Big jump to 66 PH/S!!! Nice!!!
That was me joining the club with 26TH. Brought 2 machines over to test the water for awhile. Not sure how to read the numbers yet or what all this ramp up business is about, but I'm sure i'll figure it out reading back through the 1800+ pages on here It took me about 2 weeks to ramp up. Your TH/s and their rewards will be increased slowly during that time, and when you get to your full TH/s, your rewards will reflect that. There is also a ramp down, if you decide to go elsewhere. For the amount of time it takes to go up, you will receive that amount of time, and if blocks are found, rewards, after leaving. Edit: I consider the ramp, like banked time as well. If my miners go down for a few hours, I don't lose my shares in the pool.

May I ask a semi-offtopic question, please? The community here is so friendly and experienced, therefore I would like to ask for an advice. I do understand the concern about the monopoly of Bitmain in mining HW (and the use of affiliated pools by the majority of their devices). But I'm also curious if there are other reasons to prefer "alternative" (Ebang, Canaan, ...) products? The "other reasons" to prefer other hardware manufacturers, is not just about the Hardware they make. Bitmain, can make great hardware, but they are mainly focused on themselves. Their support, of their customers and longevity of hardware is by far lacking. Bitmain's main offense, and the reason other Manufacturers are in the spotlight, is their lack of concern with Bitcoin itself. A good hardware Manufacturer, is going to want Bitcoin's future to be long, and prosperous. Bitmain is the poster boy of Anti-Bitcoin.

Please do not laugh very much, and I apologize for my Google-English)))) Hi Nick, I believe you could probably from asia... im from asia too, you can connect your S9 and point it to the japan node. Im new to this type of forum thus i dont know how to post images, image should be good for the non-english speaker i suppose, but i try my best to show you. Welcome all! Chauski, thanx for helping out. Unfortunately, the forum does not let "newbies" post images. You can post images when you they make you a Jr. Member. Thank You for following my posts on Twitter! Maybe, I will try translating them into other languages, as it might reach a BIGGER audience.

3. Regarding pools, undecided what we'll do regarding default pools. It may reduce support questions if we preconfigure initially. Right now focus is on shipping. Firmware defaults can be tweaked later. Open to suggestions on how to handle this. Miners in warehouse are configured for Slush at the moment.
Halong's goal is to improve decentralization, by increasing manufacturer diversity, not killing competitors. We are a threat to status quo for sure, but replacing one monopoly with another, would be a total failure and BAD for Bitcoin. https://t.co/tbtJ0UnSsAUltimately, a custom setting would be best, so users can choose for themselves. However, looking at that Twitter post, it appears that Halongmining wants to do the opposite of Bitmain's business plan. They have concerns about decentralization, and the health of Bitcoin. If this is a true goal, maybe they should consider -ck's Pool and Kano's Pool before Slush. Both of their pools are geared in the direction Halongmining is talking about. These guys have put in some MAJOR time with the Bitcoin community, and still do, while Slush seems to be more concerned about Hardware wallets, and probably just gets reports of the pool from a Corporate Committee. A committee, that shows no concern for the health of Bitcoin, as mining empty blocks is probably a waste. Don't get me wrong, SLUSH, put in time and effort, but his pool, and hell his legendary account here, are no longer run by him. Considering the option to add pools, run by people who are STILL working towards the future of Bitcoin, might be a good move.

BTCamm!!! Nice way to start my workday!!!

Honestly, almost any other pool is better than antpoo. Kano, Slush....all better choices.
And why is that? Because, AntPool doesn't pay you, your FULL rewards. Sure, they might reward you everyday, or close to that, but they will reward you LESS. AND, if they don't fool you there, they'll get your money from another pool they run under a different name, or another pool they "influence".

A sub panel will probably be your best, cheapest bet. You can price everything you'll need online. However, I seriously recommend contacting a certified electrician, for the hook up. I don't know what code requirements you fall under, so that's the best I can suggest. Goodluck!!!

Kano, on the pool site, is the number of users actual accounts, or is it per miner connection? I'd like to include the number in my promoting I'm doing for the pool, and I don't wanna stray from facts. Also, I've noticed this number climbing too. Thanks!
Can anyone else answer this? Thanks! Users is the number of accounts + address accounts (currently mining) Thank you sir! This is very useful information.

No manufacturer will make a new miner without asicboost now and lose the 20% efficiency gains. Efficiency is everything in this game and I can't see any maker passing it up now. It'll only be a matter of time.
Hopefully some manufacturers can offer some sort of updates to their recent equipment as well. Also, will the DRAGONMINT come Pre configured with Slush, or your pool? Hopefully, it's yours, and it can help out Non-Corporate for once!

S9 failure is well known to be bad. (on the S9 at least, they were real good on the S1 an S3, things started to be bad with S5).
It's a bit of chance and badluck but they are way less reliable then Avalon product.
So yeah ... i'm all in Avalon now.
Probably nothing to do with the 6 months of "testing" they do, before selling it, price gouged, to some poor schlub. J/S

I highly suspect that Innosilicon hardware is involved in the Dragonmint unit. Screenshot comparison. Click to show a high-resolution image. You definitely have a reason to suspect that! It almost looks as if, they pulled the "Innosilicon" header out of the screen specifically for the pictures. Super sneaky, but in a super amateur way!
