible

Nothing about power consumption on the site, but they have a new estimated shipping date And all sales are FINAL ! "Pre-order Terms: Bitforce SC (ASIC) products are in final stage development with initial shipping scheduled for the last half of April 2013. Products are shipped according to placement in the order queue, and delivery may take 2 months or more after order. All sales are final"

Hello Burnside, Great exchange in general! The ability to issue own options is unique, too Something I noted about options on BTC-TC PUT #95 169 days, 10 hrs, 53 mins Strike=0.10000000 Premium=0.63000000 This is actually impossible because you can only lose by buying this option. Possible the option writer messed up *Strike* with *Premium*. It shouldn't pass the consistency check. Or it is intentional....

The of course there is merchandise support that some people seem to think doesn't exist ...
That's why we have you ! Make our ASICs hash faster, NOW !

Ive had troubles understanding bitstamps wire transfer details and the SEPA Zone etc. I am in the US. Is it possible for me to depost BTC to bitstamp sell, and then wire the money to my bank in the US? How long will the transfer take? Id like to avoid gox as Ive heard a lot of bad about them and have thought bitstamp would be the best for me since, I can actually see the order book, and they dont seem to have to lag problems like MT GOX. Id appreciate any info. I have an account at bitstamp now.
I did an international wire transfer last friday from bitstamp to a Citibank Usd account in the UK. The wire out was confirmed Monday morning by Bitstamp and hit my Citi account on Wednesday afternoon. Btw I use Chrome and havent had any connectivity problems whatsoever in the last weeks

Clarification of Unsold Shares Now ASICMINER controls 163,962/400,000 of the whole identity, while Bitfountain controls 236,038/400,000.
I was under the impression that 50% of all profits were to be distributed to the investors and the other half to the Bitfountain founders. Now it's become roughly 41% for investors and 59% for BF because you stopped selling shares early. Did the original contract allow for this? What if ASICMINER had been fully funded after only 50k shares were sold instead of after 164k, because of a sudden rise in BTC price? Then we'd have 50k/400k = 12.5% share for investors and 350,000/400,000 = 87.5% share for Bitfountain now? Doesn't look like a fair solution to me. To get back to a 50/50 ratio for investors and founders, as it was originally announced, you'd have to subtract the 36k unallocated shares from the 200k Bitfountain shares instead of adding them. No? It has always been said that 1 share of ASICMINER would get 1/400000 th of the dividends.... And it still does. There are still 200.000 Asicminer shares and 200.000 bitfountain shares.... Only bitfountain now holds 36.038 shares of Asicminer.... Nothing wrong with that

Seeing as there are problems with installing the asics for own mining purposes it makes a lot of sense to start selling mining devices.
With the last Avalon batch being priced really high and seeing that BFL can't seem to get their chips working any time soon there will be a window of opportunity where selling the asics is mor eprofitable than mining with them.... especially if it takes a long time to get any of them hashing any time soon.
My vote would be: sell the 50TH as soon as it comes in.... and be prepared to add hashing power to our own farm when the new chips arrive. Mark up the asics for sale substantially... they will fly out of the door at inflated prices anyway
Win win for everyone
