Doesn’t look like the extra hash rate is helping in finding some blocks Sad Sad

Remember when it took ~4 days to hit 200%??? I do, and I see an improvement there from the extra HashPower.

Wow, 95 confirms in 11 hours.  Tomorrow's difficulty change is going to suck.

It is what it is: Difficult. I believe we are currently "teetering" at that point where some people are going to throw in the towel. Especially with the price staying below 10k, the FOMO's of December, and people using outdated equipment, are feeling some pressure. I can almost hear the screeching sound of angry Wives and Girlfriends!!! Ha!!!

I had a advertise in Marketplace about selling the coupons. And one guy PM me and tell me that he gonna buy all, but I'm a Newbie and I have to send coupons first. So I send a coupon, he sad thank you and never send me a payment. What I can do?
This is not fair. Who sad that a Newbie is not trustworthy?
Who can help me? thank you. Or is better that I forget everything? Until when I gonna be a Newbie?

What you can do is, post the PM conversation in YOUR post in the marketplace. Make it "public knowledge" that the person never paid you, by posting in the same thread YOU started in the marketplace. Then, go to the person's profile, and leave
 NEGATIVE TRUST
. Explain they never paid you, in the comment section on their Trust page. If they want the mark removed, they will have to pay you.

As far as being a newbie, you have to "rank up" with activity and merit points:

Is everyone holding as I am doing for more than 6 months which effectively means more fiat going into BTC.

Personally, My intentions at this moment, are to use my profits to retrieve more equipment to increase my hashrate. After I reach an amount I'm content with, I will hold and watch prices.

I am not acquiring more equipment, not selling any BTC. Electricity paid by fiat. Just wondering how much BTC to hold.
 Huh

I suppose it depends on how much you're paying for electricity to get the BTC. If you're paying more fiat, than what you're getting back in BTC, it would be cheaper to buy the BTC outright. If you're gaining BTC and not exchanging to pay for the electric bill,  hold your BTC until the price goes up. At that point it's up to the individual, at what price range they want to sell. Everyone has a different situation, as we all pay different prices for electricity, and some people are on a long term plan. (Years not Months)

We've also had a bunch of established members adding more hashrate too. So, although the user count appears lower, the hashrate will increase.

I was never sure if the user count was active user or active devices?  I guess it has to be active users.

I asked awhile ago for promotional info:

OK. 841s drain less watts, 100W less but here in EU one 841 its 1.734 EUR with power supply and controller and S9 is 974 USD or 830 EUR. 841 is 900 EUR more that S9. So you can buy 2 S9 for one 841 in EU.
https://www.cryptouniverse.at/shop/avalonminer-841-13th-s-including-psu-and-controller/
What is better 13,5 TH/s draining 1200W or for same money 28 TH/s 2600W. I don't know its for 100W worth it!?? Please give me better argument!! Undecided
Thank you.

So for 280 TH if I buy 20 s9i with psu I will pay using my coupons 17990 usd, for the same amount of Th I need to buy 21 avalon 841 which will cost me 27520 including psu and 2 controllers,so even if I have 30% failure with the antminers, the price per TH is better from bitmain than from canaan.

In these situations, I'd say, get your money's worth. Honestly, for me, the 841 is cheaper than the S9--after shipping. We have a really Great Canaan distributor here in the U.S.= Blokforge. Also, with June being the month of Bitmain's coupons expiring, you may see another price drop. Canaan lowered prices a couple of weeks ago too, so we MAY be seeing some new equipment being announced soon. That's just speculation, but it seems to fit the timeline of events pretty well.

I think you're both doing great, by staying ahead of the Difficulty. Thanx for contributing to Kano's Pool!!! Goodluck!!!

Shazam,
why do you prefer 841 over S9?

Reliability. The 841's are also a little more versatile, as far as, adjusting the frequency. You can get a bit more performance/efficiency.  They are backed by a 2yr warranty, and if need be, replacing any parts is super easy. Plus Canaan supports Bitcoin and our Community. Great company. They've offered me a tour of their facility, and if I had the money to fly there, I would!!! Ha!!!

When I began promoting Kano Pool, back in February during the block of death, we were at about ~45PH/s. Needless to say, we've come ALONG way in a short time...
I know you didn't post that for a pat on the back, but we appreciate the hard work you've put into the promoting. Thanks, Shazam!!!

Hahahaha!!! Nope, that's not what I was aiming at!!! I appreciate the thank you's!!! My point is, WE as a whole group, can achieve more together. Everyone who has a banner on the forum, is setting an example. Sure, it's just a simple little object, but thousands of people visit this forum hourly. Just putting the name Kano, in someone's mind, causes familiarity. When they see it somewhere else, it causes their mind to remember where, and why, they saw it before. When this happens, it makes people want to research Kano's Pool.

Cause+Effect=Mission Accomplished.

Imagine, how far WE could have this effect on other platforms. As Bitcoin becomes more popular, more and more people, are looking for information about every aspect of it. WE need to "corner the market" so to say. Even if people are not miners, they can suggest what they've seen, to those who are miners, or possibly publish something positive about Kano's Pool. As we all know, in the world of Bitcoin, people can be somewhat boastful about what they know. They want everyone to know, that they know, and that can be a useful tool for promotion.

As I've said before, WE are the best promoting tools, for Kano's Pool.

When I began promoting Kano Pool, back in February during the block of death, we were at about ~45PH/s. Needless to say, we've come ALONG way in a short time.

My goal is to keep ahead of the Difficulty, and achieve more frequent Rewards. Yes, the Rewards are a bit smaller. However, if we just stayed stagnant, the Difficulty would eventually cause the same thing, and the Rewards would be less frequent.

Whether or not I consider this a hobby, profitability is the end game. I would love to, and have been, adding to my hashrate. I'm currently in the process of getting another 841 for my collection. The key factor for being Profitable, for me, at this point is: Promoting and Recruiting more hashrate to the pool.

When I go to my job, I take the necessary equipment, for the task at hand. Here, our necessary equipment is HashPower. So, I have MY hashrate, but I'm looking for others to contribute to the overall. We can just fool ourselves and say, promoting is not my problem, but indeed it is. If we build it.....they will come!!!

Unless you can provide an official statement that it's required for a locked account to do that then I will remain skeptical.

The account was last active yesterday because that's the last time I read the ban message.

I'm trying to help you, as I have a dozen or so people in this same situation. I don't have to provide anything. Be skeptical. I'm done. Goodluck!!!

The thread you linked to is for people that can't reset their password via the email address associated with their forum account. I could do that if I needed to because I do still have access to the email address associated with my forum account. However, I don't need to reset my password. I know my password.

Look. I completely understand how confusing, and frustrating this situation is. I know because I had to do the same EXACT thing. I still had my password too. Thousands of accounts got locked. They were locked to protect users from getting their accounts Hacked/Stolen, from the database PASSWORD leak. This thread is a result from the leak:

Tomatocage's stake thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0

Now, take a look through the Meta section. Ignore the spammy merit posts, and you'll see, dozens of posts regarding Hacked or Stolen accounts. People STEAL accounts here, for the sake of making money, and it's a Cancer in this forum. It happens everyday.

In order to get ANY admin or mods to help you, proof of ownership is going to be required. Regardless of the fact, that your account wasn't hacked or stolen.

Edit: Also, that account was last active: May 27, 2018, 09:56:19 PM. Which was YESTERDAY.

Here is the last post of an address:
