121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 14, 2019, 09:55:21 AM
Well, this is the worst. My wife is the reason why I stopped gambling my money instead of saving for our future. In the past, I am so addicted to gambling but with her help, I did stop my addiction. I am still gambling but I am not that addicted, I can stop myself. Here's the thing, if you can't stop gambling, just think of the future of your family. You have your loved ones in your responsibility, you should take care of them and if you can't then you are the worst, they don't deserve you. If someone will be asking me how much should be I putting my family, I would say all of it but I would be lying that even some of it will not go to myself since it will be.
All those who have families shall stay away from gambling as much as possible for them or even if they still want to gamble, they shall put time limit or a loss limit and shall not exceed those limits at all. Otherwise there are maximum chances of ending into addiction which is going to affect children and spouses awfully. Your partner instead of leaving you alone in addiction shall help you get over it.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: December 14, 2019, 08:27:19 AM
The truth is that there are no easy solutions for this, a level of taxation is necessary but as demonstrated by the Laffer curve there comes a point in which increasing taxes will not bring greater revenue for the government, but governments are always arguing that they can keep increasing taxes indiscriminately and still get more money to get even bigger, and while many blame the rich it is incorrect to do so, many of those that achieved great wealth began as middle class individuals that just became successful and are generating wealth for themselves as well as goods, services and jobs, so confiscating their wealth may bring some temporal profit to the government but in the long term it will be detrimental to the economy as we see in countries that did this like Venezuela.

I don't know if indiscriminately increasing tax is the best solution but, here in the Philippines, you see our country had a considerable amount of debt from the past, and right now the economy is facing inflation. Now like I said, I don't know if it's the wisest decision to make but the current president is doing everything he can to make the country great again. I also would like to mention that, I think he doesn't want to touch other funds just to pay these debts (unlike what the past presidents did) so maybe this is his alternative.

That aside, people who blame the rich because of their situation are stupid. No one should think that way. Instead, as mentioned, blame the system.
I never support the idea of increasing taxes for paying debts of your country. This is the most stupid and cruel mean of paying off debts. Increasing taxes is not showing the credibility of president. If president is there ruling the whole country it means he has something special that other people lack for ruling the country. he then definitely do something unique to get country out of debts like increasing means of investment, building opportunities for business etc.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: December 14, 2019, 07:51:49 AM

Banks won't be obsolete, they have lots of functions that would complement cryptocurrency. This include lending and servicing of loans etc.
Banks have survived several setbacks, and they are the oldest financial institutions. So when they are ready to join blockchain Technology,  they will come prepare to create a system that will be trusted and to maximize the potential across the platform.

There are also don't agree to crypto and must prepare to use bank by it's reliable and safe money than the information of bitcoin that there has a number of news from hacking.

Bitcoin can't defeat Bank from eliminating but from reducing on it's performing the use of some information, the bitcoin does.

so far, yes, there are no banks that agree with crypto, but they only agree and adopt the technology, such as blockchain. sometimes the bank also has a bug with some lost customer funds.
yes bitcoin will never beat the bank, because the equality of the bank is quite extensive, while bitcoin is still limited.
Banks have been there for centuries and bitcoin is hardly a score old. Even in that short time it has managed to grasp the attention of masses and people have in real shifted their maximum funds into bitcoin in order to have high profits. Bitcoin also performs functions of banks, it keeps your money and give you profits but more than that of banks. Banks are more common because people don’t need internet or advanced technologies to use them not because they are better than bitcoin.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: December 12, 2019, 02:28:00 PM
Yes my main goal is to gamble in order to make more money.
In gambling you can become a millionaire in a short time without having to work hard, just rely on the luck you have to make your dreams come true.

Perhaps, your main goal is the same as the other people, but I suggest you change your goal because, in gambling, you will feel difficult to make money, and you will not have a big chance to make money. It is better to make money from the other way that can give you the possibility to make money. Gambling can make you become a millionaire, but gambling can also make you lose everything you have, so you need to realize your chance, and don't use gambling as a source of making money.
Gambling is not something concrete or guaranteed way of making money. Gambling is highly based on your luck. No house wants to make you rich; they simply need your money. They want you to keep gambling so that they can make money from you. We have countless examples of those who came onto roads because of gambling but I personally never met anyone who became millionaire because of gambling.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 12, 2019, 02:13:39 PM
For me, the fundamental is the speed of the platform, as well as a light and high-quality design in which all the elements are harmoniously combined with each other.
Of course, there should be very good and timely support, because often you can encounter various problems associated with deposits and other things, the user should not worry or spend his time on unnecessary proceedings, the user must play and spend his money.

This is somehow the same as the opinion I have, but for me, I consider animation and sound as what matters the most in an online casino. Why? Because for me the main reason why I play is entertainment, sound and graphics of the game impact the most to the excitement that we could experience while playing a game. In addition, of course the functionality of the casino should be in top to consider.
Online games especially that present kind of casinos virtually shall resemble the features of ground casinos. Ground casinos have music and people enjoy that during gambling. If the virtual casino has exciting graphics along with great collection of music, definitely those who gamble for fun and entertainment would love such online gambling games. I personally gamble for enjoying good graphics.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 12, 2019, 01:56:49 PM
I think it's a very personal question and it depends on each one life's situation. For a single person to spend 30% of his income gambling isn't a big issue, while for a father there are other priorities, that is the family, children needs... In this case 30% seems too much already.
Another situation is a retired person who doesn't have more obligations in life, has a fixed income and needs to fullfil his time with some activities, then gambling is an option and this kind of person can spend a higher % playing without compromising his life quality completely, although it's not advisable.
There is no doubt that those who gamble belong to different strata of life and they have different reasons for gambling. You have presented different scenarios where the percentage of gambling money varies depending upon the responsibilities. A man who has to look after small kids shall not spend much time and money in gambling because if he loses the bet, he is not the only one who will suffer.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 12, 2019, 01:39:33 PM
Entertainment, big score and the excitement.
That is all that I want.
I think entertainment and excitement are somewhat connected to each other Cheesy.

Anyway, I agree with you and we are the same. I'm only gambling because I want to have more excitement when I'm watching sports since I'm only betting on sports events. I don't care about the big score or profits as long as I'm happy with what I'm doing Smiley.
If you are sampling gambling for excitement and to enjoy game with thrills then I guess gambling is not bringing any serious problems for you. Sports betting I personally consider as the safest form of gambling because here all is not based on luck. You definitely utilize your sports’ knowledge for choosing right tam to bet on and often people end up in making great money.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 12, 2019, 01:23:16 PM
I started trading because I got inspired from the earnings of my brother. He is a good trader and he is earning at least 20% per month by just trading altcoins in the market and I got curious on how is he doing it and I asked him to teach me how to trade and that is when I started my journey from being a dumb newbie to an educated newbie.
You are lucky to have someone to guide you about trading that too free of cost otherwise it has become a business for expert traders to sell off their tricks and techniques. 20% and that too with altcoins is a great achievement. I am pretty sure that you too are doing well in trading and are not committing silly mistakes. But I will suggest you sharing your knowledge with struggling newbies as well.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: December 10, 2019, 05:49:38 PM
I think this forum is the best place to learn Bitcoin trading. There are many sites in this forum where you can learn good trading later and know how to invest. You can also get a good idea about trading by watching videos of different books. Various places should be practiced and researched before learning to trade.
The best way to learn trading is by using this forum as there will be allot of profit but if you buy at right time. We can read some related posts about trading from this forum. We also should watch videos about it and read stories people use to share with us. Make long time discussions with expert traders they will share experience with us.

People be serious, if you wish to learn about trading you need to be active on many places, this forum is just one of them. As a trader you will need informations, infromations about specific people (whales) and where they hang out and what they wrote, you need to follow some traders that share their trades and insights, you need to be active here on forum, as well on other forum and social networks, you need to know what masses are thinking. When you check all that, compare informations you got from all sides and make your move on exchange, the place where everything is happening in the end.
Of course, we should be active and observe information from many places, instead of just looking at this forum, although this forum is a large information site but sometimes it is also a weakness when many whales can find their prey here by misleading information. And the knowledge about learning to trade here is also relatively thin, the forum only provides in-depth knowledge and opinions of people, it does not belong to the knowledge to learn, it is just for reference, so we need to learn from other traders in our area, their knowledge is more valuable
This platform offers you general information about what is going on in the market and what trends are followed by different coins. For deep knowledge, you are supposed to read from authentic websites and watch videos of successful traders who share their knowledge on YouTube. But yeah, if you want to take advice from people about coin, bot, wallets etc along with some technical knowledge, this platform is great.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: December 10, 2019, 05:35:35 PM

GREED- It is always best to sell at the highest price and buy at the lowest. But that is very hard to achieve. So stick to your TA or target selling price and be contented with your profit. Greedy people would always adjust their sell order price when they see the green candles continuously rising. Their ask price gets higher and higher until it is not filled anymore. The price then begins to go down low. The greedy person waits for it to rise back to take back the lost potential profit. And you know how this will end. The lost potential profit balloons until no profit is to be taken. In trying to gain every cent or sat, nothing is gained at all. This is also true to setting buy order.

FEAR- Never sell or buy out of fear. A lot of fearful people buy during the bull run, fearing of missing out or FOMO. What usually happens is that the price will correct or retrace after a bull run. Here comes the fearful, just got FOMOed, fearing again of losing big or even thinking his coin is going to die. The ending is obvious. While he tries to be positive and wait for a little while, he is already shaking. He ends up deciding to sell at a much lower price, losing big. And by the time the correction is through and another long green is about to take place, he gets FOMOed again. This is going to become a cycle until enlightenment comes.  Grin

CONFIDENCE- Too much confidence will definitely kill you. We have to remember that despite our brilliance in analyzing charts, the prices of cryptocurrencies remain highly unpredictable. Sometimes, or perhaps oftentimes, even expert traders differ greatly in their Technical Analyses (TA). Moreover, even if we have a good source of still-to-be-released news, we cannot fully expect that the prices will always follow. FUDs may not cause a red. Good news may not result in green either.

Admittedly, I am also struggling. But I guess we really need to control them. What do you think?

Being greedy can cause us great losses, Because we seek greater profits that sometimes are not right. It is best to set a target price to secure our profit.

Fear will prevent us if we know what is really going on if it is a FUD made of whales so that we can sell the coins we hold at a cheap price to prevent further losses. And of course the knowledge of coins we hold first should pay attention before buying.

The too much self-confidence, Which should also have a limitation because our overconfidence causes us to get more losses than profit.
There is nothing wrong with holding a desire to have huge money as long as this is fulfilled by right means. People can become rich in many ways but only those get respect and peace who pull this without ever hurting others. In my opinion, the better word would be compete instead of greed. Greed leaves a bad impression. In order to succeed, a person must have a the sense of competition for better.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 10, 2019, 05:15:26 PM
I have seen many reviews about the current new altcoins. Most of them are marked as worse coins with cheap prices, while the rest coins are indicated as scams or shit-coins. I rarely saw people stated that new altcoins are worth for investment or trading nowadays. However, new altcoins are always born from ICO, STO or IEO every month.

So, my questions are
1. Why there are still investors in the new altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?
2. Who are those developers that always create new altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?

*Warning: Sorry if these questions are ever made by someone!! I never copied or got an idea from others. This is my own opinion.
You should check the success history of campaign in this year 2019. If you know that most of the new project just ended up with failure, why are you here. You know some project are very good and investor are looking for this type of project. Old coin couldn't survive for long time in top coin. I believe in new projects because new technology is needed for cryptocurrency.
Most of the new coins are not good in producing profits at all and the main reason behind it is scams. But that is a different topic. Coming towards new technology, old coins use the blockchain technology that is actually copied by many new altcoins. This is the fact that most of the projects use ethereum blockchain which shows how good  it is and this project keeps on improving with time. Old is gold.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: December 10, 2019, 04:59:08 PM
Though, the problem is the addiction. If you play and you lose, then stop, if you play and you win, then stop as well. That principle is what we can consider to save your money at the same time, could help you be disciplined.
I like this principle and I hope all gamblers are like this. You should know when to stop and should have a limitation. Gambling addictions are the worst part of your life if you have this. The fact that there are gamblers who are very greedy and they don't stop unless they can't cover their losses but instead of chasing money, it will end up losing everything. Because as what I have noticed, the more you stay on gambling site the more of chances that you probably lose.
The more one stays on gambling sites, the more false opportunities he sees for making money in short time and all those opportunities are simply temptations. They are there to make him play more and lose more money to the owners. As you said, gambling shall be played only when you want to kill your time or enjoy the game. It shall never be played with intentions of making money because easily earn money goes easily.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: December 09, 2019, 04:16:12 PM
Thanks for the very rich post and detail analysis about ICO and IEO in my opinion now either it is ICO or IEO the investors only take part in a project which is already stable or supported by another big project. and all other projects never get the support or interest by investors due to large number of scam projects from in IEO and ICO.
ICOs are no more the part of game. They have become the major way for scammers to fool people. With IEOs, things get a bit better when these projects are listed by famous exchanges. Still, there are chances of failure but these don't have scam issue. The safest and most beneficial coins are the one that have been here since the beginning and which actually laid foundation of crypto currency world so naturally they become the first choice.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: December 09, 2019, 03:37:45 PM
Yes of course waiting for the altcoin season we have to wait for a fairly long time, because the movement of altcoin is very slow this year, everyone needs an extra process so that the altcoin season occurs, seeing from the price movement soon the altcoin season will soon arrive in the near future
I am waiting for the altcoin season to be able to make a good profit from this market because currently this is the only way to make me richer when participating. In fact, a lot of cheap coins are available in this market and this is an opportunity not to be missed when investing. Of course, you also need to do some research before making a decision because the current market is still very volatile.
Then you must keep an eye on bitcoin because the prices of all altcoins depend on bitcoin. You might come across few altcoins that at some point show opposite behavior than bitcoin but eventually depend on it for all sorts of fluctuations. Once bitcoin will start gaining value, that it is about too soon, all the altcoins are going to do the same. So good days are coming and now is the time to participate more by investing more in good coins.
The major reason behind the current situation of altcoins is bitcoin. This is the biggest fact of digital coin market that all the coins eventually depend on bitcoin for their future. Now that bitcoin is taking rest and waiting for halving, altcoins can’t do much on their own and as you said, for achieving big, sacrifice big. Right now, investors should totally concentrate on increasing their amount.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 09, 2019, 03:06:29 PM
The truth is that most times we have seen bounty hunters dumped but that is not to say that we don't have good bounty hunters that are ready to hodl. you cannot realy blame the team at times but then bounty hunters deserve their payment.
bounty hunters just must get their rewards, because they do a lot for projects at an early stage of development. without bounty hunters, it will be very difficult for the new projects to make some marketing
That is so on mark. it is due to the efforts of bounty hunters that a project finally starts appearing on the screens. With the present number of projects, it is very difficult for new ones to make any room for themselves but with the help of bounty hunters, the burden from marketing team of project shifts towards these participants who then give their best to make the coin an article that can be trusted by investors.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Icos facts on: December 09, 2019, 02:40:35 PM
as you say. very difficult to detect ICO with a good future. some good ICOs don't even appear in the media. then, how to detect ICO scam. ? You should choose a good ICO for the future. if it's just an ICO scam, that's a lot. but the best ICO is very difficult. as I experienced, is KLAYTN ... I have never seen this, but they appear only with airdrops and it turns out they are a big project from the Korean Kakaotalk company. there is currently no guarantee that ICO or IEO has a good future.
ICOs are past. They don't exist anymore or you can say that good ICOs are no more available. It was before the pump of 2017 that ICOs really worked because then projects at that time were not scams. The biggest problem with today’s market is scams. Otherwise, people would have still trusted such stuff. According to one survey, almost eighty percent of the market is just frauds and failures.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 09, 2019, 02:08:23 PM
KYC is really one of  the worse things that hit btc, even localbitcoin has made it seriously mandatory without KYC you can't trade, almost all the platforms now, P2P or not. Taxation now depends on where you live some places in Europe take 40% that is when the govt really comes out to get you, i know from experience, some EU states will paint it good for you to come in only or them to rip you off when you start getting stable, i just think that this is just the govt scheme to oppress the weak to abandon crypto.
KYC is indeed troubling traders but let’s just hope for the best and definitely things will get settled with time. With taxation, no matter where a person lives, the problem remains the same. Not all the countries of the world corrupted but with non-corrupted governments, the tax rates are very high. Moreover, if we look at the main agenda of this technique, then it is just people spending money for   having services. So nothing is blessing on the end of authorities.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: December 08, 2019, 05:44:41 PM
I believe that the legal regulation of cryptocurrencies is necessary. It is necessary to protect every investor who invests in cryptocurrencies. And also to open free circulation of cryptocurrencies in various sectors of the economy. This requires regulation. This will give the development of cryptocurrency in many countries of the world.
What is the point of having decentralization and anonymity if at the end we will have to regulate these coins? Bitcoin is cherished by most tech guys due to its decentralized and free nature. No one can control it or peek at amounts of holders. This is what distinguishes a good currency and asset from a poor one. No one on the digital coin market is willing to give up on his privacy and freedom of control over money. Bitcoin has already touched a huge market cap without regulation.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: December 08, 2019, 05:18:02 PM
However, I believe good project with strong team still live here and their will manage well for everyone investors. Actually before year 2017 best surprise history for more successful project but investors take lossing their money of this year 2018-2019. Two more years have lot of scam project with fake team for the reason crypto investors decrease. But i hope next upcoming year we will receive good project.
hopefully 2020 will be better, but now with IEO makes it easy for investors to choose clear projects, that's where the progress is,
we can choose IEO that is implemented in Binance or Bittrex, but in Bittrex IEO is not always there so it's great if you follow it
Actually, as long as it's listed in a registered exchange, even though it's not the top one or top two then it's completely fine. A lot of traders have different biases when it comes to selecting which exchanges suit for them. On the other hand, partnering with various exchanges for IEO projects can certainly give more chanes to be successful.
When project listed with big exchange market and have big volume transaction I think become good coin for holding in long term, just fake coin not good investment for long term because they not try to listed with good exchange market and keep make their coin assets with lower price, maybe when many developer keep getting trusted from investor always have new way how to make their coin keep exist with higher price.
Trustworthy and renowned exchanges will never ever put on a scam project in their lists and whatever coin or token makes it through big exchanges, it could be considered to give a try. But here the main point is how much this act is going to benefit the holder. Trying a new coin is encouraged. However, if the investor first buys bitcoin or ethereum, then testing new coins becomes harmless.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 08, 2019, 04:48:20 PM
When it comes to gambling people have different treatment on how to deal with this if they decided to gamble. Some are playing for fun but others are also serious to grow their money despite of the fact that there's no assurane at all.

Its easy to said than done and we cant force anyone to gamble for entertainment, its their own will to take the risk of losing the money just to earn or be wise to gamble just for fun.

Yes, gambling could be done for both reasons. Some people never seek money. They only gamble because they are interested in various forms of it or they find it most suitable for spending their leisure time. On the other hand, some try to earn more money via gambling along with their salaries. It is not possible to figure out any definite reasons behind gambling. They are situational depending upon the person who is into it.
