121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBOD: Non-custodial, Zero-Fee Crypto Derivatives Exchange on: February 08, 2020, 02:04:46 PM
I guess they are focused on their telegram channel. Because all the latest news you can find only there, but not here and (what is strange) on their webpage.

Out of the three media i.e. this forum, the website and Telegram, only Telegram allows complete control over the narrative and its record.
I find this to be a common phenomenon, where admin that find difficulty managing shortcomings in the actual project resort to managing the record of those shortcomings in the media.

122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBOD: Non-custodial, Zero-Fee Crypto Derivatives Exchange on: February 08, 2020, 01:09:00 PM

Now i am not able to access the BBOD another thread which they made. This link is not working,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218099.msg53620232#msg53620232 which was mentioned by the BBOD Official account.
Anyone knows the URL of the new thread ?

That new thread no longer exists, and the BBOD Official account has been scrubbed clean, whether by the mods or BBOD themselves, is unclear.
Also, the Haldor account which started this thread has been inactive for two months, and the latter responding account kojektea appears to also have lost interest.
All in all, BBOD's approach on this forum has been very poor and uninspiring for investor confidence.

Does this thing have any relation to CUSD stablecoin, or have you just copied their name?

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLUB] ClubCoin Swap - Release date to be announced shortly!! on: February 07, 2020, 11:29:00 PM
I hope you will write somewhere positive about our plans to swap coin.

I see only a professed intention, no plans.

Quote
Our goal is to create a new coin and support the victims of bitclub network..... we plan to create a new clubcoin version and it's to be like a platform with own club chains and launch a new fast chain with great features and modern UI.

"support the victims" implies the creation of a positive financial opportunity: you seem to think that that is an achievable goal in 2020's changed environment.
I am not so sure: apart from the negative association that the Clubcoin brand carries, there are "fast chains, great features and modern UI's" everywhere, and going nowhere valuewise.
Also you must know that the vast majority of Clubcoins were distributed to BitClub members who had no knowledge of or interest in cryptocurrency per se: they saw it solely as a fiat opportunity, and the last thing they want to be reminded of is being scammed, the experience scarring them against further crypto involvment permanently.
And thirdly, not that I am accusing you, it is not unknown for "rescue" reboots of scams to turn out to be scams themselves.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLUB] ClubCoin Swap - Release date to be announced shortly!! on: February 07, 2020, 08:01:46 PM
Do you live under a rock?

Hello mister,  you are Legendary but not smart. We are not affiliated the bitclub network or clubcoin.co  and never met the creators. We are want to create our own coin and help bitclub victims to create a supported currency as we ourselves are a victim of the bitclub.

Just what the world needs.
I was smart enough to tell you years ago that the people behind Clubcoin were scammers and liars, and that it would end in tears.
How smart does that make you?
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLUB] ClubCoin Swap - Release date to be announced shortly!! on: February 07, 2020, 06:21:53 PM

129  Economy / Reputation / Re: ARC Iris Hydrogen- Suspicous Cloud mining project on: February 06, 2020, 01:13:59 AM
tl;dr:
Using bumping services
Cloud mining
Including scammers and  shady characters in their team
Crazy high bonuses that will probably cause massive dump

My question is, are all these things enough to tag projects like this, or there is not enough proof here that something dodgy is going on here?

Personally, I feel like tagging them just for writing this shit (and for "partnering" with P2PB2B)

Quote from: website
Our system focuses on the synergy effects of solar power and the recently rediscovered energy sources, hydrogen. Almost unrestricted access to these primary energy sources is a guarantee of success for our mining technology.

My minor contribution to trashing this crap is the observation that, despite using a London virtual office to register a limited company*, their T&C's stipulate that any disputes

Well, I know the UK's just Brexited and stuff, but I thought referring to them as the martial islands was a bit strong.
But they corrected the spelling

When I have doubts about projects I tend to share them on their actual thread, so I suggest you crosspost your findings onto their [ANN] so there is a reality check for any "real" members who be tempted by this nonsense and its shill posts.
You never know, they might even respond to your points, it's always fun when they do.
Good find.

THE MERCATOX CONNECTION

Mercatox is an exchange that been around for about three years and has, shall we say, a chequered history (search time) but is still going. It's always been referred to as a "UK exchange" for no other reason that I can find than their Uk company registration.
More of that further down.

The ARC Iris UK limited company I referred to above* is ATB INVEST LTD, the director of which is Ronald RODRIGUEZ LEON, listed as Costa Rican (and his LM Management SA company).
Ronald RODRIGUEZ LEON is "active" in UK company registrations, he's been a director of 30 different ones since 2015. A perfectly natural occupation for a Costa Rican, cómo no?
One of his thirty companies was renamed only yesterday, to the catchy title of 10463744 LTD (thus copying its registration number.  Huh  I've been doing this for years, first time I've seen that).
They also changed their address and Sr. Leon resigned as director.
They also backdated his resignation (yes scammers of the world, you can do that sort of shit with UK company registrations) to last year.
The company used to be called MERCATOX LIMITED....

I'd just ignore everybody if I was you.

An MLM scam and a ponzi, the exchange is only one of their bullshit revenue claims.
133  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Boltrecovery.com scam on: February 02, 2020, 11:22:06 PM

I will give it a more thorough look tomorrow. This might be a new trend to scam people who are new to crypto. There's probably more domains connected.

It is very much a thing this secondary "recovery" scamming, started in binary options and is now more and more common in a crypto context. Quora's full of this shit.
I profiled a bunch of them here.

134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Boltrecovery.com scam on: February 02, 2020, 09:26:43 PM
these guys are operating from a legit looking website

"Legit looking?"
Full of broken English and grammar errors, a domestic address in Kentucky as an office, with a Bronx telephone number?

we can fix it!

Cryptocurrency, for example, Bitcoin or Ethereum have picked up a great deal of consideration nowadays. As the time passes by, the universe of digital forms of money is quickly developing and today we have a great many crypto coins around the world. Individuals spend tons of cash for purchasing cryptographic forms of money on the grounds that there is a great deal of potential for some digital currency to develop and to compensate its members.

I don't wish to sound mean, but you should just stop now. Stick with cash, and don't talk to strangers.

Leave negative ratings if you actively think that trading with the person is less safe than with a random person.

This initially seems to be only applicable to P2P trading, but the Alice codicil and the later "sane" use proviso extend that to wider acceptable scenarios.
I'm interested because I don't P2P trade here, but I have -till now- left negative trust for members who promote or enable schemes which I actively consider to be scams (defined as such according to my own reasoning), because I believe that is a constructive way to help trust readers make an informed decision about whether to trade with/invest in the subject.

I had to check to make sure TOAA didn't post in this thread, and he didn't.  I'm really wondering if he's going to keep to his word that he's done with this forum.  It's been a nice respite so far, but who knows.

Damn you... just had to jinx it, didn't you...

That's a crap text spinner he's using.
138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITCLUB NETWORK: THE MAIN SCAMMERS BUSTED! Who's next? WELL HELLO, CSW... on: January 29, 2020, 09:48:02 PM

Is there any funds recovery program running now?

The only legal action currently taking place is for specific crimes committed by specific individuals. So, no.

Quote
If not- could anybody recommend one fund recovery office? Id like to make claim on my invested BTC in bitclub.

Be very careful there. Many stage 2 scammers will crawl out of the woodwork, offering all sorts.
If you joined thru a referral, I suggest going after your upline.

139  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TrustUSD - misleading and full of fake coomments on: January 29, 2020, 08:51:17 PM

I haven't checked the rest of the WP, reportedly there are more copy/pasted content from other sources. I think there is no need to give more evidence, above is more than enough.

Indeed.
Apparently Kalen Dangerfield (the CEO of the non existent United Trust co, "the American made and regulated, fully transparent and registered to the US government company" that operates TrustUSD) has run off with the proceeds of his nice little Pump and Dump is taking extended time out from communicating with his sect-like Telegram followers, in order to write a 'Brand New White Paper'.
Maybe he's bought some text spinner software.
